The staff is very friendly. We traveled with our dog & the room was convenient for trips outside. It was a designated dog room, so the carpet was trashed, but overall clean. Comfortable bed. The only negative is when I booked online there was no mention of the additional $25 per night for our dog and nowhere to include the information that I had a dog. I would stay at Cardinal Inn again.

Wi-fi worked well. Bed reasonably comfortable. Temperature control OK—room pleasantly cool on a 90° day, with a west-facing window. Nice high shower head with a reasonably strong flow. Good lighting for working at desk and for reading in bed. Friendly and courteous staff. Not so great: Some wall outlets controlled by switch near door, so I had to make sure I didn't accidentally turn off the outlet into which my laptop was plugged and drain the battery. Also, the three pillows were all fairly thin, so it was hard to sit up and read in bed. I'm giving the place five stars out of five, but with a finer scale, I'd give it 9/10, mostly because of the pillows. Provide a variety, since some guests will like thin flexible pillows and some will want fat firm ones?

Very nice place to stay, excellent breakfast with a wide variety. Only thing I didn’t like was cleaning person opening door on my last day at 930 in the morning when check out is at 11. Should at least wait till after checkout time. Otherwise the stay was perfect.

I stayed over due to a snow storm. The staff were very kind and helpful. kudos to the maintenance man for shoveling my car out without hesitation. I really appreciated his willingness/offer to hand shovel in the 3 degree weather. Thank you !!!!

We were just passing through on our way home and we spent one night. We got in late and left a mid morning so there isn’t much to report although the place seemed clean and comfortable as well as our room was very nice. I picked Albion as a stop over due to its location on our route home, so I don’t know much about the town or what it has to offer. But the Cardinal Inn is a very nice facility and I would stay again if I were ever in the area.

Most of the staff was wonderful. We stayed in a newer part of the hotel and the bathroom was wonderful. Good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was good. Overall was nice.

We rented 2 rooms for 1 night. They were both clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was good (egg bites, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, pastries, cereal, yogurt.) The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if in the area!
