Motel 6 Waco - Lacy Lakeview

Staff was very nice, but that's about the only positive. The road leading into the property is filled with potholes. Hotel room was atrocious. Dirty floors, walls, ceilings, etc. Roaches and bugs crawling throught the room and on the bedding the entire night. Door of the room was not sealed properly, which allowed more insects to enter the room and also allowed me to hear ALL of the freeway traffic throughout the entire night.

First room booked was decent, however the door didn't lock so we were moved to the other side. *Take a bottle of alcohol and your own bed sheets to avoid bed bugs and such... Ice machine stayed full and are around was neat.

It was an inexpensive motel stay. The place could probably use a remodel, but then the price would go up. Parking lot seemed to have a lot of sand for some reason. It didn't seem dirty but it didn't sparkle either. There wasn't any shampoo, just a bar of soap. The bath towels were pleasantly white and fluffy.

The pros: The staff were very nice and helpfull. They were updating the parking lot. The cons: The room was what you would expect from 2 start motel. AC leaked, non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. When it started pooring rain, a lot of that water poored in from under the door.

IT WAS A DECENT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE, NO POOL WAS DISAPPOINTING

Exterior looked a little run-down. But the room was basic but clean & functional. Comfortable bed, good linens. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.

It was a quiet spot with shopping and food right down the street. I would have liked a picnic table or some place to sit outside.

Bed sheets had hair, ashes on fridge in non smoking room,, very dated but not for price, nice front desk , we went and bought sheets and a blanket to sleep on !!

My stash was horrible! At least he did ask if I wanted to change rooms because the one I booked was upstairs, but he had a downstairs, this is even before I went to the room for the night, this was just a courtesy he was offering cause it was downstairs smoking room. I took the downstairs room, it was clean when I went inside, it smelled weird but you know I bought an inscent to help with the smell, couldn’t get the microwave to add the time just cook, which I didn’t use, made it to the bathroom and I’m killing roaches, in the ceiling over the shower, he said it was a HOLE, it’s not a HOLE,LEAK, BUT THAT IS MOLD OVER THE SHOWER! VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! More to come, I finally sit down, eat some dinner, turn on the TV, (which needs to be upgraded), I turn on the heat and it WANT COME ON! My bad it will come on but it’s stuck on the AC COLD AND YOU DON’T HAVE ANY HEAT! WE SUFFERED IN THAT ROOM CAUSE WE KNEW WE WERE LEAVING IN THE MORNING IT WAS LATE, I WASTED MY MONEY AND VERY HIGHLY UPSET! The only reason I went back is because I didn’t have this such of a bad experience before, but this WAS BEYOND MY CONTROL!

Dirtiest room I’ve ever been placed in. Bugs crawling on the bathroom door and dead bugs all around the room. Piles of dirt in each corner including other garbage. Door to the room did not even close all the way.

Room was not really in clean condition. Floors were dirty-sink was freshly wet and bathtub-toilet did not flush properly -no shampoo conditioner body was. There were 2 very small bars of soap. Beds did not appear to be freshly cleaned either. Not a good place to stay

DO NOT STAY HERE! If you are still considering staying here, don’t you will want to leave and Uber or Lyft may not come get you. It’s that BAD! 1st room smelled horrible, had a sticky floor, filthy, run down room. I would not advise to sit on the bed let alone sleep in it. Then there were live and dead cockroaches in the room, other bugs in the bathroom. EVERY surface was dirty and disgusting. I went back to the lobby that is locked to wait for someone to comeback to see what could be done. His response was “Do you want a refund or do you want another room.” Very rude, very pushy, did not speak much English. I asked for another room. We both went into this next room and surveyed the filth. When we got to the bathroom there were human feces smeared on the outside of the toilet. I pointed it out to him and he was oblivious. I kept pointing and saying there was poop. He was not concerned in the least. He asked again if I wanted a refund, there were no other rooms. I asked for cleaning supplies and he ignored me. This was midnight after a full day of flying and I was in shock at the state of the hotel and his attitude. We went back to the lobby and he got a disposable dry dust mop, NO CLEANING SPRAY, nothing else . He was gone for 2 minutes and said it was now cleaned. I went back in and the smeared human feces were no longer on the toilet. Now it was just all over the bathroom floor, which I had not seen before. I stood in this room for 5-10 minutes trying

The room was not cleaned properly. I felt very uncomfortable and left early.

Booked a room with 2 queen beds. It was 2 full beds. Hard to sleep.bed to small. Roaches crawling on the wall

This was a very dirty place. Upon entering there was a strong Oder of cigarettes, there were roaches in the shower and the beds were dirty.

Room smelled like smoke. Came across roaches. Just one look at the room, had to leave and find another place to stay at.

The smoke free room smelled of smoke. The room needed serious upgrades and cleaning. I tried to turn on the TV using the remote but no luck The door was filthy, the bathroom tile and floor needed a good bleaching. The ac was very loud but it did get cold. I guess you get what you pay for. The owner’s son did help us carry our bags upstairs. Thank you

Property was dirty and the service extremely poor. Bathroom sink and shower controls broken. Water for shower not hot. Dead bugs in every light fixture. Zero amenities. I would never stay at this property again and would recommend you not supporting it. Requested a receipt but the printer was broken. Was supposed to have one emailed but as this writing have not received one.

The room was ok. There was no cold water. Crickets on floor.

The room was in terrible shape. Water damage, gaps around the door, missing trim in the bathroom with mold and water damage behind. Sing faucet was broken, springs poked through on mattress. Definitely do not recommend. I don't think the 10/10 reviews actually stayed here.

missing security latch for door, light fixture full of bugs. one light in room out, large roach crawled into bed with me. (water roach) other roach in bathroom sink. a/c worked great, bed was ok a little firm for my taste but sleepable.

Met expectations for property updates for price. Clean enough for a quick stay. Great value. Very nice staff when we arrived in evening. Good hot shower with great pressure. A little noisy at night but expected near highway.

The room had brown water stains and massive bubbles caused by water on the roof and walls. The smoke detector was in pieces. The bed duvet had cigarette burns all over. The tap in the shower was held up by a dirty plastic bag with all the tiles broken and cracked. A cockroach ran across the room. Wifi didn't work. Don't recommend at all.

They were nice people

Check in process was easy, we were stranded here for a few days the front desk clerks were very helpful, the rooms could be cleaner and roach free would be good. However the house keeping staff during our stay was very rude! She gave me attitude because I handed her the sheets at the door and asked for clean sheets & extra towels. Very unprofessional.

It’s super convenient to the TSTC campus. If it weren’t for the highway in between, it would be a 5 minute walk to the student center. It’s an older building and they keep it clean, but don’t expect the Four Seasons. It’s a safe place to sleep and relatively comfortable too. The price reflects that. I’ll definitely stay here again.
