Das Positive vorneweg: Einfaches Einchecken über Self Check in. Das Zimmer war sauber, wenn auch nicht groß. Parkplätze und Ladestationen in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Über die Tiefgarage und den Aufzug haben jederzeit Fremde Zugang zum Hotel. Ich halte das für äßerst unsichern. Die Zimmer sind extrem klein das trifft auch für das Bad zu. Die Aufenthaltsqualität ist mangelahaft. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach gehalten. Personal spricht nicht oder nur sehr eingeschränkt deutsch. Das Hotel eignet sich eigentlich nur zum Übernachten für einen sehr eingeschränkte Zeitraum.

Arrived in Karlsruhe by train at 23. Had two tired (older) kids with us. Hotel is located more or less across to road from the train station so that was good. Rooms were clean, A/C, fairly new and nobody had any complaints about the beds. The kids slept in a bunk bed. Didn’t hear any noise from others. The rooms aren’t huge, but I’ve been in smaller ones. Large size was also not a requirement we had as we weren’t spending any significant time there. I’d say the size was just right. We had no problem fitting four large backpacks in there before we hopped on the train for Paris the next day. However four large suitcases needed to be opened at once might be problematic. Didn’t get to try the breakfast as the kids slept through breakfast time, but could be added on arrival. When we knew we couldn’t make the open reception time, we called and checked in via phone. Got a code to enter building and our room. Worked very well. Would stay again!

Das Bett war furchtbar. Auf der Tischseite war der Bettrand so weich, dass ich in der Nacht ständig das Gefühl hatte, ich falle raus, je weiter zur anderen Seite, je härter wurde es.

Das Hotel ist super verkehrsgünstig gelegen, genau am Hauptbahnhof. Im Grunde ist vieles zufriedenstellend - nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger. Was das Reiseerlebnis ist jedoch empfindlich stört, ist, dass das Hotel sehr hellhörig ist. Egal ob unter mir, neben mir oder im Zimmer den Flur gegenüber: Man hört so ziemlich alles. Besonders ungünstig ist das, wenn kleine Kinder in unmittelbarer Nähe sind... Normalerweise würde so etwas kaum auffallen - aber wenn das Geschrei und Gequengel bereits morgens um 5:30 Uhr schon losgeht, merkt man, welch grossen Einfluss Architektur auf das Wohlfühlerleben in einem Hotel hat.

Arrived in Karlsruhe by train at 23. Had two tired (older) kids with us. Hotel is located more or less across to road from the train station so that was good. Rooms were clean, A/C, fairly new and nobody had any complaints about the beds. The kids slept in a bunk bed. Didn’t hear any noise from others. The rooms aren’t huge, but I’ve been in smaller ones. Large size was also not a requirement we had as we weren’t spending any significant time there. I’d say the size was just right. We had no problem fitting four large backpacks in there before we hopped on the train for Paris the next day. However four large suitcases needed to be opened at once might be problematic. Didn’t get to try the breakfast as the kids slept through breakfast time, but could be added on arrival. When we knew we couldn’t make the open reception time, we called and checked in via phone. Got a code to enter building and our room. Worked very well. Would stay again!

Einfaches, aber tolles, Hotel, direkt am Karlsruher Hauptbahnhof. Obwohl das Zimmer zur Straßenseite war, hat man nichts gehört. Und es war eine gut befahrene Straße.

Situé derrière la Gare Centrale, avec parking. Ma chambre double etait simple et fonctionnelle, bonne literie. Cabine de douche de taille agréable. Le tout à l'état neuf. Buffet de petit déj. basique, j'ai apprecié les fruits frais. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Hôtel parfait pour un stop over.
