This cabin/caravan park is right by the beach with shady sites, good amenities, pool and water park for the kids.There is even a food truck open for dinner - tacos, burgers and the like. It was delightful sitting on the porch in the morning watching the lizards running around. Later on it was all kids running around. Emerald beach itself has some eating and coffee options, Moonee beach up the road has a big supermarket. Our cabin was small but had a full size fridge, gas hotplate, microwave and sufficient utensils/crockery. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom functional, shower was hot. All in all a great stay

The overall appearance of the park was very tired and in need of a freshen up. The cabin was very clean and very well equipped. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and the fact that there were potholes everywhere made it difficult to get around. The camp kitchens were very clean and well equipped.

Looks like a great caravan park, unfortunately during our stay the pool and kids splash park were both closed, however it looks like it would be great fun when open. We would stay again.

Stayed 7 days with my family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids) Great facilities for the kids with the water park, jumping pillow, kids club room. Would love to see a bigger pool put in place but the current one sufficed. Beach in walking distance. Friendly service from the staff. Spacious room & clean. Would definitely be back again!

This was our first holiday staying with the Discovery Parks brand off properties. We stayed at Byron Bay and then Coffs Harbour. I loved how child friendly it was. Our cabin was lovely and clean. Comfortable main bed. The bunk beds are a little hard but my son hoped into my bed instead. Helpful staff when my son got his aeroplane stuck on a cabin roof! Clean BBQs. The beach track is so close. Would definitely stay again. Also loved how everyone respected the 5km speed limit inside the park so kids could scooter around safely.

The park overall was very nice well kept staff were friendly kids enjoyed pool but disappointed I didn’t know about the water park being closed when I booked ..probably would have preferred a newer cabin for the price I paid beautiful around the park beach & walks I enjoyed

Yes, everything was just perfect. Cabin was very clean and it was good having very good quality toiletries supplied. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Excellent park with good safe amenities of children's pool and playground for my 2 year old grandchild. Would highly recommend for families, just a shame we weren't able to stay to stay longer.

The kids and i loved our stay! Cabin was right at the beach access path. Had a lovely inlet to swim with the littles as well as the surf beach. Park was great for the kids, waterpark (although too cold at the time to use), jumping pillow, playground and a nice pool which was partially heated. Was all we could need for our 3 night stay. Cabin was lovely and cosy. We will definitely return

The park is in a lovely setting. We have returned here a couple of times and will certainly do so again. Although the cabin was well cleaned there was still an unpleasant odour in the lounge area.

Overall the park seems very run down, with minimal maintenance and cleaning. Interior of our “superior” cabin very basic but tidy, exterior of our cabin very rundown and looks mouldy. A simple pressure clean and deep clean inside would make the cabins more appealing. Gardens surrounding the cabins not maintained and very overgrown. One afternoon there was a snake in the pool area, management appeared up close the pool but no other steps were taken to remove said snake.

Had the superior cabin and it was excellent. Cabin was clean and new. Rainwater shower head is a winner. Kangaroos were there to welcome us. Great park facilities and brilliant location.

This was the first time trying out accommodation in Emerald Beach and it did not disappoint! Staff were friendly and welcoming! We got given a beautiful cabin for my Mum’s, Mother’s Day and it was nice and spacious! The shower was modern and the kitchen amenities were great! I felt we could have stayed there all week, if I didn’t have to get back for work. I would definitely recommend. 💯 It was also very close to the beach and local cafes.

Was an ok stay my cabin had noisy fans also making silly blinds that dont really provide much privacy shake and rattle all night long. Free wifi whats the point i couldnt even log into the provided small tv to put a show on for my kids. Next to no phone service also. Been to much better places for less.

