Parking was terrible

Great location! Heated indoor/outdoor pool!!!!!!!! Hot tub was fabulous!! One suggestion for ALL beach front hotels... handicapped n senior citizens have trouble getting thru the soft sand. Desperately need some type of thick rubber matting at the end of the "bridge". A folding type,that can be taken up at the end of the day like the chairs n umbrellas n put away until the next day. I realize it will collect sand,so that's why I say a "folding mat". But thick enough to support guests with "wheels". N a RAMP instead of steps please. Seniors knees n hips don't work so good to be using steps.

I was really looking forward to the hot tub but it was out of order. Going up and down 3 flights of stairs was hard on me but that was on me. I knew no elevator. Very clean and excellent staff

It was great to be right on the beach and to be able to walk up to the boardwalk. A car or rideshare is needed to get around if you want to do amything else in Myrtle Beach though. Pools were clean and refreshing. And the air-conditioning was nice and cold...exactly what a place on the beach needs. Staff was incredibly helpful whenever we had a question.too.

Old budget motel right on the boardwalk. Great view. Patio door was very hard to open. Closet door fell off when we opened it. Room very run down looking. They were doing work in the room next door so we got to listen to sawing and hammering all day. Vending machine is out of order and product in it expired in 2023. Hardly any parking.

Firstly, there isn’t enough parking. If you drive an SUV or truck you’ll have a hard time parking. Second, the pool that was advertised was being worked on. Not once on their website or Expedia was that mentioned. I was really looking forward to it and was let down. Third, at 11:50 at night a fire alarm when off for over 5 mins. And the building wasn’t evacuated. The hot water and the pressure wasn’t good at all. It didn’t really last long at all.

I love the ocean view room my husband and I stayed in. Upon our arrival we were greeted by fireworks from the boardwalk. It was a lovely sight to see especially over the ocean. The beds were super soft and fluffy which made for a good night sleep. It was well worth every dollar. Oh we also loved the pool and jacuzzi. The only downfall is having only one elevator for the entire hotel.checkout was a lil frustrating getting back down.

Room was decent. Nice and clean beds were clean no bugs in room stayed for 3 nights on the 6th floor. Balcony beside the bed looks right at the ocean . Air conditioner was great set it on 60 temps outside high 81 low 67 . Front desk workers was very polite and helpful . Parking was very limited but they had extra across the street and I felt the area was safe. I will definitely like to come back in future. Pool was warm hot tub little rundown but was hot and jets working.

The hotel needs an update, the elevator was so sketchy we refused to use it, as we tried upon arrival and the doors got stuck. The reviews talked about an indoor pool, and there wasn’t one. The rooms were moldy and big roaches dead in the light and bathroom. Overall, we made it work for our last minute trip, bc we couldn’t get a refund.

Nasty rooms, mold on bed sheets, rotted wood and beams.

I'll start with the staff was excellent and very nice! Our balcony view was great and the bed was alright. I paid $60 a night and that being said you get what you pay for on the beach. The room itself was OK. It's in desperate need of a good DEEP clean. The whole room definitely needs some good maintenance too. Our toilet ran nonstop along with the shower dripping, both with bad rust stains. Furniture had "sticky" dust everywhere with hair stuck to it. A chair that had so many questionable stains it would do the room justice to go in the trash. The lock on the balcony was broken but we had pieces of wood to hold it close. Found a baby bottle under the bed. All stuff like that. All things that could easily be fixed and make it so much better! It wasn't bad enough we wanted to leave and had a good laugh about it. The bed was clean and I couldn't argue with the price.

Very outdated and dirty

Room was clean and housekeeping very good too, nice beach view.

Room has mold growing up the walls behind the couch. Kitchen lights did not work. Left after finding the mold. Front desk was very good about the refund as I would not stay in the hotel.

The view was great. The ckeanluness was less than average. Had few palmetto bugs in our room, found old trash, candy & underwear under chair cushion. Could use deep cleaning. The staff was excellent, cleaning staff was nice & friendly.

Horrible hotel!!! This is not a hotel, but a stable!!!! Pass it on the tenth road!! This is the most horrible room I have ever seen!! Dust and dirt everywhere, the mold in the bathroom is terrible and very old!!!!!! Although the staff is very friendly!!! The hotel needs renovation!!!

