Great staff, very friendly. Check-in was a breeze, valet parking was quick and easy. Highly recommended.

The housekeeping staff was wonderful! We were disappointed that the pool was out of service during the entirety of our stay. Overall, very nice facility!

Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, the pool was out of order. There was a sign on the door stating we could use the pool at the hotel across the street.

Front desk lady was extremely nice and inviting, which was very pleasant. Parking at the public parking lot was horrendous (broken pay stations) you’re much better off paying for the hotel valet for an extra $10 ($54/night). The hotel holds an extra $200, that was unexpected, when you arrive at check in, for any additional room services, which you get back, when you check out.. except for the “destination fee” for $30. You will get back $170 out of the $200 that they hold, which I find outrageous. I myself, being a hotel engineer for Maintenance, I checked everything.. rooms are very small, beds are extremely comfortable, staff is exceptionally nice, very nice mini fridge. Only one downside that I noticed that there was food on the ceiling (housekeeping needs to write up a maintenance slip because the ceilings are 12ft high) and of course, the extras that they hit you with. Overall, the staff was awesome, housekeeping was great, rooms are very small, BeautyRest Hotel Series mattress and pillows are extremely comfortable. Very nice Brazilian restaurant off of the lobby, as well a bar in the lobby with a pool table, and a nice selection of quick breakfast sandwich’s and beverages on the go. $200+ for room, $200 for the hold (get back $170), $50 for parking/night. I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Internet service was horrific. Took over 40 min to connect my laptop

I was told before booking that I’d be able to connect my gaming system and laptop to the internet during my stay. That was not the case. When I arrived, I couldn’t connect to the internet in my room. I was moved to another room, but the same issue happened again. Three different IT techs came to try and fix the issue but couldn’t get anything working. After repeated complaints, I was finally put in touch with a manager—only to be told that gaming systems and laptops cannot be connected to the internet at this hotel. That directly contradicts what I was told before booking. This was a complete waste of my time. I had to leave and stay at another hotel just to do what I needed to do. Your hotel caused me unnecessary inconvenience and disrupted my business. I should not be charged for a stay where the hotel failed to provide basic promised services. If your hotel cannot support internet access for laptops or gaming systems, that needs to be made clear from the start. I would not have booked with you had I known the truth. You broke the agreement, not me.

The staff were amazing at this hotel. However, the overall stay and experience of the hotel did not match the price. The hotel was dark and not as well kept/clean (it didn’t live up to the photos). Additionally, the pool was closed. We were offered access to a pool in a hotel across the street, but it had murky water. We also had to move rooms due to uncleanliness and broken fixtures. The staff were wonderful in accommodating us, but I still didn’t feel fully comfortable in the new room (wasn’t as clean as other Marriott affiliates, bed wasn’t very comfortable, there was a bug on the sheets, etc.). I ended the stay and was charged for something I didn’t order. So, it was an all-around disappointing and unfortunate experience.

Everything was great, from check in to check out! I highly recommend this hotel. We went for a one night stay,. The pool was a little small but heated, with a floating basketball hoop. The pool area, like the rest of the hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Walls are thin, could hear room next to me have a convo. My room wasn’t cleaned properly, trash was left behind and bathroom floor was dirty.

Place was nice, but in my room it was not cleaned, the bed was a mess when we talked in and there was a stain above the headboard I had to clean off my self, which was disgusting.

We were given keys to someone else’s room at check in. When we walked in the room was full of someone else’s stuff. When we got to the room that was ours; the shower was gross, the hot water for the shower did now work, pillows were not comfy.

Great location. Loved the convention center across the street and the park. The sheets on the bed did not fit. Had to remaje the bed everyday due to sheets not fitting. Holes in bedding that werent seen until the end of stay.

Emanuel at the front desk is absolutely amazing! Superb customer service skills!! Rooms are not thoroughly clean, a LOT of dust. Hotel needs an upgrade, ripped wallpaper, ripped shades, mold around sink, refrigerator barely works

Our roomwas a huge disappointment. The entire carpet was soaked. The toilet was clogged. Housekeeping walked in the room the next day while we were getting ready, despite the Do Not Disturb sign. We had to go looking for toilet paper

We did not have any internet access even though we signed in to the hotel's Wi-Fi. The rooms were rather small but it was sufficient for us at the time.

Staff was nice. Room was big but just OK. Didn’t have a comfortable chair to sit in. A little beat up, but decent value for the area.

The bedding was nice and the bed comfortable. The shower was hot but lacked pressure. There was no place in the shower to put anything whatsoever of your own - no soap dish, no shelf, absolutely nowhere to put even a razor. There was but one towel hook in the room. The towels (just two) were thin and stiff. A nice, quiet mini-fridge was available. The room was clean and astoundingly quiet but offered virtually no furniture. There was a desk and one desk chair - that's it. The (totally) room-darkening shades could be either open or closed. There was no possibility for privacy with diffused light. There were no cheesy pictures on the walls, so there's that. "Spartan" seems to be the best single word to describe the room. The surrounding area is industrial. There are not many good restaurants or bars within a short walking distance, and it's a long walk to a less industrial area. There is an expensive Brazilian Steakhouse in the hotel. We didn't eat there. We instead walked the distance to Broadway and found a fun bar and later on, a tremendous Italian restaurant where we enjoyed one of the best meals we've ever had in Boston. The convention center was just across the street and easy to get to. The $50.00 valet parking was efficient and well managed. The hotel staff members were all helpful and very friendly. We stayed to attend an event at the convention center. We'd do so again knowing what to expect, but the price would have to be right and probably less than we paid.

