Great staff! Breakfast was amazing! - Get the breakfast package with your room! Gym is open 24/7 They have a laundry that you can use - tip = use the Miele dryer, It actually heats up. The other ones take forever to dry your clothe! Bar in the lobby is cool and great way to meet people! The room are really spacious and the bathrooms are huge! Great location! We were there for Oktoberfest and love that fact that you can walk to the beer gardens!

The rooms were a good size as were the beds. The shower was excellent. The location was great for trains and for walking to city center. The parking garage was clean and well lit but a little difficult to manage with a large vehicle. The spaces were too small.

We just needed a place to stay prior to our flight. Aloft is very clean and comfortable and very convenient to several great restaurants and tourist shops as well as the train station. The only challenge is finding the parking garage which is not evident.

We stayed there for only 1 night's. Staff was great, nice, friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is that the hallway for the room, sometime motion sensor not working and we're walking in the dark, which is creepy. The courtyard could be clean up a vit. A little dirty may need some clean up

This is a modern hotel. The breakfast is exceptional with both hot and cold foods. It is located right across from the train station which makes it easy to go other places such as castle sites. It was not noisy in the room despite being in the center of town. There is also laundry services on site.

Wenn man alle Nebenkosten (Frühstück, Parking,...) dazuzählt, kommt ein ziemlich hoher Preis heraus. Schöne, komfortable und ruhige Zimmer. Angenehme Bar. Zu kleiner Frühstücksraum, war am Morgen gleich voll. Gut fand ich, dass das Hotel alle seine Angestellten "Talente" bezeichnet. Da kann sich manch eines Unternehmen eine Scheibe abscheiden ;-)

I was satisfied with the air conditioning, refrigerator, and the sufficient size of the room. However, there was only a small amount of toilet paper left. I left a note asking to have it refilled, but it was not, and I had a very difficult time that night having to hold it. The room was not cleaned; hair was left on the floor, and the water stains in the shower were the same as when I left. Honestly, I'm not sure if the bed sheets or cups were replaced. Also, I felt that the breakfast was meager compared to other hotels in the same class. On the other hand, the front desk service was excellent. When I consulted with them about August 15th being a holiday in Bavaria and Austria, they sincerely responded to my concerns. The facilities and amenities themselves are great, so I only hope that the cleaning services are strengthened.

Unless you need to be near the train station, this is a good bit of walking to the sites of Munich. Area has a lot of vagrant type and sketchy people walking around. Hotel was under construction and untidy. The hallway lighting was not on and was dark until you walked into the hallway and it turned on with a motion detector.

The hotel staff were nice and very helpful. The room was big but the carpet is gross. It looks dirty. The hallway was dark. The lights are censored so unless you walk on the hallway, it is dark. The shower is half open so the water flow out.

It close to the main train station if convenient is your priority but the property condition could have been mantained a bit better. There was dusk in the cupboards and the receptionists were not friendly. The carpet was old and a bit dirty in the room so bring a slipper.

Had the family room . It came with a king size bed and a queen size sofa bed. Room was big enough to set up 2 large luggage and able to walk around . Recommended for family of 4 or even 5. Shower area can be a bit slippery especially with young kids.

Aloft was just across the road from the main train station and good for transport links. The walk to Marienplatz was about 20 minutes. Room was large and clean. The room faced the inner courtyard which was not what we had booked, we were expecting a city view. Breakfast was good with a good range of hot and cold choices. Free tea and coffee from the lobby 24/7. We had a drink in the bar and the bar tender was very knowledgable about the drinks and which cocktails to try. Cadore is an Italian restaurant about 2 minutes walk away and the food was lovely. Overall we would stay here again.

A mixed bag of experiences, to a cold and unwelcoming check-in; to a super friendly/hospitable bartender and check-out. I've been staying at this hotel since it opened, on a fairly regular basis for business. Major issues remain, such as the shower's ability to flood the whole room. Every time I have mentioned this shower issue to staff, they have blamed 'user error', but I don't seem to have this issue at any other hotel, and I know other colleagues have had this same issue at this hotel. I'm going to be trying another hotel in the future, maybe the Ruby Rosi which is around the corner.

