Hotel The Botanik Sewoon Myeongdong

Good breakfast buffet, excellent and helpful staff in relatively new hotel. Bathroom was small. In advertently booked room with two twin beds so check room details carefully.

Ended up moving to a different hotel 3 days prior to planned departure because we simply didnt enjoy ourselves and didnt manage to relax in this hotel. Reached out to them a couple of times prior to our actual departure but still havent got any answer(5-6 days later). Wont come back. Positives + Location + 24/7 convenience store in the building + Fridge and microwave + Getting bottles of water in the fridge every day Negatives - What sounds like construction(drilling in the wall) noises through out the day (both mid day (1200-1400pm) and now at even the evening as well(20:00pm) - Unbreathable bed sheets, which makes it impossible to sleep without aircon - Extremely noisy aircon and ventilation, which makes it next to impossible to sleep - Rocky hard beds - Very dirty balconies, which also is make us not wanting to use them - Not cleaning well inside. A lot of dust. - Overcrowded gym - Not taking trash when cleaning(bare minimum) - Difficult to get help from staff/reception - Uncosy room in general(Signature Suite) - Not getting basics such as toilet paper, when the room is cleaned

The Hotel is amazing! We stayed in a room with a full size fridge and wash tower. This allowed for great flexibility when it came to leftovers and washing clothes in our own time. The staff is great and the location is very good! With metro and bus stations at a very short walking distance. Will stay here again for sure!

Staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

Perfect place to stay. Central location in Meyongdong. Walking distance for all attractions here. Nice and clean room. Fridge, sink, washjng machine, steaming closet all is available in the room. Excellent.
