A truly out-of-this world experience: no TV, simple accommodations, and a beautiful garden. If you want physical pampering, go elsewhere; if you want serenity and a temporary escape from the world, this is the place.

주차는 골목 특성 상 많지는 않은데 주차 안내 해 주시는 분이 너무 친절하게 해 주셨음. (숙소 관계자분 아님)

경주의 느낌을 갖고자 숙소도 한옥으로 정했는데 역시 한옥의 불편함은 어쩔수가 없습니다. 방음, 사생활 보호 등은 크게 기대하지 마시고요, 그나마 마루 딸린 방은 겨울 제외하면 운치있어 좋겠네요. 주차구역은 충분치 않아 복불복인듯 싶고 와이파이 없습니다. 큰 기대없이 한국인이라면 가볍게 한옥 느낌 받고 오는 정도로만 만족하세요.

Once you passed the gate , you re in the ancient time in Korea.. so authentic. All wooded and beautiful.peaceful courtyard in the middle of a busy neighborhood. Great vintage shops, restaurants, fancy boutique..and traditional shops! Nice eatery open late just few meters away ! Loved it all

Nice place to stay if you want to know what a Hanok (traditional Korean house) feels like. Does not have a parking lot. Need to park outside the place , in the road, which may or may not be available. Near two markets within open distance, which open early and close late. Provides bottled water, refrigerator and two small cup ramen.

The property is a traditional Hanok guesthouse, beautifully decorated, clean and in excellent condition. It is conveniently situated between the ancient tomb district and the markets and shops of the modern town. A highlight of our stay was an evening art class with the delightful owner.

struttura pulita e niente zanzare, che per un hanok non è scontato. La sera accendevano uno zampirone davanti alla stanza.

The place is genuinely traditional and is perfect if you'd like to have a unique experience. The owner is very calm and helpful. Facility is very clean and cozy. Really loved the place and would definitely come back!

Wundervolle kleine Hanok Unterkunft im Herzen von Gyeongju. Fußläufig sind die Gräber (Tomb Komplex) super easy erlaufbar. Wenn man sich mit der Naver Map App navigiert, kann man auch umliegende Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Bulguksa Tempel super und günstig mit den öffentlichen Bussen erreichen. Wir hatten aufgrund der Verfügbarkeit das kleinste Zimmer (Ondol D). Es war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und wirkte gepflegt und hochwertig. Das Zimmer selbst ist ca. 3x3m groß, das Bad 1,5x1,5m. Klein, hat aber ausgereicht. Man schläft auf dem Boden auf ca 10cm hohen Matratzen, die durchaus weich und angenehm sind! Wir hatten einen kühlen Tag dabei. Es wurde das Ondol, also die traditionelle Bodenheizung, aktiviert und es war schön warm. Zugang zur Unterkunft hat man per digitalem Zahlenschloss. Das Zimmer selbst ist nicht verschlossen. Ein Kritikpunkt ist vielleicht, dass niemand so wirklich mit uns kommunizierte. Die Putzfrauen hat es per Übersetzer versucht und die Inhaberin (?) schien auch sehr desinteressiert an den Gästen. Egal, die Unterkunft selbst war eine super schöne Erfahrung!

Chambre très propre

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I have a couple of reasons for this one. I think my criticism are things that would be very easy to fix for this hotel. My biggest problem with our room was the bed. We had a king bed and it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever encountered. The “mattress” is just a box spring. It felt as though you were sleeping in the hard ground. Overall, the room was clean, well maintained and the location was walkable to restaurants and some of the attractions. They have to fix the bed situation. The other hiccup was that our room had no bath towels to use after a shower. I got in touch with the hotel to request some and I was told that having bath towels was a special request and I had not included this in my reservation. I have never heard about this before, to me, towels are a basic amenity. I was very annoyed that the hotel didn’t just admit their mistake and instead argued with me making it seem like I was the unreasonable one. The next day they brought us a couple of towels but this exchange left a bad taste in my mouth.

住宿地點靠近熱鬧商圈，街道古色古香，房間是傳統韓屋，擺放滿多傳統的傢俱，打掃的滿乾淨，衛浴有重新整理過，是現代衛浴設施。

The lady was very nice to explain everything and accommodate us. Nice, big and clean room, Hanok, with everything you need.

