Shower stall floor was dangerously slippery. I cannot believe that many guests, especially elderly guests, have not fallen. There is no vending for snacks or drinks? The front desk directed me to a hotel across the street. Must one use overpriced room service to get a bottle of Coke?

Jekyll Island is a beautiful and peaceful island. The Westin has recently undergone renovations and sits next to a nice, small shopping area overlooking the ocean. A great value for such a nice hotel at such a reasonable rate.

The amenities were fantastic. A bike rental for 4 hours per person, beach umbrella and 2 chairs, pool service, great food and drinks just to name a few things there. Starbucks is on site.

Good Features ; Excellent location on Jekyll easy parking , shuttle available to take you wherever you would like to go on island must return to hotel by 10pm . beach behind hotel easy walk and nice lounge chairs with umbrellas. there is beach service for drinks n lunch . rooms nice, staff friendly. very accommodating for pets , walks follow the beachfront and dog waste bags/trash containers provided along walkway . walking distance to a few basic eateries . Negatives ; bell hop service lacking at check in , had to struggle with my bags , no complimentary water at check in, no complementary coffee in lobby . The restaurant menu is the worst I have ever seen . Only item worth ordering is a salad so Plan on dining somewhere else . The lunch menu at the pool area is not much better . Otherwise pleasant stay .

wonderful hotel. Able to check in 2 hours early. Good size room and great balcony with chairs and a table. bed and pillows were awesome. pool/pool chairs were great too. bar/restaurant at pool had good food and good drinks. parking right at hotel. multiple restaurants within walking distance. 2 restaurants on site but did not use. looked busy. excellent front desk staff. Right on the beach

This is a great location on Jekyll Island. It’s a beautiful property right on the ocean. Like most Westin hotels, it’s overpriced. The resort fee and taxes will add an extra $40 a night. Don’t expect coffee in the morning unless you wanna pay nine dollars at their Starbucks.

Overall a very nice place to stay. Unfortunately two amenities that were featured did not work. Both the hot tub and heated pool were broken. Lastly my room had a view of the top of the roof. Outside of that very welcoming staff, entire hotel clean and with the spa music made the atmosphere very relaxing.

Elevator broken. Made things difficult. Did not like our partial ocean view room. Bathroom was not updated properly. Rusted hole on floor of shower. Old tile. Shampoo bottles glued to wall and one fell off on my foot. Food is great. Valet excellent. However pool too cold and filled with kids throwing balls so hard to safely use

Nice view and very convenient location. Sheets were stained but I think and hope they were clean. We had a few outlets that didn’t work but the room was very pretty. I would stay again.

We enjoyed a week long stay with peace and quiet and a clean room. The employees are very nice and friendly! Enjoyed all the amenities, bikes, beach chairs and restaurants on site!

The rooms cost so much and not very up to date and then They charge you more fees on top of that. There were leaks in the ceilings and stains on the carpets. When I first got there they gave me the wrong room and I had to go back down to get it fixed. I will never stay here again. There was a nice hotel down the way that did not cost as much and it comes with breakfast.

Oceanfront room had nice view. Beds comfortable. Neither elevator worked to go down from 4th floor and had to take steps down. When reported they said it would be fixed tomorrow. Staff for the most part was nice. Waiters and bartenders were excellent. Ceiling in room had water damage from leaks and room was musty.

It was...fine? I honestly was expecting much more, especially considering the price tag. But it’s clear that staff is more concerned with surface charm than thorough care. The undersides of all the pool umbrellas were moldy. There was trash thrown about on the roof terrace that none of the staff could be bothered to clean up. My husband and I arrived at the check in time and had to wait an hour while they continued to clean our room, which didn’t have a "do not disturb" door hanger. That led to an awkward morning with cleaning staff.

Booked a Studio Suite King Ocean View and unfortunately they only had an inside corner quite far from the beach for us. Yes, we could definitely see the Ocean at a distance but mostly had a great view of dozens of balconies, several so close we could shake hands with our neighbors.

Great view and excellent property. Perfect vacation. Only downside is that I didn’t get the room I reserved. I booked a king with an ocean view. I received a double queen with an ocean view. I would have appreciated the transparency upfront.

wonderful hotel. Able to check in 2 hours early. The property was beautiful, and the view of the ocean was amazing. The staff, for the most part, were amiable and helpful. However, we had to ask FIVE times to get our room cleaned. I talked to the staff on three different occasions, spoke to the cleaning staff manager on the phone once, and finally had to walk down to the desk and ask for clean towels and that our room be cleaned. It was finally resolved at 8:00 pm.

Beach view, semi pet friendly, walkable area, and Willet’s is yummy. Here are the cons: we wanted our room clean one of the days we stayed but we wanted to make sure we were out of the room whenever they came. We started calling them at 11:30 and they said they would send someone right up. We actually had to ask them four times and it took four hours for someone to finally come. They kept saying they were sending someone right up every time we ask them. It was kind of absurd.

This hotel is in a perfect location with wonder amenities. I only rated it 4 stars because our check in experience was sub par. Our room wasn’t ready until almost 5 and we never received a text to let us know when it was ready. The manager was extremely helpful but it should never have happened.

My family and I travel to Jekyll Island 1-2 times per year for our daughter's golf tournament. This is the second time this year we have stayed here as we love that this is a pet friendly hotel. We decided to give this location another try even though there were several unpleasant workers during our last stay, namely the Starbucks employees; it felt as though we were bothering them for service. However, the gentleman that checked us in the first stay gave us plenty of complementary coffee vouchers, which was nice. He also let us use the bell hop cart during check in and also check out without a problem. This time around, we were not given any coffee vouchers at check in and when my husband asked for one the next morning, he was told that he could only have 1 and they were only used for "group bookings." Not to mention when we checked into the room the night before it was almost 80 degrees in our room, but someone came in shortly after to re-set the AC. Also, during check out, we asked for the bell hop cart. When we asked if we could do it ourselves since that is what we did last time, the bell hop said that is not possible as this is a "full-service hotel." I told him it would be a few minutes so we could gather our things and he started to leave saying, "just call us back when you are ready." I told him to hold on and to just come in. My issue with the stay is the inconsistencies with service. We are still deciding if we will book here next time.

Rude staff members who believe this hotel to be more than it is. No snacks in lobby because that “is not a Westin thing”. Rude bartender who said “this is not a sports bar” in regards to watching bowl games. No shampoo in shower… overall nice hotel whose staff needs training.

We have stayed here many times over the years and have been very happy overall. Unfortunately, they did make a change with the restaurant recently and that was not a good decision as far was we’re concerned. We really enjoyed The Reserve dining experience and they have completely eliminated that and have replaced it with a very generic decor dining experience with absolutely the worst food I’ve ever had. We were very disappointed in this change and it will cause us to consider staying elsewhere next time we’re in the area. Change it back please!!!!

Service at restaurant onsite was awful. Got attitude from bartender for asking if we can bring food to go up to our room. They literally dumped all the food in cartons. Expensive for what it was. Also, wine selections are limited.

We stayed for one night during holiday travel. The hotel is wonderful. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoors much but the beach looked great. We must have gotten a recently renovated room. It was spacious clean and quiet. Front desk, valet and bar staff were helpful and friendly. We were disappointed with the restaurant though. The menu seemed out of season and overpriced ($5 for two pieces of toast?)The wait staff seemed unfamiliar with the menu and overall the food was just average. We would definitely return but look to eat elsewhere.

The hotel was great, location great, beach was wonderful, service not so great, had to call for body wash and conditioner separately as they ran out, restaurant service was slow and slower, floors could have been cleaner, disappointing for a full service hotel.
