We booked a Grand room which was an extremely basic room, no fridge in room just a bed, chair & little table, bench seat/shoe rack , bedside cabinets & TV . It felt like an upmarket Backpackers accommodation. No parking had to park in Wilson's parking next door at an added cost. The staff were fantastic very friendly & helpful.

Super little hotel, it was odd to have no fridge in the room but the commual fridge on level was very well managed. I liked how this hotel encourages communication with other guests by way of the commual facilties at breakfast time. Its an awesome little hotel especially for solo travellers. We were a group of 9, middle aged travellers, so we like the nicer things in life and this little hotel met those requirements really well. Centrally located, close to the train station and all the shops. Shopping was a breeze.

This is a fantastic hotel. So central and close to everything. We have been to this hotel before so we booked it again. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The room was large and very clean and had everything you needed. The rooftop is amazing to sit with your morning coffee or a drink. This hotel is highly recommended.

A great base. Very clean hotel which met all our needs. We got used quickly to the lack of a closet and managed without. There was a cupboard next to our room with access to ironing boards and irons. We liked having access to the rooftop bar and mezzanine floor to relax. The free hot drinks and bottles of water were a welcome bonus. We’d thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Bra plassering, god seng, men tunge dører, og støv på stanga i dusjen. Litt mye støy fra gata. Men veldig hyggelig hotell og en fantastisk takterrasse. Synd baren var stengt, men man kunne sitte der, så jeg tok med meg vinglasset mitt dit. Fikk vin på grunn av gullmedlemskap i hotels.com.

Super location in Northbridge, close to Perth CBD and heaps of cafes, restaurants nearby. Rooms are small but funky. Service is impeccable. They have 2 bars onsite…Lobby and Shadow. Loved our stay.

The rooms were very small but surprisingly quiet considering the location. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby and only a short walk into the city centre or train station. No tea and coffee facilities in the room but can be accessed in the communal eating area. Overall it has a great vibe and good location.

When I stay here I have to work and the Alex is so well set up for this. The mezzanine floor feels like a second floor where I can work in a beautiful environment and grab a coffee or wine whenever I want. I always appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms too. Everything feels crisp and hygienic which is important to me.

The housekeeping was not great I ran out of stuff a few times. The rooms were very nice but no fridge, a teeny bin and running out of essentials quickly spoiled it a bit.

A nice hotel allowing itself to become shabby. (Torn curtain, shattered headboard.) Not much in the way of room amenities. Staff seem too young and more interested in themselves than the customers. Cold and disinterested. This is a new hotel which feels like it's given up on itself already. Some maintenance and better trained staff would turn it around. Move reception to where the bar is and move the bar to the 1st floor. Make the main entrance easier to find.

Incredibly noisy with no warning that the room would be noisy. The ear plugs in the room were probably an indicator. With the room directly opposite a beer garden/night club the noise in the room was terrible. I’d paid for a larger room but looking at the floor plan I should have saved my money to avoid the larger rooms placed at the front of the hotel. The door, that in the advertisement appeared to lead to an outdoor verandah didn’t lead anywhere. The tiles in the bathroom were quite dirty and the toliet only flushed when both buttons were pressed. Quite disappointing given the price tag as I’d read about the hotel.

So many things are good here - friendliness of staff, eco-friendliness, and condition of hotel. But I had a room that was in a corner of the hotel without internet access, so every time I wanted to use the computer, I had to go to the common area on the first floor. Not convenient for sure, particularly as a business traveler. The rooms also have very limited storage (i.e. no closest or drawers), so when you're there for a week, you have to "live out of a suitcase" - no fun. Fortunately they provided a temporary desk, as the room doesn't come with that basic item.

Very noisy location - hotel surrounded by bars and clubs pumping out loud music until 4am. Police needed to disperse crowds at 430am. Sleeping drunks and tramps littering the street outside the hotel next morning. Room has little amenity - no safe, no tea or coffee making, no wardrobe

Staff were great … amenities not so much. We didn’t get the upgrade that we were supposed to as rewards members, but they tried to upsell us on an upgrade which we declined. Then we found out that there are no fridges in the rooms only a communal fridge which for the middle of Perth seems a little strange. Finally on getting to the room…. Let’s just say that you shouldn’t share the room with anyone that you aren’t intimately acquainted with because the toilet door is literally a piece of glass. There is no separation between bathroom and room except for that glass. Overall, it’s a decent stay but I’m not sure we will be back.