Very upset that Aloft is now a night club not a hotel. I have stayed at many alofts the US. All have been great. The Munich one is a night club. The music played until 1:00. I could hear the music even being on the 6th floor. The rooms and services were all great. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable in this location. It might be right next to the train station but that is not a good thing. Most places to visit in Munich are a bit far to get to from the hotel. I would not at the Munich aloft again.

Hotel in posizione ottima (di fronte alla stazione). La struttura è bella e le camere spaziose. Peccato che il personale non sia all'altezza. Alla reception hanno difficoltà con la lingua, non erano neanche in grado di darci indicazioni per gite turistiche. Abbiamo chiesto di alzare la temperatura in camera e nessun feed back, idem quando abbiamo chiesto un cuscino più rigido. La cosa peggiore però è la colazione. Un hotel con tante stanze ha una cucina del tutto inadeguata a gestire tutti gli ospiti, mancano spesso piatti, tazze e anche il cibo è poco. Insomma, non lo consiglio affatto per il prezzo che addebita per la camera e la colazione Il parcheggio comodo, ma 30€ al giorno mi sembra un pò tanto.

First of all, initially when I booked.. I had to change my non refundable reservation- I tried contacting the hotel so many times and no one would assist .. expedia sent 3 emails to the hotel and no one responded .. I had to cancel and lose my money and rebook. The front desk is always short staffed and you always have to wait and wait to be served.. this is not the first time I complain about this but it seems no one cares what customers have to say or complain.

A mixed bag of experiences, to a cold and unwelcoming check-in; to a super friendly/hospitable bartender and check-out. The front desk customer service was fantastic. They will respond to any issues/questions in a pleasant manner. Always friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and attractive. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only about 50 meters to the Hauptbahnhof. Conveniently close to everything.

I've stayed at Aloft Hotels all over, and I can honestly say that is hands down the best location I've ever stayed in (and frankly just the most convenient location if you need a central spot or train service). From the friendliest front desk management to a squeaky clean room, I truly couldn't have been happier with my four day stay. Also, BONUS--they have complimentary washer and dryers which was a lifesaver for a two week European trip. I'd be shocked if you were able to find a better hotel in Munich.

The staff was very accommodating. Although check in was at 3:00PM, we arrived early after a long transatlantic flight at 10:00AM. Our rooms were ready at that time and we were able to rest after our long flight. The rooms were large with 2 queen sized beds in the rooms. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space and storage. The shower was excellent. The hotel is right across from Munich central train station and has convenient transportation options. The Munich town center is walkable from hotel or easily reached by metro. Highly recommend

A great value hotel, very convenient to the train station. Property is nicely kept and staff was friendly. You would clearly be here for proximity to the train, as I was staying one night on the way though. Area isn’t a highlight, and if you’re visiting Munich for longer you would want to stay closer to the Altstadt. Still, worked well for my purposes, and if you need a quick convenient stay, this is a great option.

This place is close to transportation need and most of the meeting place of the tours we got is close to this hotel. Staffs are friendly and accommodating . The breakfast is good . I would definitely recommend this property .

Friendly and accommodating staff; definitely designed for American tourists, so not an authentic Bavarian experience. The area around the hotel is chaotic, unsightly and loud. Streets and high rises under construction on every side of the building.

Very clean hotel located directly across from the main metro station. Front desk staff was wonderful, helped give us directions and recommendations. The bartender is very talented, craft cocktails were high quality. Highly recommend this place if you want a nice stay in a convenient location.

The staff were very helpful. We especially enjoyed the Augustiner-Keller restaurant which was recommended to us. The buffet breakfast was outstanding with fresh and cooked items, juices, coffees, teas, pastries--truly whatever you might want. Our room was spacious, quiet, and clean, and we received fresh towels and bottled water daily. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Hauptbanhof and the S-bahn stop is steps away. unexceptional stay and a excellent value. Highly recommend.
