The hotel had very friendly, kind staff, a nice breakfast and area to eat, free parking, and was very conveniently located. We were disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance and the room was only semi-clean. There was dirt/something brown on one of the pillows, the floor was stained, and the area around the trashcan had bits of trash all around the outside. I would stay again if the room hadn’t been so dirty.

The room is extremely clean, staff is very friendly, free parking with parking garage across the street and breakfast included. The room rates are very reasonable. Second stay and would definitely stay again.

The staff members were really great. We had a family member in a wheelchair and they were so accommodating. The bed was really really comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I was surprised. The area is very safe and the parking garage is right across the street. I would highly recommend this place as it is cheaper than the Marriott and located right across the street. We also had our dog with us and they were very, very nice to our dog. Staff was wonderful.

Everything about this hotel was great, from the staff, to the room attendants, to the great complimentary breakfast. Even when the power was out, not the hotels fault, the whole area arpund the university was out, the staff provided ice water and did the best they could to make us comfortable. The room was clean, bathroom was bery clean and spacious. It is very close to the University and we could walk everywhere we needed to go. Parking is right across the street, very accessible. Will definitely stay here whenever we go to ISU.

The evening we checked in, we found hair and crumbs in the sheets. I went to the lobby for an extra set of sheets as it was 9:30pm. When I went up to remake the bed, we then found a pair of men’s underwear in the sheets. Needless to say, we asked for another room. We will never stay there again. I had to resubmit this review to remove the photo of the said underwear. Unfortunate that I cannot attach an image of what my daughter and I were subjected to.

The lobby smelled terrible. It continued all the way up to our floor. Luckily our room didn't have it. Also didnt like that we had to park in a lot accross the street. Since we came in at night time it felt a little sketchy, inconvenient, and not handicap friendly. The staff were great, but you could tell that they were working with a dated facility.

The room had a sofa in it with stains on it. The bathroom had a bug behind the door and there was a couple of bugs on the floor behind the entryway to the room. There was no valet and I had take a cart out to my car and load my luggage on the cart, maneuver it upstairs on the elevator and then return the cart downstairs and then park my car across the street at the Amtrak station. I explained that I had 3 broken ribs but that didn't matter. I asked the desk clerk if there was a pool and she said no even though the next morning I was told by that desk clerk that yes they did have one. Google Maps also doesn't take you to this location, it's at the opposite end of the street. I had to walk to Jimmy John's for a sandwich for supper because there was no food on site. Very disappointed for the price they charge.

Based on the Hotels.com rating of "Wonderful" I had very high expections for this property. I appreciated the free garage parking across the street. However, the room was not exceptional as I would expect of a Hyatt property. The black-out roller shade was broken and stuck in the up position. The free breakfast was nice. And in a pinch, one evening I was hoping for a quick meal, which the Hotel advertised throughout. However, b/c there was no bartender available that afternoon/evening, I was not able to get anything that evening. The local surrounding options were just to my likeing or those that were closed at 8pm???

We have stayed here in the past and liked it. This time not so much. The refrigerator in our room did not work at all. We had little kids and needed it for their milk, yogurt etc .Called the front front desk and they said they could do nothing for us except let us bring our perishables downstairs. We ended up filling up bags of ice to keep our things cold. Fryer was broken downstairs. No food except pizza or a burger and our toilet seat was wobbly and broken. We'll go across the street next time

This is more about a staff member. Upon arrival I ask the desk clerk where I could park. Was told across the street in a parking garage (no problem). I parked the car and seen a sign on how to download the app and enter a zone number and how many days I would be there. Cost was $16.00. Went back to the hotel and told same staff member I needed to have shuttle service in the morning to the airport. Was told I had to schedule 24 hrs in advance. Nothing on website stated this. That was a major perk of me staying there. The car that I parked was not mine. So needless to say I had to get an Uber for $18.00 to the airport. Upon speaking to another staff member I found out that I did not have to pay for the parking garage because the plate number was put into the computer at check in. So in total I paid $34.00 that was completely unnecessary. The parking thing should have been told to me the instant I asked where to park. As for the shuttle I was asking 12 hrs in advance again nothing on the website about a 24 hr notice. Communication is KEY.

After my son and I checked out I realized I had left my earrings and ring in the room. I went back to the property and the lady in charge of housekeeping let me back in my room and was searching with me. My son realized that he had grabbed something off the dresser and my jewelry went flying. The employee was on her hands and knees searching with me. She called the maintenance guy and he even moved the furniture. They told me I could look as long as I wanted. We found my earrings but no luck on my ring. Shortly after I left I received a phone call that they had found my ring. I’m so impressed with their customer service and the kindness they showed. I wish I remembered the ladies name that helped me because she was great! I can’t thank her enough!

The staff was friendly and kind especially at the front desk! I was a little bit late for breakfast but the kitchen staff allowed me to grab a plate before they started to clean up which was much appreciated! Thank you for that. I was happy with the cleanliness of my room. I thought it was a very pretty touch of the room divider or whatever it was in the room that’s in between the sofa and bed that kinda separates the two spaces. I would definitely stay at this location again and recommend it to others.

The front staff was super nice. They had a nice breakfast buffet. The bartender was nowhere to be found. The poor front desk staff had to always track them down. That was the only downside. A few guests approached the bar and eventually left because there was never a bartender. We too gave up.

This was a great place to both have a quiet space and enjoy the ISU campus-a perfect mix. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The included parking was clutch. All in all, a great value!

So close to campus and in the adorable uptown Normal area. You absolutely can't go wrong with this hotel. It's gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and the staff are helpful and polite.

Building was conveniently located by ISU. Food options were ok. Bacon was not labeled but it was not true bacon, maybe turkey bacon. Bacon should have been marked. Yogurt was not marked either, should have been. I was looking for Greek yogurt.

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and it’s always a lovely stay. The room and staff did not disappoint however the breakfast buffet was underwhelming this time unfortunately with potatoes and French toast sticks being the only option with no protein being provided. I’ll still stay here again and hope this was a one off experience.

We checked in September 9/10/2026. The person working the front desk was fabulous. Cannot speak enough high praises for the level of service given above and beyond!!!! the room was clean however, when we checked in, we were told there would be a bar and restaurant open for patrons. Neither were open, which goes into the front desk a person going above and beyond this person worth the bar and also prepared us a meal at the restaurant because the person who was supposed to work or people called in sick. Kudos to this person above and beyond. So here we are the next morning going to catch a train on Amtrak across the street which is why we stayed here. Starbucks was completely closed, which was supposed to open at 6 AM and we were supposed to have a free breakfast and the restaurant was not open which was supposed to be open prior to us going I believe at 6:30. I feel we were duped a little bit with the amenities I promised and paid for and would like a refund.

Clean room, staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was in a parking garage across the street from the hotel. It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Uptown Normal and ISU. The Starbucks located right around the corner from the front desk was extremely convenient.