We stayed in one of the very new superior cabins. Everything you could possibly want little kitchen dining table beautiful outside deck which is rather large. Two negatives if you were with children, the bunk room has an oversized wardrobe allowing about a 30 cm gap to pass between the end of the bed and the wardrobe not great. The second is all of the shower products are extremely high so the hand soap moisturiser is above the PowerPoint just below the window so it’s quite a reach. The shower wash conditioner shampoo is also very high about 1.6 m 1.5 which means you are reaching up to get shampoo and conditioner rather than it being at the normal waist height. There is also a glass shelf which is probably about 1.8 m high so nobody is putting their shampoo conditioner on that luckily there is a second shelf in the shower at more of a normal height. Easy walk to the beach there’s a walkway direct from the caravan park. If you are staying here it is advisable to stop at one of the Towns before Emerald Beach as there is nowhere to shop at Emerald Beach.

The kitchen was a good size and the reason I chose to pay $168 for the cabin in a caravan park rather than a hotel room. Looking at facilities I think it’s overpriced. Bathroom is quite dated and could do with an update. The bedroom with a double bed is really small. Very little room on either side to get in and out of bed. Website said wifi in all rooms but not in ours. When we queried with front desk were told our cabin didn’t have it but we could go to office to use wifi. Next morning, upon reporting wifi was on website we received mixed messages as then advised it should have been available. Overall I’d probably not choose a caravan park cabin again.

We stayed in the older cabins and boy they are old. Water wasn’t working when we arrived but came in eventually after a couple of hours. The amenities and walking distance to the beach are fantastic. I would stay again but in the new cabins.

We had a one night stay on our way down south. The property was clean and tidy. We checked in late at night which was easy with the lockbox. The cabin was tidy but dated. Very nice destination.

We showed up after hours on a Sunday and it was still easy enough to get checked in by calling them and getting a code to a lockbox with our key and info inside. Very courteous and friendly. Super short walk to the beach. Lots to do for kids!

Ladies behind the front desk couldn't do enough for you.. The staff driving around cleaning and fixing things great to talk to.. very good with local knowledge of the area.. park has a lot for children to do..

Easy check in even though we arrived after hours, they had pre warmed the room for us and left the porch light on which was a very thoughtful touch. We weren't able to utilise the facilities as it was a quick trip and we needed to check out early but the cabin was very clean and super close to a beautiful beach and nice walk. Very good value for money in my opinion.

Very nice approachable, professional and friendly staff, area maintained at high level, easy check in and check out, bbq, pool, short walk to convenient stood or short drive to Colles, about 15-17 min drive to Coffs big banana/ dolphin park and big supermarkets. We will return

From the start of our stay Discovery Emerald beach park was helpful and kind over the phone and accommodating to our late check in. Received directions through the process and when we arrived at our cabin it was lovely and clean ready to roll into bed. The time we did stay we received a call for updates for the parks wifi maintenance. The staff are all super friendly from reception to throughout the park to the maintenance. Around the park is super clean and tidy. The facilities around the park and how close the beach is was great for our family. we all loved the water park and pool, made us feel like a kid again going down the slide. We had also wildlife around the park which was amazing for the kids and us to see. The only down fall was the jumping pillow was not in working order but that was due to the cyclone weather. On our last day it was up and working in order again. We cant wait to return again in June as its our first option of accommodation to stay at now. Even my family and friends who visited us there said they want to book in and stay. Thank you to the team amazing work you do. See you soon.

We had a great stay at Emerald Beach! The site was clean, peaceful, and well set out. We had two cars and were still able to park comfortably by fitting the second car sideways in front — no hassle. The staff were also amazing — our son left behind his Labobo doll, and they contacted us straight away to let us know. We're now in the process of getting it back. Really appreciated the friendly service and attention to detail!

This was our first holiday staying with the Discovery Parks brand off properties. We stayed at Byron Bay and then Coffs Harbour. I loved how child friendly it was. Our cabin was lovely and clean. Comfortable main bed. The bunk beds are a little hard but my son hoped into my bed instead. Helpful staff when my son got his aeroplane stuck on a cabin roof! Clean BBQs. The beach track is so close. Would definitely stay again. Also loved how everyone respected the 5km speed limit inside the park so kids could scooter around safely.

Yes, everything was just perfect. Cabin was very clean and it was good having very good quality toiletries supplied. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Excellent park with good safe amenities of children's pool and playground for my 2 year old grandchild. Would highly recommend for families, just a shame we weren't able to stay to stay longer.