This place has 3 things going for it: nice staff, location, and price. If this is all that matters to you, you are good. Other than that I will say is: this is one of the dirtiest, most disgusting rooms I have had the misfortune of staying in. And I am not talking about a spot here or there that was missed by the housekeeping person. No, what this room shows is a systematic neglect of overall cleanliness that obviously has been happening for a long time. I am talking about layers of dust, dirt, and who knows what else everywhere. Behind the headboards, under the bed, in all corners of room, bathroom kitchenette. Stains on the floor, on the table. I made the mistake of looking under the bed. Absolutely filthy. There was some little item there from a previous guest. Here's a thought: if a hotel is going to have linoleum floors instead of carpets, know that when you skip cleaning it, it will show. Oh, and the glass sliding door was almost impossible to move open or closed. Whatever little wheels it used to have, they disintegrated long ago. It was just metal on metal on the tracks. The bed legit felt like a hammock, it was so caved in. But again...staff was nice, price great, and location fantastic. So it's up to the guest to decide what matters most to therm.

The Windsurfer was a mixed bag of an experience. The staff was great! They were very friendly and helpful, and did their best to fix the problems with the suite. However, the suite was... Not good. Black moldy stuff on the shower ceiling and couch cushions, the chair in the living room looked like someone had left a skid mark on it, the fridge was dirty, the toilet was cockeyed, and the list goes on. Also, the pool area was lacking as the hot tub had what looked like algae on the bottom and one of the ladders in the indoor pool wasn't fastened to the wall at the bottom and had a loose step. Only one ice machine on the property and it was in the office with a scoop (like a restaurant would have). Parking was a complete joke as the lot in front of the building was tiny with no turn around spots and the gravel lot across the street was also too small. The staff deserve five stars, but the building itself is a one star at best. My family and I won't be returning.

The Hotel was dirty. the fan in the bathroom was caked with grime. The tub was a stained yellow. So glad to get out of this hotel. We only needed it one night and it was a last minute reservation. The best part of this hotel is the front desk staff. they were friendly, professional, and helpful. The door would NOT open due to condensation causing the door to stick. Luckily, my friend could open it but I could not. Very inconvenient. Probably will not choose this place again...just being honest.

The ocean view was great. The bed was really hard and difficult to sleep on. If you want comfort don’t stay here..

I was very disappointed. I got a ocean front room to actually see the ocean. It was ocean front but on the 2nd floor where they're palm trees blocking your entire view. They would not move me. Also it smelled like sewer gas in the room/ bathroom half the time. It could've been alot better.

First walking in the room overall looked alright, minor cosmetic wall damages but went to lock my door and it wouldn’t lock. I had to open the door to get the lock started before it would actually lock. Then went to turn on my tv and there was a line through the tv like it was damaged, second night the screen wouldn’t even turn on but could hear the tv. I went to lay down and the headboard fell off the wall onto me, looks like it had been broken and just been propped back up.

Very nice ocean view

The staffs are very polite friendly and professional. However some of the staff in the room are old, for example the gust bed in our room was old and not looking good as well. They should periodically inspect their rooms to improve gust satisfaction. The ocean view of the room is excellent!

Everything was great, except the elevator. It was slow & hot. The bed was kinda hard too. The location & room were excellent. View was perfect. The staff was all very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our stay.

The view from the balcony is incredible! The location is walkable, and reasonably quiet. The staff was welcoming and check-in/check-out was easy. The water pressure was great for a shower, and the air conditioner worked well. All of the appliances worked well enough for our stay. On a negative note, the property needs a lot of maintenance work (peeling popcorn ceilings, unsecured smoke detector, water damage to molding and flooring in the bathroom, chips out of the tub, cracked toilet, rotting patio carpet, burn marks on the wobbly table, track issues with the sliding door, missing dresser knobs, bathroom fan did not work) and the cleanliness was below my standards (hair in the bathroom upon check-in, dark spots on the bedding). We still had fun, but we will not be returning to the Windsurfer.

In order to see the ocean you MUST be on 3rd floor. If not ocean few balcony is hidden with palm trees

It was clean, great service, ocean view sliding doors old and hard to operate. Shower, tub and shower head need updating, old, rusty and hard to operate.

The view was amazing, close to the sky wheel, shopping, food. Great location. The first room they gave us we couldn't see the ocean it was the 2nd floor. The staff was amazing and moved us to the 7th floor

The staff are so rude. My uncle paid with card and someone stole his card and he had to get a new one. We showed them the id and they were so rude. They could’ve said it in a nice way but they told us we couldn’t stay that they didn’t care. I have never met any rude staff until that day. I was in tears because we traveled all that way and they didn’t even try to help.