韓屋の雰囲気を楽しむには最適。芸術的センスのあるオーナーの対応も気持ちいい。ただし、伝統的な家屋の為、防音の機能はない。隣室の音は筒抜けとなる。オーナーはチェックインの際に音に気を付けるよう注意するので、みんな気を遣っている。よほど不運な隣客に遭遇しない限り、問題はないと思う。通りに面しているが、車はスピードを出せない道で、騒々しい飲食店も近くにないので、外の音に悩まされることはない。

I really enjoyed my stay at this hanok guesthouse = first time and a very memorable experience. it's much more comfortable than it seems in the photos. I booked the smallest room, solo traveller, so it was fine for a place to sleep, shower and storage your baggage. there was x2 thin mattresses which I bunked up and had a wonderful cozy sleep every night. the floor is heated and you can feel it through the mattresses, like having a heated blanket! the bathroom was an open style but had everything you needed. the TV worked well with USB function so I could watch my own movies and tv shows. the fridge was noisy so I unplugged it. theres also a kettle, hairdryer and air-con which worked fine. location is very central = youre in the fashon district which has modern and vintage clothing stores, local restaurants, cafes and within 5min walk to two big day markets - fruit & vege, meat and eateries which are a must try, and a night market. bus stop is 5min walk away and 5min - 10min walk to many famous landmarks. highly recommend to book a room at this hanok guesthouse. it was one of the highlights of my 4 week trip around South Korea. thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely artist runs this small hanok. This is a very authentic property, ie walls paper thin, floor futon… fyi. I was very comfortable, the bath/ shower were excellent. Great location near the burial tombs, the traditional market, numerous antique stores, junk dealers, hip clothing stores.

Porte fermée à clé personne pour vous accueillir on vous on demande à quelle heure vous arrivez vous mettez vous midi vous attendez à la porte fermée à clé on ne peut pas rentrer dans l'hôtel il y a personne pour vous accueillir C'est un facteur qui a réussi à me faire ouvrir la porte j'ai posé mes bagages au madis de revenir à 3h à 3h ce n'est pas la propriétaire c'est une aide qui est venu qui me parle évidemment pas un mot d'anglais le wi-fi ne marche pas je l'ai signalé c'est le plus l'hôtel les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité je n'ai jamais eu un homme de cet état dis un hôtel en Corée si je ne faisais pas une excursion demain je changerai immédiatement d'hôtel

C'est la seule Hanok de cette rue assez animée. L'environnement est donc quelconque. Il y a trois ou quatre chambre, et j'avais l'unique qui donnait sur la rue, sachant qu'on entend parler de l'autre côté du mur. Hanok traditionnelle et très jolie à l'intérieur, mais réellement inconfortable pour un occidental : Matelas sommaire, pas de chaise, pas de table. Il faut vivre au ras du sol et les 4 jours ont paru longs. Pas de porte qui ferment, il y a juste 1 code à l'entrée pour tous les occupants. Pas de petit-déjeuner. Ok pour le fun, une nuit, mais pas plus.

En general nos ha gustado todo. La experiencia de dormir en un hanok ha sido muy buena. La recepcionista tuvo un trato correcto sin ser especialmente amable.

Cet endroit était superbe! Traditionnel mais en même temps très confort, avec tout le nécessaire et un personnel très agréable et arrangeant. Je recommande!

We were pleasantly surprised with this stay. The house was nicer than we expected and looked amazing with afternoon light. Lovely place for a couple who wish to experience a traditional stay. Location was also excellent, we were minutes away from all the museums and local attractions and the main bus terminal.

La geust house est bien placée. Le hanok est magnifique et les chambres sont plus que satisfaisantes.

한옥의 장점과 단점을 모두갖고 있습니다. 하지만 사장님의 단점을 커버하시려는 노력 역시 보이는 숙박이었습니다. 특히 화장실 바닥에 열선 까신 건 진짜 신의 한수! 컵라면과 커피를 매일 주시는 것도 좋았네요. 하지만 각 방별로 여러박 숙박시에는 낮에 나갈 때 잠금 장치를 할 수 있는 방법을 모색해보실 것을 사장님께 건의드립니다.
