This is a modern well maintained hotel. Ultra pet friendly!! Right on the beach Good quality bar food, great breakfast Great staff. It is also right on the road so do book a beach facing room - we did not and the room was OK, but we yearned to open our window - and it was not to be as this is a busy road.

A five day stay to watch The Open Golf championship at Troon. The hotel was not able to provide TV coverage of the golf which was unfortunate ans most residents were there for the golf. The hotel took advantage of the golf to charge a premium for standard rooms. It may be better value to travel in from further afield during the championships.

Lovely seaside location with great views towards Aran. Our room was large with a great big comfortable bed and a fab bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower over it. The bar and restaurant are also lovely with good selection of food for dinner and breakfast, both of which we enjoyed..

The location is fabulous, right on the sea front. Plenty outdoor seating which was welcome in the hot, sunny weather we had. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet almost every dish on the menu had a GF option available which is quite unusual. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean.

The location is fabulous, right on the sea front. Plenty outdoor seating which was welcome in the hot, sunny weather we had. We stayed here before and had a fantastic experience. Sadly, rather disappointing this time. We booked a delux room which on entering had opaque film covering the lower half of the windows which instanty made me suspicious. It was an attempt to block views of the bins, road and the caravan park next door. Our room was at the side of the hotel. We expected a partial sea view, but not the rest. With the hotel being so quiet we would have expected a better room positioning. We were shocked to find that simeone had clearly used our loo. There was urine & loo roll in it! The bar, restaurant area was very cold with only embers glowing in the log burner. Another client was sitting with his puffa jacket on. We asked if they could stoke the fire, however we were told it hadn't been on for 2 days and there was no kindling! It had been on. They then turned up the heating. The open kitchen in the bar area was noisy. Music playing in the bar clashed with the music being played in the kitchen. A large collection of cutlery was being dried and dropped into the cutlery holder behind us, it was ridiculously loud! We thought it would never stop. A very different experince from the beautiful room and comfort of our last visit.

Lovely room, really big and a large comfy bed. What more do you need?… maybe a few more gluten free options at breakfast would be good, there was nothing on the buffet I could eat. But I did get a cooked breakfast that was nice.

From the outside, the hotel would be more in keeping in Cornwall than the rugged west coast of Scotland. My welcome was sadly half hearted and disinterested but my room was well appointed and comfortable. However, the restaurant is trying to be something that it isn’t. It was suggested that I take a seat on a sofa in the bar area and someone would take a drinks order. After 15 minutes, patience ran out! I didn’t fancy a starter and thought a small dish of olives would suffice. The cheapest, nastiest olives I’ve seen or tasted for a long time. No stick to eat them with and after enquiring, a plastic toothpick was the best on offer! My fish pie was good but glazed carrots are just the wrong vegetable. The charming waitress was overly busy whilst her colleague, in an inappropriately short skirt, propped up the kitchen pass chatting to the duty manager/restaurant manager who was equally ineffectual and lacking in observation. Some good ideas but shock application. I wouldn’t return.

Lovely hotel for our overnight stay, staff very friendly. Restaurant was very good for our evening meal with a comprehensive menu. Only slight downside was they were doing some groundwork at the rear and side of the property so it was a little noisy early in the morning.

Great hotel. Everything seemed to be just right. Service was there when you needed it and not there when you didn’t. Minor issue with vegan ingredient availability but nothing else wrong.

The location is fabulous, right on the sea front. Plenty outdoor seating which was welcome in the hot, sunny weather we had. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet almost every dish on the menu had a GF option available which is quite unusual. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean.

Lovely room, really big and a large comfy bed. What more do you need?… maybe a few more gluten free options at breakfast would be good, there was nothing on the buffet I could eat. But I did get a cooked breakfast that was nice.

From the outside, the hotel would be more in keeping in Cornwall than the rugged west coast of Scotland. My welcome was sadly half hearted and disinterested but my room was well appointed and comfortable. However, the restaurant is trying to be something that it isn’t. It was suggested that I take a seat on a sofa in the bar area and someone would take a drinks order. After 15 minutes, patience ran out! I didn’t fancy a starter and thought a small dish of olives would suffice. The cheapest, nastiest olives I’ve seen or tasted for a long time. No stick to eat them with and after enquiring, a plastic toothpick was the best on offer! My fish pie was good but glazed carrots are just the wrong vegetable. The charming waitress was overly busy whilst her colleague, in an inappropriately short skirt, propped up the kitchen pass chatting to the duty manager/restaurant manager who was equally ineffectual and lacking in observation. Some good ideas but shock application. I wouldn’t return.

Lovely seaside location with great views towards Aran. Our room was large with a great big comfortable bed and a fab bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower over it. The bar and restaurant are also lovely with good selection of food for dinner and breakfast, both of which we enjoyed..

Great hotel. Everything seemed to be just right. Service was there when you needed it and not there when you didn’t. Minor issue with vegan ingredient availability but nothing else wrong.

Room was very spacious and clean however was next to a main road and very noisy from 5am. When asked by reception how my stay was I informed them of this and they only started at me blankly. I know they can’t move a road but some empathy and better soundproofing would help. Breakfast was very disappointing as had been sitting out for some time.

During the stay, fire alarm rings 5 times for no reasons. 2am+ 3am+ 5am+ 6am+ 9am+. And hotel don't care to tell what happen. We don't have good rest at all.

My new favourite hotel/ spa. Rooms wonderful w sea views, staff v helpful and friendly but saving most praise for the utterly wonderful spa/ out door pool making the most of spectacular views. I’ll be back!

The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. We had such an amazing stay for my partners 30th. The food was lovely (was expensive though) but overall was so lovely. The staff were all very friendly and was a great wee stay for our wee dog as he got breakfast in the morning in the hotel. The only downside was that there was a wedding on the day we checked out. Check out time was listed as 11am on their website and in the room, however, we were rushed out of the room at 8:30am this morning so they could clean it for the wedding guests arriving. We only had about 15 minutes to pack all of our stuff and leave the hotel. I would stay here again though apart from that