Aloft is in a very good location downtown and 15 minutes or so from most desirable attractions; Fenway a bit farther but very doable by UBER. Hotel staff super friendly, clean, modern workout room and overall good vibe. Room leans a little toward the boutique side. Again, clean and comfortable but smaller- just so you don’t get your hopes up when, like us, you choose what you think is a larger room. Stay here for sure and it’ll be money well spent.

AC horrible noise!

The room was comfortable and beds were nice. It was small so it’s a great place to stay if you don’t plan on being in the room much.

The bed was comfortable. We founf the place to be very dark..hallways, rooms. Also our HVAC was so loud it woke us up everytime it went on

Pros: Our room was decent. The beds were comfortable. The view of the city was good. Staff was very nice. Con: The lights in the room were strange. Multiple lights on when you only need one. The bathroom/toilet area needs to have a shelf also the walk in shower also had no shelf. Granted they provided the shampoo, conditioner & body wash but if you opt to use your own, there’s no where to put it except the floor. The AC motor (not the fan)was loud! Very loud. And the room temp was inconsistent. The option for a grab&go breakfast was also weird. The food options were minimal. we had a purchased a breakfast each day & could use it throughout the day not only for breakfast. The staff were a bit confused on that tho. But anyway you had to order say a breakfast sandwich & then go the desk to “pay” which meant charge to the room, then they would deduct that amount from the final bill. Then there was a daily credit to be used at the bar, or the breakfast station. It was all very confusing. Their sister property across the street seemed a bit more casual.

The staff was friendly and helpful--the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, what I didn't like can't be changed now. The walls were so flimsy that the screaming children in the room next to me could be heard at all hours (I was in Room 516.) That made the experience more like staying at an expensive motel. For that reason I would probably not use Aloft again.

We did not have body soap in our bathroom when asked they said they would bring it up but did not. I ended up buying my own.

Called to report late arrival and was told that was fine. Arrived and were told they overbooked. It was very late the front desk did not give directions or assistance just a piece of paper saying they would cover our stay for 1 night at an other location. Front desk told us the morning shift does better with dealing with this. Didn’t give us information on whither we could be there the rest of their stay. When refund would be available etc. it was a night mare. The hotel their forwarded us to also charged us for the night. I am out $400 waiting for refunds all funds tied up and communication has been terrible. waiting for hotels.com to answer too

My only issue which was an inconvenience and embarrassing was the gentleman at the desk attempted to charge me for the room twice after it was already paid. My card kept declining and I felt uncomfortable.

The staff are excellent. Friendly, efficient and professional. We would definitely stay again.

They couldn’t check us in for 20 min while deafening karaoke blared in the lobby

When we arrived they couldn’t find us on the database. But a staff member by the name of David took the time to find out what happen and took care of our needs. The whole staff was very professional and kind.

I had an issue with my reservation that was to be 4 days but somehow only reserved for one day upon arrival. The front desk staff were rude and not helpful trying to rebook for the remainder of my stay. After flying across the country for work, it was disappointing their level of professionalism and lack of responsiveness to try and assist me. I will not book at their hotels again.

Ryan, Rae, and Chanta were nice, pleasant, and personable from the time we stepped into the building! They went above and beyond their jobs making sure that our accommodations were met. . . . . I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Boston!

We stayed at the property - 4 room to attend a graduation at the Convention Center. Great location for access to that area however, location is not in the central hub of Boston. No worries though because it's easy to get around via Uber or Lyft. The best reason to stay here is the staff - every team member is so friendly and accommodating! Nice little bar on property and decent breakfast options available. Would recommend if you are looking in the Seaport area.

Check-in quick & easy. Check-out was as well, but the person was more interested in her phone rather than an issue I was raising and nothing was offered…not even an I’m sorry. Area is very industrial being in the seaport district, so it’s a fair hike to pretty much anything food or otherwise. Did not see the bar open the entirety of my stay and I didn’t use the pool or gym, so I cannot comment. Restaurant also on premise, but I was there for only one day, so I didn’t get to try it, but you are offered a free dessert on check-in if you do go. Valet…valet was pricey, but parking is a premium, so it was worth it and ALL the guys were polite and kind! They’re also open 24 hours which is a bonus for people arriving late or leaving early! All-in-all, it was a decent place for my first ever visit to Boston!

location wasn't bad but was a little far from areas of interest. perfect from the airport though.

Loved this hotel. It was walking distance to the water and right across from the cutest park. Food and drinks at the bar were very good!

We stayed for my son’s 10th birthday and had a wonderful time. They were so friendly and put us in a higher floor so we could Have a better view! The pool was great and clean, location was convenient, overall great stay and would definitely come back!

I had a great stay at aloft seaport. The check in people were friendly and accommodating. Got to check in early. Room was small but clean. They had someone playing music on Saturday evening. Restaurant didn’t have a big selection but it was good. There is a resort fee but you get $15 credit each day for food or beverages. Only drawback is the distance from the city or the T station.

They need to have breakfast buffet and reasonable lunch menu. The restaurant they provided is very expensive and they need to view their prices. I could of been washing dishes my bill was expensive.

Modern hotel right across from the Lawn on D. Rooms were well done and they provided great shampoo and soap products. We didn’t love the breakfast and the bar area had spilled drinks on the chairs. Also wished there was a self park option instead of valet only, but I understand in the area it might night be an option. Overall would probably stay again.
