Rooms were clean and well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, face masks and lotion along with plenty of towels. The room also had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The microwave was a nice surprise as it was not listed as a room amenity on the website. The room was refreshed and cleaned every other day, but if you needed fresh towels or anything the front desk was quick and happy to help. The hotel has a nice sized pool and hot tub. The hot tub didn't always work properly though (wasn't really hot or have bubbles). The hotel had scheduled morning activites nearly every day and live music several evenings. They have outdoor games like lawn connect four, volleyball and pickle ball. They also have beach equipment like SUP and snorkeling equipment along with beach chairs you can rent at a reasonable cost. The onsite bistro didnt have a wide range of food selections, but what they did have was good and fresh. Fast food and food trucks are all within walking distance. They had a huge lobby in which to relax and socialize and for those rainy days you don't want to leave the hotel they have board games you can play. The beach is also easily accessible across the street, though crossing the street can be dangerous certain times of the day. Overall we had a very relaxing quiet stay on the North Shore away from all the hustle and bustle and commerce of Honolulu and Waikiki. Would definitely stay here again.

“The Courtyard Review: Laie Edition” This is by far the best Courtyard I have ever stayed in. You will be happy to know, that upon arrival, everything was clean and fresh. Floors were sparkling, the walls were nicely painted and the decor was updated. The staff (Kanna) was pleasant and welcomed me with a box of chocolates. I got my key card and headed down the hallway. This is a weird pet peeve of mine, but I get so bugged when hotel carpets in the hallway are dirty. These were NOT. They were very clean and the carpet design was lovely. I opened the door with the keycard and it worked without a problem. Such a plus. The room was perfect. Everything was clean and the beds were welcoming and comfortable. I was on the first floor with a view of the beautiful pool. The bathroom was an excellent size. It looked great and had no wear and tear from the island or guests. Super fresh. If I were Goldilocks, I would’ve sighed and said, “This is just right.” The grounds: Very well maintained. Palm trees were perfectly placed against the well thought out height of the building. Another sigh of “Just right.” I took advantage of the pool in the evening. MAGICAL. I soaked in the hot tub and chatted with guests. When done, I rested on a cabana lounge facing a crescent moon on a black canvas of sky, masterfully framed by two palm trees. Somebody pinch me. I must be dreaming. But it was real … and it was glorious.

It is located right next to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It has a beautiful Heated Pool with a waterfall. It has a Pickleball Court. And many other things to do right on the property. It is Extremely Clean. The Staff is very Friendly.

The hotel was having major renovation but that was no where disclosed prior to our check in. There were workers and pallets of material in the drive, a make shift checkin counter and only one outdoor bistro. Our hair dryer didn't work (front desk replaced it), coffee supplies were not replenished each day and the tub was not cleaned from day to day. I have always trusted the Marriott brand but they sure let us down on this one.

The hotel is a smaller hotel that has been remodeled. It’s clean and beautiful. My favorite part was the staff. Everyone, specially the front desk staff were friendly, kind and very helpful. They had the biggest smile and I definitely felt they were happy to help me. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again. If you want to experience the island without the hustle and bustle of the city, this is your hotel!

Rooms very large, clean, and well appointed. Bathroom wash large with a good shower and well designed for reaching all your personal items. The beds were super comfortable! Maid service was good and they left chocolates on the bed. Yum! Only complaint was we were next to a very noisy group and could hear their conversations, laughing, wrestling, until 2 or 3 in the morning…we think it was a group of teen boys whose parents were in a different room. They slammed doors, ran through the hallways chasing each other while yelling and swearing. McDonald’s was walking distance and good restaurants close by at the Polynesian Cultural Center, also walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

It was OK, not great and expected less hassle for the money.There were just a too few many matter of fact excuses for the condition of the hotel and for being short staffed. The hotel was under renovation so there was only one elevator. We were given a room "upgrade", but it was only in size and the location must have been one of the least desirable; next to the mechanical room with an endless buzz/hum of some compressor. It was also over the carport pull-up so not a good view. I would rather just have my original requested King room and facing the mountains. We ordered dinner once from the in-house Bistro restaurant and they just put it in takeout containers with plastic utensils and explained they were short-staffed was the reason behind that. At the same time they had 2 musicians playing for a number of hours so the priorities are a little mixed up there. The food itself was OK. There is $20 per day parking fee even though parking is abundant; just seems like a money grab. The room had the old-school in-wall A/C normally found at motel, which was on the noisy side. The room was mostly clean except the back of the TV had enough dust on it that it must have been a few years or more of buildup. The staff was very pleasant and activities people were good at setting up local excursions. I think with a little more competition their act would be forced to cleanup. I just didn\'t see the value for money and the condition of the hotel isn\'t accounted for in the pricing.