We have recently finished a 2 night stay at Discovery Parks - Emerald Beach, we arrived late (4PM) the first day to be greeted with a filthy cabin which had not been cleaned. We had to wait at the pool until cleaning was complete. On finally being able to enter our cabin, we quickly worked out our “new” cabin was one of many still under live construction. The construction team onsite were installing braces under our cabin and others to stop the new buildings swaying. A beautiful holiday filled with the sounds of impact drivers and welding. Not sure on the specific Safety legislation, but welding and angle grinding close to children without barricading may not be considered industry best practice? Extremely disappointing stay - unfinished cabins being charged at a premium.

We liked the noise curfew! Cabin was basic but you get what you pay for. Kitchen well equipped. No bedside table in the second bedroom. The beach is beautiful, especially the view from the hill. No restaurants open Monday or Tuesday night, probably different in peak season.

This cabin/caravan park is right by the beach with shady sites, good amenities, pool and water park for the kids.There is even a food truck open for dinner - tacos, burgers and the like. It was delightful sitting on the porch in the morning watching the lizards running around. Later on it was all kids running around. Emerald beach itself has some eating and coffee options, Moonee beach up the road has a big supermarket. Our cabin was small but had a full size fridge, gas hotplate, microwave and sufficient utensils/crockery. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom functional, shower was hot. All in all a great stay

This was the first time trying out accommodation in Emerald Beach and it did not disappoint! Staff were friendly and welcoming! We got given a beautiful cabin for my Mum’s, Mother’s Day and it was nice and spacious! The shower was modern and the kitchen amenities were great! I felt we could have stayed there all week, if I didn’t have to get back for work. I would definitely recommend. 💯 It was also very close to the beach and local cafes.

We stayed in one of the very new superior cabins. Everything you could possibly want little kitchen dining table beautiful outside deck which is rather large. Two negatives if you were with children, the bunk room has an oversized wardrobe allowing about a 30 cm gap to pass between the end of the bed and the wardrobe not great. The second is all of the shower products are extremely high so the hand soap moisturiser is above the PowerPoint just below the window so it’s quite a reach. The shower wash conditioner shampoo is also very high about 1.6 m 1.5 which means you are reaching up to get shampoo and conditioner rather than it being at the normal waist height. There is also a glass shelf which is probably about 1.8 m high so nobody is putting their shampoo conditioner on that luckily there is a second shelf in the shower at more of a normal height. Easy walk to the beach there’s a walkway direct from the caravan park. If you are staying here it is advisable to stop at one of the Towns before Emerald Beach as there is nowhere to shop at Emerald Beach.

Easy check in even though we arrived after hours, they had pre warmed the room for us and left the porch light on which was a very thoughtful touch. We weren't able to utilise the facilities as it was a quick trip and we needed to check out early but the cabin was very clean and super close to a beautiful beach and nice walk. Very good value for money in my opinion.

The kids and i loved our stay! Cabin was right at the beach access path. Had a lovely inlet to swim with the littles as well as the surf beach. Park was great for the kids, waterpark (although too cold at the time to use), jumping pillow, playground and a nice pool which was partially heated. Was all we could need for our 3 night stay. Cabin was lovely and cosy. We will definitely return

Great place to stay. We stayed on a Monday night, no dinner dining was on offer at Emerald Beach. Apparently this is the usual on Mondays and Tuesdays. Was not great for us passing through back to Brisbane. Might be an idea to update this on your website? Bridge was closed for huge part of our stay. Only advised of this after booking was confirmed and paid for. Paid full price regardless. Apart from this great place to stay. Probably better in summer holidays.

We stayed in a Deluxe 2 bedroom cabin. It was a comfortable cabin for the two of us, clean and well equipped (except for the blunt kitchen knives - my pet peeve). The floor level on our cabin was a little uneven, i.e. not level but sloping - nothing really problematic but it felt a bit weird. Parking was a bit tight for our van with bike rack on the back, but would be OK for a smaller vehicle.