Hotel sympa bien placé bon PDJ continental. Notre chambre petite, vue sur un mur mal, equipee pas de chaise ni de bureau ni de table la douche inondait toute la salle de bains. Mais situation grographique tres bien pres de la gare et de la rue commercante. Si nous avions ete dans une autre chambre cela aurait ete sur top !

The uniqueness of this modern boutique hotel has its own characters. It is not easy for me in the first few hours trying to figure where the basic appliances located such as kettle and ironing equipment, but once you get used to the hotel’s system, it is all fine. (Note that it may not be ideal for senior travelers with walking problems because it requires guests to go up and down just to get a basic item like hot drinking water). Unfortunately, we arrived around 9:30 pm and found it difficult to checkin. A better/ more obvious doorbell system would be useful.

This is a fantastic hotel. So central and close to everything. We have been to this hotel before so we booked it again. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The room was large and very clean and had everything you needed. The rooftop is amazing to sit with your morning coffee or a drink. This hotel is highly recommended.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Northbridge. My only criticism is their $10 Food and Beverage Credit that is awarded each night you refuse housekeeping for your room. When I checked out the credit was never applied to my bill (I had $29 worth of drinks and $30 of credits so I should not have been charged) and the guy never told me I was being charged this $29. When I discovered the charge a few days later after I checked back in for a week, and queried it, I was informed I should have informed them at check out to have the $30 credit applied against my bill. And that it was now too late to go back and refund me the $29 I was charged. I’m sorry but the hotel should automatically apply the credit and not wait for the guest to ask them to do so - this is rather sneaky and makes a mockery of this $10 scheme. I won’t be bothering to avail of this for the rest of my stay after checking back in.

Nice central location in the busiest part of the city. Transportation options in Perth are excellent, so if you prefer a quieter experience this might not be your spot. The room and staff were great, as is the decor. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The shared areas are very welcoming, and the breakfast is good, with a variety of juice, fresh fruit, pastries, barista coffee, and muesli. It is very eco-conscious. This hotel might not appeal to everyone for a few reasons: Rooms do not have a desk or fridge. The idea is to use the communal areas with comfy seating, tables and a communal fridge. The other qualifier is that the noise from the neighbouring pub music is quite loud, even with double-glazed windows and the earplugs provided.

The area comes alive at the the weekend with live music venues. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from Perth train station and close to many places of interest. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Super location in Northbridge, close to Perth CBD and heaps of cafes, restaurants nearby. Rooms are small but funky. Service is impeccable. They have 2 bars onsite…Lobby and Shadow. Loved our stay.

Lovely hotel, very nice communal areas. The room was stylish but no frills. I liked the shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Couldn’t get the tv chromecast to work. I had no problem with noise, slept very well. Friendly staff and nice breakfast!

We stayed 6 nights. Great hotel. Great location. The staff are all friendly & helpful. The lounge/common areas are comfortable, inviting & well presented. The breakfast is great. The bar has interesting & good cocktails. Walking distance to central station, museums, RAC Arena (where we saw Kylie Minogue's concert), the city CBD area, & James & William Streets are full of restaurants well worth trying such as Francoforte, Munchy Monk, & Lucky Chan's. We didn't get to try the hotel's restaurant for dinner, but it looked great & will try it when we return. Thank you so much for a great stay, we will be back.

Love the fact that each room has a small balcony. Breakfast inclusion is great, but don't expect a full buffet - pastries, granola, fruit and coffee/tea is delightful though.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Small and very friendly staff. The coffee at breakfast is to die for and made by the staff. In fact, the breakfast all round was fabulous. I didn't want to stop eating! It was rainy while we were there but the hotel lent us an umbrella and they also have bikes which we not able to utilise due to the poor weather. Rooms are small but the lounge area on the first floor is lovely to sit in with books and games and a 24 hour coffee machine that also makes decent coffee.

I booked this hotel based on past reviews. I was led to believe the location was good. Sadly i didn’t find that to be true. It was quite an uncomfortable area. Lots of cheap takeaway/ eat in dining spots. Empty shops etc. Didn’t feel comfortable walking there at night time. The room we had was very small and despite being a silver member I wasn’t offered an upgrade. No tea or coffee facility in the room was a nuisance but we got our cuppa on the first floor and carried it back to our room. Same with bottled water.

The room looked like a premium jail cell. View out of the window was a concrete wall, no fridge, no coffee maker, nothing that a standard hotel room should have! Was provided with a voucher for a welcome drink that I was not able to use as the rooftop bar was closed! Very unfriendly and uncooperative staff member as well.
