We were disappointed that the pool area was closed and the WiFi did not work. The staff was so polite and helpful, but we were looking forward to the hot tub after a stressful drive.

The rooms we're very clean. Staff was awesome. Only thing was the semi-trucks getting off the exit with engine brakes. To much chlorine in the pool and hot tub. Received a chemical burn while i was there.

Unfriendly check-in, wet carpet from carpet cleaning done earlier in the day leading to muggy used wet carpet smell through the night. Also advertised parking for trucks/trailers/rv etc but in actuality had to park on the limited cul-de-sac street parking - 3-4 spots. Just be aware may have to park further down the street from hotel

Loved this place! Unexpectedly great! The bar and pool/hot tub are open until midnight! David, the overnight manager, was really nice and made us pizzas at midnight! Room was clean and spacious!

Curb appeal was good. Front desk was cordial. Room was spacious and fairly clean. It was a handicap accessible room but on 2nd floor. They had an elevator so that’s nice. Shower had black mold at basin at the basin was pitched towards wall so it didn’t drain well. Only shower head was hand wand style. Several floor tiles were loose and grout was missing or loose. Window had view of roof. Room had second sing but no cabinet doors so you could see plumbing. Hot tub was a warm tub with shower water hotter. Coffee was okay but milk was spoiled and breakfast was near non existent.

I liked the room arrangement, bed comfort, amenities. I did not like the smell of the room. The first room smelled like there may have been a dog accident, which I know isn't your fault (room 214). We were readily given a new room (room 216), but that room smelled bad too. It seemed to be coming from the air conditioner possibly. It was getting late, so we did not ask for another new room. The smell outside of the hotel wasn't good either, so again may not be something easy to prevent. The staff was great though!

Weve stayed here before and rated it 4 or 5, this time, not so much. We were in room 308 a king suite. The bed was not comfortable at all. It seemed worn out or very stiff. It felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. There was a sheet a bedspread and one very thin blanket. The AC was on 57 when we arrived so we opened the window to warm it up in the room. At 3 am we woke up and the thermostat was down to 61 again and we were freezing. The whole thing just seemed a little “off”. We will probably try it again sometime, but it just didn’t stand out to us like it did in the past.

There was construction, but obviously not the hotel's fault. What was shocking was when we asked the girl at the desk how to get back on I-90 since the ramp going West was closed. She didn't know. Here excuse: "I just moved here (from Sioux Falls) in April." Really? We finally figured it out ourselves after asking the host at Pizza Ranch, who also didn't know directions because she just moved to Hartford in May.

Check in person not very friendly. When got to room there was no toiletries, soap, hand soap, shampoo or conditioner. Went down to get these and same person that checked us in just handed them over without apology or saying anything. Most limited breakfast items I’ve ever encountered at a hotel that advertises for breakfast. Bed was good, clean. Morning person was friendly.

The staff were all amazing. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was an awesome way to start the day. I would highly recommend this hotel. There was a lot of construction going on around the hotel area.

We stayed while we were at a week of county 4-H fair. With the exception of one employee the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. We would leave early in the morning and arrived back at the hotel after supper hours. We left one of the two cars we arrived in, at the hotel and had no problems with anything being messed with or damaged. If we needed something after we got back to the hotel towels, soap, etc. they were very good with getting them for us. We enjoyed our stay and the friendly, helpful staff. It made the long hours of showing livestock go smoothly.

Friendly staff and clean. Enjoyed being in the countryside but close to the interstate. The surrounding farmland is beautiful. The only drawback was road construction which has nothing to do with the hotel!
