Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan

Room nice and bathroom new and very good. Breakfast good. Staff very friendly and helpful. But air con on balcony so loud you couldn’t go out. Indoor air con noisy. On second night guests moved into the next door room - we could hear all their noise. (There was a door, so presumably this was a ‘family room’). Fridge in room looked new but didn’t work. Towels frayed. All gave the impression needing some tlc. Nowhere near 5*.

Second stay for cycling, Afriadi organising the logistics along with Ade are good team and solution providers at the lobby. The breakfast open at 4 am was appreciated and the breakfast team was very friendly.

The staff are nice and friendly… however hot water not working first night, then next consecutive 3 nights Air Conditioning stopped working. Overcharged initially when checked in. Booked for family of 4, to be told at check in no bed for 4th person - additional charge required however they had breakfast included…..

The staff at the ferry terminal pick up and concierge are very helpful. I don’t remember all the names but Ode helped us with the bags while we cycled to the hotel. Food wise Indonesian food is great and breakfast choices are many. View from the pool is amazing.
