Mission Bay Motel

This place is in a great location for walking to many restaurants, bars and the beach. If you are going to San Diego to hang out in a hotel / motel room, this is not your place. You cannot beat the price and location.

Extra bon séjour motel bien placé

This place is awful and nothing like the photos. It is noisy, does not have any amenities like basic things like a fridge, hairdryer etc. Toilet overflowed, shower barely worked, no wifi, asked for an extra towel and got a bath mat. It is so noisy that you can’t keep a window open but no air conditioning.

Old rooms in need of an update, which is usually not an issue, however, there is no wi-fi available on the property. There are no hairdryers in the room or on the property. Room #225 had a small kitchenette, which is awesome, but the hot water from the sink next to the electric stove top in room leaked into the stove (!). Comforter had black stain. Staff was apologetic for the lack of what are pretty typical amenities even for a budget motel.
