From the time I arrived on Friday until on Sunday, the staff have been very helpful .. The amenities were basic, but that is all I needed for my stay .. The only negatives that were a bummer was the fact that the ice machine was broken & the tv size needs to be upgraded .. Other then those marks, I would stay again in The Deer Park Motel in the future.

This is a very basic motel, no bells or whistles. Fairly clean and comfortable, but old and not updated. Located off a strip mall in suburban Long Island. No working ice machine, no coffee in the rooms or lobby. Give only two pillows for two adults and two small towels. Nothing special but cheaper than other local alternatives. If you only need a place to lay your head for a night, this will do.

From the toilet that doesn’t flush and giving us one towel for four people and had to ask for toilet paper the tv is as small as a tablet one bed is bigger then the other and you can feel the metal bars when you sit or lay on the bed its uncomfortable no ice available or soda when I went to the candy machine they had to open it up with the key.

Nice, clean room! Bedspread a little tattered, but all room appliances present and working. Quiet heat unit! Front desk provided a room upgrade free! No coffee, breakfast, or hair dryer. Decent value and quality. We were satisfied.

No amenities other than 2 very thin small soaps - good for 1 hand wash. 1 towel & 1 face cloth per person, which were the lowest quality i have ever seen in any hotel / motel. The tv was a little bigger than a computer screen size. The sink was outside of the bathroom. 2 stars property. The 2 stars because it was clean, otherwise would rate it a 1 star.

This motel is conveniently located to many of the attractions that are around Deer Park and the Commack area. It's clean enough, but the property is not especially well maintained, and my interactions with the owner and staff were pleasant enough. There's plenty of restaurants, stores, and easily walkable and accessible facilities in the area of this motel, which is a plus. Is this a luxury motel with pool, spa, beautifully decorated rooms? Not by a long shot. It's a place to hang your hat if you're in the area, and not looking to spend a lot of money on lodging.

I had to pay up front for a 3-day stay. Not just give a card number to hold, but I paid for 3 nights BEFORE I got a key. It was quiet at night, despite adjacent restaurant. Location was somewhat central to my needs, but neighborhood was not desirable. Staff were very abrupt. I was called 10 min before checkout to remind me and although I was ready to go, there were clearly lots of open rooms and no housekeeping in sight so I felt I was being pushed out for no reason. No coffee machine.

The maids did a good job considering what they have to work with. The carpet is dirty, I walked around barefoot in the room, my feet picked up the dirt from the carpet. You can see in the picture the dirt coming off my feet in the shower. I asked the maids about the hot water or lack of. They turned on the sink and after a few minutes the water warmed up. The shower never got hot. The next day i asked the maids again, they let the shower run for 15-20 minutes and it was warm at best. I jumped in the shower that night after letting the water run for 20 minutes and it was cold water. Which was OK because i had been out in the sun and heat all day. The refrigerator was on an end table, i had to put the 20 inch TV on the microwave to be able to see it laying in bed. The latch on the door was only half there, the deadbolt was loose. This was without a doubt the worst place i have stayed in 45 years of travel. No other rooms were available to switch and the other hotels were sold out due to the Ryder Cup. And for the low price of around $180/night. Stay here only if you dont want to sleep in your car. I almost forgot to mention the black mold on the tile in the shower and the toilet didnt flush completely.

This motel is incredibly run down and dirty. Everything in the room was sticky and gross. The TV was super small and almost falling apart. The phone didn't even work, it had no dial tone so you couldn't even call the front desk. The only redeeming quality was the bed, I did sleep well

Please don’t ever go to this place. That was the worse experience I’ve ever had. The man behind the desk was So rude. Due to an emergency we had no more option than stay for the night. The room was disgusting dirty, very unsafe. The door knob lock didn’t even work. There was no toilet paper in the room. No shampoo, the rugs were filthy and the sheets were dirty. The room smelled like a big ash tray. The list goes on… The only good thing I can state is the moment we left that place.

Had to buy my own sheets and blanket because even though the linen looked clean it was old. The carpet was dirty, the furniture was extremely old and in poor condition. The walls looked disgusting and the room had the old drop ceiling that was stained everywhere with water damage. The bathroom door was dirty and the hinges were full of rust. Left early to find a better motel.

While not dirty, per se, the room has certainly seen better days. The pillows, and curtains, were wafer thin. The room needs paint, and the furniture, such as it is, is rickety and old. The TV is barely 14". And, im pretty sure hookers were working out of the room above mine.

From the rude check in experience I received to the old beds it looks like someone lived in here. Also I stayed for two nights and when we were gone housekeeping came and threw out our food and didn’t even make the bed or clean the room. This was definitely not worth the price. Worst experience ever and I highly Recommend Not to come here.

The check in was terrible. The person at the front at first said they couldn’t find the reservation, they took forever and they weren’t very friendly. The room was dirty and the beds were rock hard. All night it was very noisy and people banging on doors Also the toilet leaked all night. The TV was so small it was like looking at a computer screen.

I had to pay up front for a 3-day stay. Not just give a card number to hold, but I paid for 3 nights BEFORE I got a key. It was quiet at night, despite adjacent restaurant. Location was somewhat central to my needs, but neighborhood was not desirable. Staff were very abrupt. I was called 10 min before checkout to remind me and although I was ready to go, there were clearly lots of open rooms and no housekeeping in sight so I felt I was being pushed out for no reason. No coffee machine.

This is a very basic motel, no bells or whistles. Fairly clean and comfortable, but old and not updated. Located off a strip mall in suburban Long Island. No working ice machine, no coffee in the rooms or lobby. Give only two pillows for two adults and two small towels. Nothing special but cheaper than other local alternatives. Nice, clean room! Bedspread a little tattered, but all room appliances present and working. Quiet heat unit! Front desk provided a room upgrade free! No coffee, breakfast, or hair dryer. Decent value and quality. We were satisfied.

Property was cheesy. Clean but of poor quality. No amenities other than 2 very thin small soaps - good for 1 hand wash. 1 towel & 1 face cloth per person, which were the lowest quality i have ever seen in any hotel / motel. The tv was a little bigger than a computer screen size. The sink was outside of the bathroom. 2 stars property. The 2 stars because it was clean, otherwise would rate it a 1 star.

Reception staff was looking tired and lost greeting Smile, old refrigerator placed on top of side table. No essentials except petty soaps provided. No presentation of towels, microwave was not maintained, no Espresso machine and Bed was not comfortable at all. It just provoked us to leave before the night started

Terrible room. Paint peeling on the walls. It was suppose to be a non smoking but it smelled like urine. And mold. No ice. Asked the office and they said it was broken. No shampoo. A dump.

It was passable for what I needed, a bed for the night. The bed was comfortable, pillows not so much. Room appeared very old, bathroom door had a hole in it. No light by the bed and an only one outlet .