The hotel is under renovation specifically the lobby area. The rooms are already renovated and looks nice, we did not have any issues during our stay. Although the hotel is close to the road, the rooms are soundproof, we could have good sleep!! Totally recommended for your trip to the North Shore of Oahu

We live in Ewa Beach and had some friends visiting from out of town. We decided to spend a few days on the North Shore to check out the PCC and a few of the beaches up there. The hotel was great and the on site restaurant was super helpful because there's not a lot around the hotel in the way of dining. The rooms were nice and comfortable but the showers left us rather confused. In what can only be an attempt at a modern aesthetic, the showers don't have a door. No matter what, the bathroom floor will get drenched, which forces you to go through more towels, which is not terribly eco-friendly. Also, the shower heads need to be the removable kind, in my opinion. It's time for all hotels to catch up on that one. So much more convenient when you have little kids. The pool area was great and they have all kinds of gear you can rent. Overall we had a nice time and will be back.

Excellent location for North Shore! This area has the lush, open space beauty of Hawaii. Walk across the parking lot to the Polynesian Cultural Center (your entrance ticket lasts for three days) walk across the street to a calm and beautiful expanse of beach, or enjoy the pool with a waterfall. McDonalds is a parking lot away, but even better a short drive gets you to some of Oahu's best food trucks with fresh garlic shrimp and incredibly rich smoothies. Take a drive out to Ted's bakery and head up the local fresh fruit stands along the way. Lots of nearby beaches, and areas for snorkeling, sea life, etc Marriott is updated and well designed. We did include the breakfast package, and the food was good. Staff at this location were fantastic! Definitely an aloha spirit here. Only drawback is we were on the road side of the building. I could hear traffic, but we also could look out over the road and see the ocean.

The pool area is beautiful. It’s a little tropical paradise surrounded by a larger tropical paradise. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was more on the softer side so I had to do extra stretching in the morning.

The check-in process was amazing and fast. The hotel itself is breathtaking and very family oriented which I love. They have so many activities to keep the kids busy & occupied. We loved the food, service , staff and the beds are comfortable. The scenery is just beautiful driving to this hotel and the beach is right across the street, you can’t go wrong.

The staff at the hotel was beyond welcoming. I felt like I was staying at a super fancy hotel. Housekeeping even left chocolate covered macadamia nuts on my bed whenever they came in! And I was greeted with a whole box when I checked in! Wonderful hospitality!

Quiet, peaceful area, away from the crowds in Waikiki, easy access to multiple beautiful beaches nearby. It is a bit of a drive to the activities in the Honolulu area, but we enjoyed the drive and had plenty to do near the north shore - and we stayed for a week. The hotel lobby area is currently being renovated (Jan.2024), but they're working around it, and the rooms were all just recently renovated, so it was clean, comfortable, and smelled nice. The staff was fantastic and responsive. Can't go wrong. Our only complaint was the PCC (unrelated to the hotel) was using blowers at 7am on the mornings they are open (everyday except Sunday and Wednesday). Our room faced the pool (and PCC) so we could hear them, but it wasn't obnoxiously loud. I'd guess the rooms facing the ocean didn't have this problem. The good news is, it's an easy walk to the PCC, which we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Beautiful property. Pool and poolside is very nice but a little warm for Hawaii; also deepest part of pool is only 4 1/2 ft. Cafe in lobby was convenient with several food and drink options. Location is amazing; it\'s right on the highway that circles the island so using the bus is a viable option. Right across the street from a swimable beach with amazing sunrises and with multiple dining options close by. Cons: Reserved a room with 2 queen beds; confirmed 2 days before arrival; none available on check in. Requested extra pillows the night of arrival; and again the following day; never received them even though we were assured they were "on the way".

Wanted to see the north shore and the Polynesian Cultural Center. This property is right beside the Polynesian Cultural Center. We just walked over. Also very easy to get to anything in the North Shore. Very easy check in. Pool was nice with alot of loungers. Would stay again

This hotel is very conveniently located next to the Polynesian Cultural Center. This area of North Shore is a dry area due to Brigham Young University so cocktails are a drive away from the hotel.

I liked the pool! The beach access across the street was great. The daily housekeeping was wonderful. The bistro line in the morning was very long. And the elevator didn’t work for a couple days during our stay ( we were on the third floor!) but those were minor. I would stay here again!

We did like the fact that it was walking distance to a major attraction. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. What we did not like was the extremely high price, paying for parking on top of the hotel fee. Dining options were limited, (does no one on Oahu grill a plain white chicken breast?). Facilities were clean etc.
