Hamilton Henry Parkes Motor Inn

Very happy with our stay. The guy on reception was super friendly and the room was really comfortable. Our beds were great and our family room was spacious.

The room is situated upstairs in an enclosed corridor with no direct window or access to outside . The room is dated and musty - with a plug in air freshener which are known fire hazards - to mask the smell. It was so overwhelming I had to unplug it. The toilet room - which is separate to the shower room at other end of room - was not clean. The hairdryer provided was covered in a sticky substance and unusable. Gross. The bed had zero support and the pillows need to be replaced . I highly doubt this room is legal. It was claustrophobic and required the air con to be running all night as there was no way to lick the window / no security screen and fronting shared internal corridor - There is no ability to lock the door internally - assuming the door locks automatically is not ok. A woeful and incredibly stressful overnight stay.

The room was very clean and quiet and within walking distance to town.
