This property was a great bang for your buck. It is clean and the staff are friendly. It was a convenient location in Keyser. I definitely recommend this location. I stayed for 3 nights. I was up for the North Branch release and the hotel has a laundry room which was an added bonus!!

For $84 including tax it is exactly what you would expect. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Very simple, minimum continental breakfast. No elevator so don't stay if you can not do a flight of stairs with your luggage. Heater in the room had motor issues and sounded like a boat motor. Had to shut it off. The soap dishes in the shower had bars of soap melted residue in them and some kind of red goo. Minimal to me as I did not use the shower. Only spent 7 hours there to eat a quick burger and catch a few hours sleep. Had a couple of hot hard boiled eggs( not cooked before they were put out) and they were still in the shells so you knew they were freshly made not packaged eggs. I got exactly what I was expecting with a friendly staff and clean bed to sleep in.

There are not many lodging choices for this location, but this property was well worth the value to stay here. The property and room was very clean and appeared to be recently updated. The staff was very pleasant and check-in / check out was very easy.. The bed was very clean and comfortable with lots of pillows. The room was equipped with a mini refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, and microwave. The HVAC system was quiet. There was plenty of free self parking. This property is conveniently located next to a Sheetz gas station just outside the main town in a quiet neighborhood. This property also provides a free “cold” breakfast though the coffee is fresh and hot. This property is also AAA approved. I would definitely stay again.

My friend and I are both disabled. We couldn't carry our luggage upstairs or downstairs. The desk clerk and a very nice customer carried our bAGGAGE upstairs for us. This morning the desk clerk and the cleaning staff helped us get the luggage back in the car. None of the hotel employees nor the customer would take any pay. We really appreciated their help. We enjoyed our stay. You really need an elevator.

It was a nice place, but did NOT have an elevator. If that was in hotels.com I missed it. I did not like having to carry my suitcases upstairs because i am handicapped, and was offered no help. But the staff was nice. The rooms were very dated. My husband said he felt like he was sleeping on the floor, and one side of the bed was too close to the wall to get around. My husband had to crawl over the bed.

The front desk was very accommodating, my husband cannot walk far and I had not requested a ground floor , because we checked in early we were able to get a ground floor because they have no elevator, she even gave us dining options within a couple of miles

I had to book a room for my husband for a few nights for work because his usual hotel (25 miles away) was booked out. Not sure what was going on, but this was the most affordable hotel in the area. Now, generally, I dont book the most affordable because "you get what you pay for" but I did it anyway because the others available were over twice as much. My husband called me all excited about how SUPER nice this hotel was!! He said it was so clean and so comfortable that he wished he could stay there for the next week. So very glad I took a chance on this hotel. Highly recommended!

This Inn is very dated! Bed was terrible. You could see low spots in the mattress as son as you walked in the room. Worst bed I ever slept in!! Free breakfasts was an absolute joke!! Hard boiled eggs, toast and cereal. There aren’t many other options in the area where we stayed but I would try a different place if you could!!

It is extremely quiet inside, despite the main street right out front and a 24-hour Sheetz right next door (convenient for food, snacks, and gas). The front desk made a very good suggestion for the Double B Grill for dinner (excellent fried pickles and huge portions of everything else). Comfortable room size, clean, solid mattress and comfy pillows. The hallways smell nice. Free breakfast was coffee, juice, two cereal choices, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, and toast. We'd come back if we were in the neighborhood (close to the Potomac Eagle Train which was why we came). Other fast food restaurants, a grocery store and the Walmart are close by too.

This is an older property, but it was good enough based on the cost. The mattresses and shower head in our room should be replaced, but they worked. I would not want an extended stay, but it was good for a few nights. It was quiet, safe, and clean. It was just not modern. It was a good stay for us.

It could use some updating, but overall it was clean and convenient. Beds were old school, but comfy enough. AC worked great, and we froze ourselves to death lol. It was quiet, even though there’s a lot of stuff around which was nice.

I absolutely love this hotel! It looks great, the people are wonderful that work there, everyone from the front desk to the ones who clean are as super nice and helpful as ever! I make a trip over 5 hrs every month to Romney WV and the Keyser Inn is my only stay ever time! It’s now my home away from home!! So thankful I found them!!

The first night was OK. The second night was a nightmare. Little kids hollering and running around till way after midnight. The continental breakfast was non-existent. There was only one type of cereal and some bread for toast. When we checked out I asked about a AAA discount and the lady said yes but could not take it off my bill. We told them about and they knew but did nothing.

Keyser Inn has always been my go to hotel for quick trips back home to WV. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Upon check in we discovered we had two queens vs the king I booked, and they were so apologetic and worried it would ruin our trip. For a one night stay I assured them it was not a problem. They even offered us a discount upon checkout for the mix up and it really wasn't necessary but was appreciated. The rooms may be a little dated, but they are always clean, and the beds are comfortable. Give Keyser Inn a try if in the area!

Booked thru Expedia 4 adults 2 rooms. Got to Keyser Inn. Was told they only showed I only need 1 room with a king size bed. They were able to provide an add’l room but I had to ask for it they never said anything just that I only had 1 room with a king bed for 4 adults. Front desk clerk needs to work on her work and social skills some. No one like to be greeted by a grouch.

I can't say enough about the staff at Keyser Inn, they were all friendly, polite and professional. Our car broke down, the front desk representative tried her best to help us, she called several mechanics and posted on facebook for any merchanics in the area. She gave us booster cables which was extremely helpful. Thank you for your help and assisting us with our problem. I will let my friends and family, if visiting West Virginia to stay at Keyser Inn.

Close to the event we were attending (Potomac Eagle train ride). Personally like a harder mattress and firmer pillows; excellent cleanliness throughout. Would prefer the squeeze bottle of shampoo and soap that other hotels are now installing (shower AND tub) -- little slivers of soap just don't cut it. Also, very weak coffee; only orange juice (not apple too) and no fresh fruit. But a "free continental" breakfast is what you "pay for" so it was minimal, at best. The price of the room, however, can't be beat.

This is a budget hotel, but an excellent value for your dollar. We stayed here with friends prior to taking the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad trip. The room is basic but clean and everything you need is there including a microwave and refrigerator, a good shower, and reasonably comfortable beds. Breakfast is Continental as advertised, but there are hard boiled eggs for protein. Some items were not quickly restocked in the breakfast room, but a simple request at the desk and they were cheerfully refilled. The desk clerk is also covering the breakfast area and that keeps her busy. All of the staff were so pleasant and helpful. Although our stay was not luxurious it was entirely satisfactory, met our needs, and we will definitely stay there again if we decide to do another train ride.
