Yardarm Motel

The main problem during our stay was the noise. The walls are extremely thin — we could hear everything, even the people in the next room using their microwave. We were placed between two rooms that seemed to be traveling together, and they partied and slammed their doors throughout the night. By 3 AM, we had to ask them to quiet down. I even have video of how loud it was. It’s also evident that the hotel is aware of the noise issue, as there are white noise machines already placed in the rooms. Unfortunately, even with that, we barely slept. The hotel itself has potential, but room placement and noise control need serious attention.

Relaxing, quiet stay.

The motel uses contact-less check-in by sending a code to our phones. The room is clean and pleasant. There is plenty of parking at the property.

Great staff. Big room. Nice continental breakfast. Rooms a little hard to keep warm (high ceilings and heat rises!). Took a while for the hot water to show up.