We actually had a amazing time at this property front desk staff was nice. The other guess were very friendly. The stay was nice only issue was one evening were out and room service came by and left out door on the 6th floor wide open with all our valuable's, purchases, personal items sitting in room. That was a bit disturbing and uncomfortable situation someone could of been in our room or items stolen very risky

The property was clean and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Perfect views and amazing value! Definitely recommend staying here and plan to come back! Just walk around town if you’re lucky enough to snatch a parking space since it is limited.

The only place I will stay in Myrtle Beach. The location and price can't be beat, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. Had a problem with the AC in my room and it was solved quickly and efficiently.

Against my better judgment I booked this hotel. Checked in and the lady at the desk acted like she really didn't want to be there. Get up to the room and was looking around, I turned on the light in the bathroom and roaches was crawling like the paid for the room. It was a spray bottle top left on the kitchen counter. The kitchen sink looked like someone had took a bath in it. We go right back the office and tell the clerk what was going on and she didn't act surprised at all. Told her i wanted a refund then she gets a nasty attitude. My worst experience in Myrtle Beach

We stayed in June and again in July. Only issue was a very rude housekeeper. Had July been the first stay we might not have went back. Definitely had a better experience in June.

It was great. Only issue I had was the door kept sticking so it was very hard to open. They had to re-clean the kitchen but then everything else was great. The view is great and the pools were great. Everyone was very friendly.

I loved how nice the staff was especially jared. He personally took care of me and my needs.

Hotel is located along Boardwalk & Beach front area. Lots of popular eateries. An attractions nearby out front.

We stayed 3 night in the 3-story building. The location is great—very close to the beach and everything. The building is a bit old and could use some updates. the sheets had some stains, and there was trash under the bed that should’ve been cleaned, just realized this on the last day. Luckily, we were out most of the time and just needed the room to shower and sleep. The staff was very friendly. Not sure how the other building is, but hopefully it’s in better shape.

It is centrally located to most attractions, beach, etc. It was remarkably quiet and relaxing. It served the purpose.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean, the view was fantastic from the 7th floor. And it was very convenient to the beach just a short 2 min walk!

The staff was very nice, we had an oceanfront with balcony. They don’t clean the rooms very well but for the price and actual time we spent in the room it was worth it. The area is pretty run down, many hotels are boarded up and not lit very well. About a mile away from the boardwalk.

Room was a little dated, needed a lite cleaning, but was comfortable and decent size, location to CCMF was perfect. Right on the beach, unobstructed views. Elevator was surprisingly quick, staff were so nice. Would stay there again. I guess the biggest concern and not really related to this hotel was the number of abandoned or closed hotels in the same area, but this also may have helped with the beach not being too crowded.

The room was rough, complaint worthy, but the staff and ocean-view was great! I looked for an affordable ocean view rental, and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The property needs updating. The pool & hot tub had a great temperature (warm) and the beach was clean. Good location too, next to the pier, Wicked Tuna, and a short walk to the boardwalk.

Ocean view and landscaping leading to the beach were nice. Close to Wicked Tuna - kitchenette with a apartment size refridgerator was a surprise and ice machines were convenient. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and toiletries. Would stay again.

You get what you pay for. Clean and outdated. Friendly staff and helpful, but the neighbors were noisy slamming doors at 2am. Good for the price! I wish they had some type of breakfast and coffee in the rooms.

While it was great to stay looking out at the beach, the place is a little outdated. No coffee even! but was just what we had hoped for. Right on the beach , listening to the surf, comfortable. Left the patio door open to soak it in! Everything we needed within walking distance.

This place is right at the end of the board walk. I love the boardwalk at Mytle beach. All rooms have mini kitchen and all are ocean front. Several parking lots and no fee for parking.

Check in was easy, front desk was super nice, excellent price and location, has indoor and outdoor pool as well as a hot tub. Close to amusement rides, restaurants, shops and the pier. Right on the boardwalk! Breathtaking ocean views. Full kitchen, nice vinyl plank floors, comfy beds, bathtub and good AC. Would 100% stay again.

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Made sure we were happy during our stay! Loved being able to walk to the pier and many restaurants. Every room has an ocean view.
