I had a great time here and really there’s just a few things I wasn’t happy with. The bed wasn’t very comfy or pillows. Bar closes too early and the air conditioner doesn’t keep the room cold even on 60. Install ceiling fans. Would help a bunch!!

The property is older but so clean. It has so much to offer with 3 pools, hot tub, and right on the gulf. It’s within walking distance to shops and so many restaurants. It’s a busy location but not overly. They offer family activities (free book lunch one day, movie night on the sun deck, sandcastle building contest) that make the stay so much more then we anticipated it to be. We were really happy with our stay and have recommended it to friends and family.

Great place to stay, the staff is amazing! It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s a great place with a great vibe and great location and view. The tiki bar down by the beach access is a huge plus. Be sure and say hi to Lisa at the tiki bar, she’s awesome!!!

My family enjoyed everything. From the Hot pools, Hot tubs, walking distance to the beach, amazing beach view, the tiki bar and food was delicious and cheap. I paid around 1200$ for a three night stay . which is very pricey . But the rooms not always expensive maybe because it was the weekend of Memorial Day weekend. Everything is walking distance and señorfrogs was the best place to eat and party and vibes . Etc. great place to have fun

This was our first visit to Osprey on the Gulf and it did not disappoint. We rented the family suite and it was great. We had a balcony with the ocean view, lots of room inside and was up to date. It is a older hotel but they keep up with it great. You get room service everyday. There is a kitchen to cook meals. There are 3 pools and a splash pad for kids. There are lots of places to sit outside by the pool or you can sit by the tiki bar downstairs. It’s a easy walk to the beach and you can rent chairs and an umbrella for 35$ a day. There are lots of food places , bars, shops and the pier close to walk to. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice older prospering great shape. Clean an on the beach. Multiple pools and a hot tub. On site tiki bar for burgers and drinks. Plenty of parking onsite and across the street. Walking distance to Pier Park.

My first time staying, and we will be back. Room was clean, quiet and cold. So many cool activities for kids that my 9yr old loved! Great pools, elevators always working and quick. The only drawback was the lack of parking at the hotel, but to be fair there is a huge lot across the street, which is where I parked. I highly recommend!!! Also Staff was amazing

Clean, you get use of driftwood, and osprey, they are connected by a covered garage. chairs for rent at beach. pools very different at each property. most of the people there were returning guests. It is smoker friendly, but as a non smoker, I never smelled it in any area inside or out, just see people smoking or ashtrays outside. The Walmart is close, 1 min drive. the traffic around PCB is insane but you can get to Walmart without any traffic issues, it is a super Walmart. The staff are always around, you dont even have time to ask for something, they are there. You can tell it is family run, it is very organized and well run. The beds were fine, hot water, i bring my own pillows. The kitchen had normal coffee pots, all the things you need to cook eat with. they clean daily, and refill towels, rags empty trash etc. There is shampoo, conditioner and soap, dish soap, dish rag, toilet paper. you wont find a cleaner more organized stay at a beach. parking is super easy, all right in front or across the street, really your car stays cleaner across the street, the garage is very close to the beach so you get the salt and sand on your car. They monitor al the parking and traffic. They have an electronic band that lets you in the doors of the hotels, restrooms, pools etc. they have washer/dryer on each floor in osprey.

this was our first family trip to Panama City Beach, and definitely Osprey on the Gulf is pretty amazing!! the location is unbeatable, just a few minutes to Pier Park and grocery stores, but the most incredible part is the view from the room pretty stunning 😍. the staff all of them super friendly. the cleanliness in our room was spotless, and the room with full kitchen is pretty good, especially if you have kids. definitely, Osprey on the Gulf is a comeback.

This hotel is clean with a great location and gulf front! It’s a simple place but was perfect for our 3 day stay. Full size fridge and counter to sit. Table and chairs on patio to enjoy the view. Cute tiki bar on property. Lots of pool deck seating. All employees were friendly and easy parking. Bracelet room key was handy.

Everything was nice. Right on the beach with great views and access. The room was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. The mattress was slightly uncomfortable, but bearable. I would stay again.

Great location, friendly staff, great overall value. This place was probably top notch 30yrs. ago. Though dated, everything was functional. I thought it was going to be a fairly quiet and peaceful stay, but between other guests having ‘elevated’ conversations in the hallway, and the apparent lack of vehicle exhaust noise controls in Florida, don’t plan on sleeping before 2am.

Great location, friendly staff, great overall value. This place was probably top notch 30yrs. ago. Though dated, everything was functional. The remote control for the TV did not work. We took it to the front desk for a new battery. He said that he would have to have maintenance look at it. He never showed up. There was a massive storm with tornado alarms going off so we wanted to see the weather channel...to see if it was for the hotel area or back home's area.

Great location and staff was excellent. Property could use an update to the beds. They weren’t that comfortable. Also upgrade to the tv and streaming options. Room was clean and had a great view! The cost was great too but that is most likely attributed to the things needing updating. The weather was horrible while we were there with the “fog” that was dangerous to breath so we were confined to the room most of the trip.

This beach front property is in a great location, close to the fishing pier, restaurants and shopping. The balcony facing the gulf is priceless. The property itself is dated and needs a face lift. We requested the staff twice to fix the electric plug to charge our cell phones, but they never showed up. We rented two beach chairs and an umbrella for $39.12 (over $40 after tips). The rental was supposed to be for a full day. We got to use the set for less than 3 hours and were told to return set by 4:00. That is when their day ends.

