Great staff. Breakfast was also very good. The hot tub jets didn't all work which was sad. And the ice machine on my floor was broken. Overall it was an OK experience.

Basic Hotel. Kids enjoyed the breakfas and had alot of fun in pool/ hotub. But Pool area is very slippery. Be careful.

Everything was satisfactory except one of the reasons I picked this hotel was for the pool and it was closed 😕

The whole reason I booked was that a hot tub was advertised and the hot tub was cemented over. Active construction as well.

I've always had good experiences with Holiday Inn Express, and this was no different. Room was clean, parking lot was spacious, and the breakfast was good.

Very pleased with our choice! The building and rooms are clean and well maintained. The proximity to Michigan Stadium is perfect. They even offer a shuttle service to the games. We did not use this service but it is a great extra perk!

This property was clean and really good staff. Plenty of parking, safe and quiet. Room was spacious and clean.

Great stay! Besides for the pool needing a good cleaning it was nice. The floor of the pool was Slimy and the tile around the pool was green. Other than that breakfast was top notch and the rooms were nice!

Bathrooms could be cleaner

The staff that work at the front desk seem to work hard and do their best. We were impressed with their efforts. However, the room we stayed in was extremely outdated and stains were everywhere. There were also stains all over the carpets throughout the hallways and elevators of the hotel. The bathroom in our room was not clean. A main light was not working at all so they switched us to another room but the review still applies, if not more so. The front desk did mention that they are in the process of their "ten year renovation" (didn't see any signs of this other than maybe the lobby), and the room we were in looked like it hadn't been renovated in over twenty years. Furthermore, we did not have a smart TV so there was no movie watching or streaming at all! Just a lame channel lineup with a terrible picture. We were not expecting this and between that and our room, it felt like we stepped back in time. Had we known, we would not have rented at this hotel because we were two moms on a girls' trip with our middle school and high school age daughters. Watching a movie was part of the planned fun! We also opted out of using the pool. It did not look clean or up to date. Breakfast was probably the best value there. I'm sorry to have to give a negative review, but until this hotel is renovated I cannot recommend it.

Parking lot and road leading to hotel was not well lit. Short staffed and could not get anyone to answer front desk phone for some time. Hair in the shower.

Could be cleaner. Hallway and elevator carpets needed vacuuming. Duvet cover was inside out. There was paper under the bathroom counter and dust that looked like plaster dust. There was dust around the lamp on the table by the tv. Shower could use an update. A lot of $ for that room. Expected more. Give up on the omelets—pitiful.

We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend in July. The hotel was extremely noisy. We could hear every sound above us. It seemed a little less clean than other holiday inn's I've stayed at. For one, the floor by the elevator was constantly wet which was strange. And I noticed the doors and dresser drawers in the room had not been wiped down in a while and fingerprints could be seen. Overall it was a decent stay.

I didn't like finding a sock in the closet.

We had a few issues during our two nights. The bathroom was dirty and the tub had hairs in it. The bathroom knob was falling off the door. The TV was broken. It was loud in the building. We could clearly hear our neighbors in the next room and the folks upstairs sounded like they were building a railroad with all the banging. The “free” breakfast was awful. Cold eggs and sausage. The sausage patties were a disgusting grey color that looked inedible. We will not be staying there again. Oh nearly forgot the thermostat had a motion sensor on it that would essentially turn the heat or air off if nobody moved in front of the thermostat after period of time so you constantly had to get up and wave your hand in front of it to get the heat or air to turn on.

Rooms were nice & clean, however walls seem thin . At about 1am could hear people & kids talking & kids running down hallways. Other than that good.

Good hotel near Ann Arbor. Suite has 2 good size rooms but only one bathroom which is inconvenient for 4-5 people

The room was so dark you could not read a book without opening the window shades, but we were on the ground floor where anyone can look in. It was frustrating not to have bright light when working at the desk or doing paperwork or even sitting in the chair that had a light fixture just over my head that gave off a yellow glow. It was like living in a cave. I would walk into the entry way or the bathroom to read properly. The property was nice, the bed was comfortable, the people were nice, location was great. Put in a central light so you can see to pack your bags!!

Newly renovated bathrooms. Shower sliding doors and long, higher counter top. Rooms are very limited with light. We use our head lamps to read at night. Noisy slamming of back door that people use a lot, and a lot of truck noise in parking lot. Great breakfast (even pancakes!) and friendly and helpful staff.

Staff was very courteous and checked up on us to make sure everything was good. Rooms were clean. The only downfall was our mattress. It was broken down and needed replaced. Plenty of towels and toiletries available in our room. Lots of good lighting in the room, as well.

Large nice room for the price.

We had a nice stay, only reason why I don’t give 5 stars is because of the shower design, water spills all over the floor of the bathroom unless you shove some towels in there

Very clean, modern facility. It was quiet and close to dining options. We enjoyed our room. My only suggestion would be to add microwaves in the rooms for convenience.

Recently visited for a few nights, the staff who helped with the food and housekeeping were more pleasant than the one front desk individual. (I don’t normally complain about stuff like that). There were mice outside the hotel, people and children were stomping around and screaming, and I saw several bugs (mosquitoes and a stink bug) in the room.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is relatively new so is still very clean. I can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was so friendly from front desk to housekeeping. My husband got sick and called for help from housekeeping. They showed up quickly and cleaned everything very well. When i stopped at the front desk later in the day, the front desk clerk remembered me and asked if housekeeping had helped in a timely manner. The breakfast was average but very adequate. We will definitely stay here again when we're in town.

Nice property. The front desk staff (including overnight manager) was extraordinarily helpful.

It is not super close to Ann Arbor but close enough. A little more $$ than it is worth but it seems like game nights will be the same anywhere. Definitely a good alternative.

Staff was friendly. The room could have been cleaner. Bathroom wasn't as clean it should be. The drawers of dresser and entertainment center were not wiped out. Also, the juice machine and pancake machine weren't working during breakfast. The breakfast area wasn't kept cleaned up. Food spilled on counter and floor. Cups and bowls all over.

The breakfast was very plain and only mashed eggs, thin pancakes when working and sausages that seemed a bit undercooked. The staff however were very pleasant and helpful.

Not very good value but comfortable and quiet. Cheap cutlery and paper plates in the restaurant was a bit dismal.
