Gabriella and Lorenzo were delightful hosts. The house is in a lovely location, very private, was clean, well stocked, and convenient to both Diano and Alba. Gabriella kept in constant touch to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction and provided lots of advice regarding restaurants, wine tastings, and local festivals. All staples were provided, along with some lovely housewarming treats. We will definitely be back! Grazie da cuore!

Beautiful house in a stunning surrounding!Gabriella and Lorenzo are the best hosts you can imagine and they immediately make you feel at home.

The property was mis-represented in the VRBO/US web site. It claimed to have air conditioning and it did not. When the host was confronted, he played dumb. one month later the web site still said that the property had air conditioning. It had ceiling fans in every room but only 50% of the windows had screens and in no rooms were all the windows screened. Thus, at night all the windows could not be opened to take advantage of the cooler air. Also, the screens had tears in them so individuals could reach through thems to manage the outside windows shutters.The property was well kept as was the interior of the house. There were no outside shaded sitting areas as some photos indicated. There was only one clock hour to view of the country side because of the small forest on one side of the property and vineyard on the other side. The house was well kept but every horizontal surface was covered by something. The was a real problem in the bathroojm where there was no place to put our toiletries and in the kitchen where the only place to store pans and cooking sheets was in the oven. Diano d"Alba is several hundred feet higher than the house and the 1 Km walk was up hill with a grade that we estimated average 9-11% and switchbacks that my Strava said were 15-20%. The property was extremely quiet with little traffic on the road and the nearest neighbor 50-75 yards away.

Unsere Reise nach Diano dAlba war wunderschön und erlebnisreich. Unser Ausgangspunkt Casa Bardinot in Diano von Gabriella und ihrem Sohn Lorenzo, die fantastische, respektvolle und absolut hilfsbereite Gastgeber waren, boten uns ein mit allen notwendigen, und darüber hinaus, komplett ausgestattes Heim. Absolut sauber. Nicht nur das Haus, besonders der Garten und das grosse Grundstück, liessen keinerlei Wünsche offen. Wir durften hier 10 Tage der besonderen Gastfreundschaft in Anspruch nehmen, haben jeden Tag Velotouren unternommen, die auf Grund der Hügel tatsächlich anstrengend, aber erfüllend waren. Dank unserer E-bikes war es sehr gut machbar. Absolut zu empfehlen! Ebenfalls können wir das Restaurant im Ortskern empfehlen. Sehr gutes und originales italienisches Essen, dazu noch kostengünstig! Alles in Allem: Wer noch nicht hier war, autentische italienische Gastreundschaft, gutes Essen, einen tollen lokalen Mercade im Ort Ricca in der Ebene als Einkaufsladen für das tägliche Wohl benötigt, dann können wir nur diesen Aufenthalt empfehlen.Danke Gabriella und Lorenzo!!!Thomas und Monika aus der Schweiz/Deutschland

La casa è un’oasi di tranquillità immersa nella natura. È dotata di due grandi giardini recintati e di un bosco annesso di proprietà. Soggiorno molto piacevole. Grazie.