I went to Osprey on the Gulf not knowing what to expect and it was the most hospitable stay I have ever encountered. Every single person who works there takes so much pride in the place and it really shows. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming and even told me about local New Year events, housekeeping staff did a great job and were so friendly, and facilities staff was out there spraying off the steps in the afternoon and even scrubbing grills in the rain in the morning so they would be ready for use later in the day. There is coffee in the lobby in the morning and popcorn in the afternoon, the outdoor pool was heated enough to enjoy in chilly weather in December, and there were all kinds of outdoor games for guests to enjoy. The room was well stocked with kitchen items to make meals in, the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom so someone could be getting ready if the bathroom was occupied, and the beachfront view and balcony couldn't be beat. At check-in you receive waterproof wristbands kind of like at Disney World to use as a room key but the hospitality was even better than Disney. Everyone I met in the pool/hot tub had been going there for years and I can see why. I can't wait to return.

Drove down to stay for one night before our condo check in for the next week. Did not like that when I came back to ask about trying to get in a little earlier after driving for 13 hours and watching over a dozen vehicles leave and cleaning staff in and out of several rooms I was rudely told they have my number and they will call me if a room becomes available but that check in isn’t until 4. First employee I talked to early in the am gentleman was pleasant sand told me to check back, the second 2 women at front desk had unnecessary attitude and at the worst possible time having given all night. I had 2 other family members arrive in the same time frame and both were allowed to get in earlier than stated time with no problems. This would have been the extra step one motel could take to keep people returning but I can say I understand why the reviews I went back and read say no refund is ever offered. As far as the room goes clean enough, but a bit odd that the kitchenette nor the actual room did not have a trash can, only the tiny one in the bathroom. Can say that I will probably never be back here and after the way we were treated would never recommend this place to anyone, to many other way better options to put up with this nonsense. Drove down to stay for one night before our condo check in for the next week. Did not like that when I came back to ask about trying to get in a little earlier after driving for 13 hours and watching over a dozen vehicles leave and cleaning staff in and out of several rooms I was rudely told they have my number and they will call me if a room becomes available but that check in isn’t until 4. First employee I talked to early in the am gentleman was pleasant sand told me to check back, the second 2 women at front desk had unnecessary attitude and at the worst possible time having given all night. I had 2 other family members arrive in the same time frame and both were allowed to get in earlier than stated time with no problems. This would have been the extra step one motel could take to keep people returning but I can say I understand why the reviews I went back and read say no refund is ever offered. As far as the room goes clean enough, but a bit odd that the kitchenette nor the actual room did not have a trash can, only the tiny one in the bathroom. Can say that I will probably never be back here and after the way we were treated would never recommend this place to anyone, to many other way better options to put up with this nonsense. Just a quick weekend trip to the beach. This was our first trip to PCB in 23 years. The Osprey came highly recommended from two families we talked to. We were not disappointed. We will stay here again and would recommend Osprey to anyone. Family owned, clean, close to good restaurants.

We loved our stay! The view of ocean from our private balcony was breath taking. Our flight ended being changed last minute so we got into Panama City Beach 4 hours early. The staff allowed us to check in early! The pools and hot tub were clean and very enjoyable. Thank you so much!

I love the Osprey Have stayed several times. Is it fancy ? No. But it is clean and feel so comfortable. My husband spent 4 days in the hospital on our last trip. I felt safe and they took care with the recommendations for ER. We even had to stay more days. Very accommodating. Going back in October, will be our 3rd stay this year.

This hotel is clean with a great location and gulf front! It’s a simple place but was perfect for our 3 day stay. Full size fridge and counter to sit. Table and chairs on patio to enjoy the view. Cute tiki bar on property. Lots of pool deck seating. All employees were friendly and easy parking. Bracelet room key was handy.

For a budget friendly place during spring break, this is the place to go! The staff is very friendly and willing to offer up suggestions on what to do / where to go. Is walking distance from Pier Park for shopping. Only suggestion: since there is no breakfast place nearby maybe some "grab and go" breakfast options like muffins, or packaged oatmeal, etc.

Great place!!!! Room was clean and a joy to stay in! Great view of the ocean! They have a great tiki bar with food/drinks right off the ocean which we took advantage of after swimming! Everyone was super friendly!!! Less than a mile from Pier Park, great location!!!! I will definitely return!!

My family enjoyed everything. From the Hot pools, Hot tubs, walking distance to the beach, amazing beach view, the tiki bar and food was delicious and cheap. I paid around 1200$ for a three night stay . which is very pricey . But the rooms not always expensive maybe because it was the weekend of Memorial Day weekend. Everything is walking distance and señorfrogs was the best place to eat and party and vibes . Etc. great place to have fun

Very clean - provided the things I wanted without the things I do not, which kept the price down. Was pretty disappointed in the on site bar, but that would not keep me from staying there again. Great location! So clean, which is very important to me.

Our 3 night stay at Osprey on the Gulf was absolutely lovely! The view of the beach from our room was spectacular, the room was clean and well maintained, the little kitchen was perfect size to allow us to make a small meal, and just overall a lovely place to stay. The property is extremely clean and there is always staff around keeping things tidy and being friendly and helpful. The little bar downstairs is super cute, but something that we found really thoughtful is that the bar closes down quite early so guests have quiet at night. Call me old, but I thought that was nice. You can rent chairs and an umbrella on the beach for a reasonable daily price. The pools are clean and sparkling and very refreshing! There’s a hot tub, but my sunburn said NO! so I can’t say it was great… but it sure looked like it would be. I’ve got nothing negative to say about this sweet little property, and would definitely say it’s worth a visit!
