Absolute Beach - Sea View at Symphony Beach Club!

The room had a window facing the walkway which, if you look right, you can then see the ocean. That shouldn't be considered an ocean view. Lost power 2nd day at 2pm and it wasn't restored until 5am. Its Florida. It was so hot. Not hotels fault but we had to sleep in car until power came back on and we were still charged for the room that night. No ok. If you can accommodate, then the customer shouldnt have to pay for what they aren't getting.

We went fourteen hours without electric/air conditioning with no assist or communication from the host. I reached out when I realized that there was no electric around 8pm, and he sent me a screenshot showing it had been out since 2pm with a 10:45pm fix. It turned out to be a 4am fix, with zero update or help provided for a room without air conditioning in May in Florida. I believe that everyone staying there that night should be given a refund/discount, as none of us were paying to “camp.”

Please look at actual guest photos before booking this place because the pictures online are extremely misleading. The room looked nothing like what was advertised. The bed was an old, stiff Murphy bed and the pillows were flat, smelled bad, and honestly felt disgusting. When we first arrived, there was no electricity. I understand outages happen and that part may not have been their fault, but the communication was terrible. Nobody informed us ahead of time, and getting answers was almost impossible. I kept calling and either got no answer or was repeatedly told “one more hour” over and over again with no real update. I had an event the next day that was going to last 13 hours, and I had no way to charge my phone or even cool off because the room was so hot. It became stressful enough that I ended up booking another hotel nearby out of pocket. To make things worse, neither the hotel nor Hotels.com would refund me for the inconvenience. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and I would not stay here again.

Great choice of location, easy parking and close to convenience store and restaurants

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Location was good. Pillows were terrible, flat and no extras. No beach chairs.
