The shower was simple to use, powerful and stable with the temperature. The motel is on the edge of town, but only a few minutes by car to a small but adequate number of facilities including Country Club (Bowlo), pub, Chinese restaurant / takeaway and the Woolworths Supermarket and BWS Bottleshop. You could easily walk it in about ten minutes. We had a delicious roast dinner at the Commercial Hotel / Pub - and good value too. There are other food / drink outlets, but some have limited opening hours, so you need to take note. The in room breakfast at the Ship was included in the booking and included cereal, muesli bars, juicebox and milk. Tea and coffee included too. Rooms were serviced daily - a rarity these days since COVID. We stayed for 5 nights and found it to be comfortable, quiet and most welcoming, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff.

Room was clean staff friendly the whole place is looking a bit old and not sure if the restaurant section is open anymore . The pool Isn't open but guess it's early November maybe it's not going to open till December.Its a quiet place I believe new owners this year ,not far from town.The area is great to explore This motel is probably the best choice in the town and with some fixing up will look much better having the breakfast box was a nice idea. If you're looking to stop in the town then I recommend it a simple no frills motel with lots of potential

Spent one night at the motel. Situated a short drive from the main retail area of Yarram it is the traditional older style motel of 26 rooms. It is extremely clean and bed was comfortable. It is value for money and the inclusion of a continental breakfast an added benefit. Managers were welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Would certainly stay again.

It's a reasonably well maintained motel. Oldish decor, nothing fancy, as one would expect. The reception was friendly and we didn't have any issues with noise. The town itself is a nice small town. My only criticism would be: marketing material and on the website made mention of breakfast being included, in some cases the phrase "continental breakfast" was used. This is not true. What you so get is a breakfast box that has a small packet of serial with small UHT milk, cup of fruit, a juice box, and muesli bar in it per person. This isn't very filling and I definitely don't think they can boast of continental breakfast being included and should update their marketing material and brochures in the room accordingly. Other than that can recommend this as a reasonably priced stay over if you're in the area and not looking for anything fancy.

Such a clean motel on the edge of the quiet town of Yarram. A great spot to base yourself to explore the region. The breakfast pack and friendly horse, Penny, were a hit with the kids and all the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend the Ship Inn for a clean and comfortable motel stay!

Lovely country motel. Clean, comfortable beds, good hot shower and a friendly and accommodating receptionist. It's an older building so you will see a few marks and wear. But that does nothing to detract from a solid and comfortable restful night's sleep. The continental breakfast was a little bonus too!

The room had everything we needed & was fresh & clean. It was bigger than some places we have stayed in before. Reverse cycle heater/air con was great & the TV was reception was good. Complimentary continental breakfast was an added offer.

The accommodation from the outside does look aged, HOWEVER the staff have given it fresh paint, and the amenities are great especially the breakfast boxes are convenient and includes a decent amount in the box. The beds are really comfy, really comfy great tv, lots of storage space. Great mural trail to do, the artwork is fanastic. Staff are very helpful nothing is too much trouble. I would stay here again without a second thought. The outside of the hotel does not do it justice.

Jodie was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Accommodation was great, really close to the main strip and bed was really comfy.

Great little country motel. Ticked all the boxes. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Rooms clean and comfy beds. Bit of a walk to town but would be ok during daylight savings. Great base for exploring a beautiful part of Victoria. Happily recommend and look forward to staying there again.

We stayed on our Sydney to Melbourne coastal road trip. It is in a small community that closes down early. It is a typical motel circa 1960's. We arrived late in the afternoon and there were no decent restaurants open. The town strip is right down the road. We ended up buying sandwiches at Woolworth for dinner.

This is a traditional country motel which follows the classic U shaped configuration with ample parking in the centre space. The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly. The rooms are traditional, with older furniture and fittings but clean, bright and spacious. Everything worked perfectly including the TV, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. The shower was simple to use, powerful and stable with the temperature. The motel is on the edge of town, but only a few minutes by car to a small but adequate number of facilities including Country Club (Bowlo), pub, Chinese restaurant / takeaway and the Woolworths Supermarket and BWS Bottleshop. You could easily walk it in about ten minutes. We had a delicious roast dinner at the Commercial Hotel / Pub - and good value too. There are other food / drink outlets, but some have limited opening hours, so you need to take note. The in room breakfast at the Ship was included in the booking and included cereal, muesli bars, juicebox and milk. Tea and coffee included too. Rooms were serviced daily - a rarity these days since COVID. We stayed for 5 nights and found it to be comfortable, quiet and most welcoming, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff.

Such a clean motel on the edge of the quiet town of Yarram. A great spot to base yourself to explore the region. The breakfast pack and friendly horse, Penny, were a hit with the kids and all the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend the Ship Inn for a clean and comfortable motel stay!

It's a reasonably well maintained motel. Oldish decor, nothing fancy, as one would expect. The reception was friendly and we didn't have any issues with noise. The town itself is a nice small town. My only criticism would be: marketing material and on the website made mention of breakfast being included, in some cases the phrase "continental breakfast" was used. This is not true. What you so get is a breakfast box that has a small packet of serial with small UHT milk, cup of fruit, a juice box, and muesli bar in it per person. This isn't very filling and I definitely don't think they can boast of continental breakfast being included and should update their marketing material and brochures in the room accordingly. Other than that can recommend this as a reasonably priced stay over if you're in the area and not looking for anything fancy.

Nice clean room, freshly painted and a comfortable bed. The property is a little out of town and so was quiet and peaceful. Staff were just lovely, and provided a breakfast pack for next morning. Would definitely stay again.
