Moruya Waterfront Hotel Motel

Room was ok for the price, clean and tidy. Motel parking spots need to be numbered. Meals were excellent, helpful staff.

Clean bed, hot shower, good beer, great entertainment from local bands.

Room was basic but clean. Nearby hotel had loud disco on Saturday night that went up to midnight. No allocated parking outside rooms so first in best dressed. Couldn’t get a park inside on Saturday night so had to park out front near street. On Sunday night came back to find big ute taking up two spaces outside our room. Luckily got a spot not too far away.

Value for money, location next to the river and garden were lovely. Staff were terrific and although I was worried about being close to the music they were absolutely great about finishing on time and I wasn’t disturbed afterwards. Extra bonus was the service station next door late hours and fantastic food options .

Stopped here on a recent road trip. While the rooms we got were older they were clean and the beds extremely comfortable for the price. Went to the adjoining Hotel for a few cold ones as the sun set, they had music and decent traditional pub food. Nice flat pool table's and straight cue's if that's what you are into as well. It's a nice easy walk across the bridge to the town centre if you want coffee or breakfast in the morning.

Great setting next to the river. Great place to have a beer watching the sunset.

The window had no lock on it. So I felt vulnerable. It was very clean but reeked of bleach. Property is overall tired. Could not take a shower the water was only tepid at best. Ran for 10 min never got warm.

Not worth the money i payed for accommodation. Floors n tiles were dirty, mould on ceiling in toilet and shower. NOT family friendly Algae in toilet. Curtins were ratty n dirty. Would not stay there again

Although old and dated our room was very clean and comfortable. Protected from traffic noise even though on a busy main road.

We stayed 4 nights, but they didn’t clean the room, change bed sheet, pillow case, towels, etc. we needed to go to store room to bring towels, which was ridiculous. They didn’t top up teas/coffee/sugar.

Dirty courtyard, smelling room, unfriendly shower area. Room was not like photo we saw while booking. We cut short our trip by one day and donated second day amount to hotel

The furniture and linen all looked new and fresh but the walls and carpet old and in need of cleaning and freshing up plus our room had european cockroaches crawling up the walls and over bed.

This motel advertised daily house keeping we stay 9 nights and the room wasn't serviced once. No clean towels no refill of toilet paper etc. I wasn't expecting a flash room for the price but l didn't expect mould on roof and curtains and stained towels.

Older motel in need of a major upgrade/renovation. Stained & freyed carpet. Stained chair. Mould in bathroom which is extremely small. The most uncomfortable bed I've slept in as it needs a new mattress. On a positive side, it is attached to a Pub & Bistro.

The shower and hand basin water was just luke warm! If not cold most of the time felt like the hot water was regulated. If it was 40 degrees outside having a cold shower would have been ok. there was no dish washing liquid to clean cups and utensils. Valance on single bed was all ripped and hang on the floor, tripping hazard, beds were comfortable, toilet seat definitely needs replacement as peeling, this is definitely a very old motel as it shows all the wear and tears.

The property needs renovating. It is quite old and desperately needs an upgrade. The only highlight was the comfortable bed.

Room was tiny. Very basic. Bathroom was tiny. Very old and worn and thin walls. If price was cheaper it would be understandable what the room looked like. The bistro food was great, and the views were good. Staff were very friendly. Site is tradie friendly.

This is a very basic property with excellent staff and service. While the property is very well kept and clean, the rooms are of a good size and the bed was very comfortable, it is in need of some renovation throughout. The location on the riverfront can't be beaten.

This is the worst motel but the manager on duty was extremely helpful and was-excellent in dealing with clints

The motel had handed the whole property over for a corporate function and couldn't honour my booking but as compensation would gladly put me up at another recently renovated property and would cover the difference. I had to agree and assumed the other room would be at least of equal standard to what I had booked. Upon arrival at the other property all their motel rooms were occupied so I was given a room in a demountable tradies cabin on a building site. The 2nd half of the motel was still being renovated and I assume these cabins are used by the tradesmen. The bed was clean enough but the cabin had just been trucked in from an outback mine and was basic & mouldy and didn't have motel room facilities. I'm not expecting luxury in a crisis but there was no way this room was superior to my original waterside location so being charged the full amount by the original property is an insult. If they had any ethics they would have made the room complimentary and refunded my money in full. Disgusted.

Good room and location for us when we work In the area.

Find this a great little spot. Well located south side of bridge, just a few minutes walk into town and on the river. Great if you can get a water view room. Excellent pub onsite, staff welcoming and service oriented.

location is fantastic! wouldn’t expect such a great riverside view in a budget stay. staff did a great job keeping a tired property up to scratch

Pictures on website are in my opinion not current. Room was very dated and in poor condition. I used a redemption night to stay but if had booked at $130 price advertised i would have been really disappointed. Ate dinner in bistro and ordered a schnitzel. Needed a steak knife to cut through schnitzel as was burnt and over cooked. Came with a small salad and at $29 for meal it was a huge let down. I ate meal as was starving. Im a sales executive and travel frequently. I would rate this venue a 1 or below.
