Simple, but beautiful property. Very well-located, close to everything. Easy check-in, love the door code access instead of physical keys. Room had everything we needed, including coffee, refrigerator and comfortable bed. The rooms are located on higher floors without an elevator; not a problem for us but could be difficult for guests that have trouble with many stairs.

Merkelig hotell. Var ikke merket med navn utenfor. Fine rom og god beliggenhet. Ingen frokostmulighet, resepsjonen var kun åpen til kl 19. Ikke heis.

We had upgraded our rooms to the deluxe hamman suite and it was as per the photos. We couldn’t fault the room or the location. Lots of restaurants and bars and fancy shops. 15 minute walk to the train station. Our friends room has a few minor problems, there was no wardrobe and ideally needs a mirror above the sink.

The photos looked great but we were worried it might not deliver. We were wrong! The unit was exactly as pictured... even better with not 1 balcony but four!! Wow... what a beautiful property and the location is excellent! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and old Nice. Restaurants and shopping just steps away. The only minor downsides are that the 4th floor is really the 6th (remember no elevator) and the front door doesn't have any signage indicating that you're at the right place (we weren't the only ones confused). We would definitely stay at this gorgeous and modern hotel again!

I was a girl alone for a night in Nice for a transit and I felt safe the all time! There is a unique and personal code for each guest for the main entrance, hallway and the room! The room is super comfortable, stylish and clean. The staff gave a great service.There is no elevator but it’s perfect to have an extra glass of wine without feeling guilty ;)

Wir hatten ein neues Zimmer mit Hamam und Sauna. Einrichtung top, sehr modern. Hätte aber praktischer eingerichtet werden können (Tisch mit guter Beleuchtung und Spiegel, größere Ablage neben dem Waschbecken) Reinigung kam jeden Tag, Bettwäsche wird nicht jeden Tag gewechselt, erst nach eigenständigem abziehen der Wäsche. Ansonsten Lage super, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, max. 5 min von der Promenade oder zur Innenstadt.

Very good location in the heart of the city center. But this hotel is like an airbnb. Hot water is finished at night, there is no slippers, no hotel reception after 8pm, no elevator. Hotel(house) is located in an apartment’s 4th and 5th floor.

The shower was unreal!!!!! Multiple different light colours in the shower, and it turned into a steam room as well!!!!! In a quiet street but so close to restaurants, shopping, hikes and the beach. Ask for a lower floor if you don't like stairs!

Excellent experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower was excellent and room was always cleaned to a high standard during the day. It might be know harm to have better signing outside the building. We had a little trouble figuring out which door to go in from the outside! Would highly recommend!

The property location is fantastic and in an upscale area with lots of shops and restaurants. The size of the property was also very spacious and beautiful finishings. My husband also enjoyed the haman and the large bathroom was a plus. However, the sofa and the linens and curtains were extremely dirty and need replacing or good steam cleaning. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and needs replacement mattress. I would have given it 5 stars if not for those elements. Be prepared for a long climb up, which we knew when booking from other reviews so that did not surprise us, but it is a hike. Overall would recommend compared to the other options in Nice. Just encourage management to steam clean or replace the sofa, bedsheets and curtains.

Our stay at this location was amazing. The room was wonderful and was cleaned everyday. It was walkable to old town and food options were plentiful. No elevator but the stairs were not too bad. We would stay here again. Only complaint would be the pillows. A bit too soft for our liking.

Fantastisk lokasjon - midt i handels og restaurantdelen av Nice - med gåavstand til alt - inkl. gamlebyen. 100m til stranda. Moderne og fine rom. Dersom du klarer å se 95 trappetrinn (har ikke heis) som god trening - så er dette stedet for deg. Vi likte oss veldig godt her. Hyggelig betjening, fine rom og svært sentralt plassert. NB - de har ingen frokostordning e.l. du betaler kun for leie av et rom/leilighet. Daglig Vask og renhold er veldig bra !

This was such an unexpected clean and contemporary room. The only downside was my sink was very clogged so I ended up brushing my teeth and using water from the shower. The rain shower was a pleasant surprise that I very much enjoyed. Perfect water temperature, perfect water pressure. Towards the end of the night people were smoking in their room so I could smell it from my room, that’s the only downside if you’re not use to smoke smells.

This was such an unexpected clean and contemporary room. The only downside was my sink was very clogged so I ended up brushing my teeth and using water from the shower. The stay was good! Very friendly staff and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a balcony with a great view of the surrounding buildings and the park center. The only issue was the shower flooded on the last day.

Amazing staff Rooms are updated: Rainfall shower, spacious bathroom, good ac, comfortable bed. Surprising quiet considering the surround area a all about cafes, restaurants and shopping. Excellent location, near tram stops.

Maybe if the pictures weren’t as deceiving, I’d give it more stars. Location was great, staff friendly. However, do not be fooled by the pictures. At least the room we’ve stayed in, it was tiny compared to how it was pictured. The kettle had mold in it, looks like the water hasn’t been changed for weeks. The bedding was polyester and impossible to sleep on, considering how hot it gets due to the room being so tiny. Id choose a different stay if I could do it over again.

The only minor thing is that the pillows were very thick and they had no additional thinner pillows to offer. We could also hear the people on the floor above us most of the time. It is located in a very central area with access to restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, and very close to the train station. However, because it’s located in a central area, on the weekends it can get pretty loud at night if you’re trying to sleep before 2am it may not be possible. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and we would stay again at this beautiful hotel id we come back.

The rooms look very nice and great design. That is the good part. But the rooms lack sound proof, it can be are very noisy with doors closing and other guests in next rooms. Further after check out I needed to get something from my case and called three times the reception at 11:45, no answer. I hurried back to the hotel and was there at 11:50 but it was already closed. No idea when it will be open again but this is terrible service provided. Last time I stayed here.

Our suite was very clean and in an excellent location, but it was not luxury as advertised. The furnishings felt cheap, and the amenities were generally lacking. The couch was wobbly, the bed creaked excessively and the toilet felt like it might detach from the wall. The all glass shower in the middle of the room is an interesting design choice, made worse by the fact that the doors didn't contain all of the water so after every shower the surrounding floor was all wet. It was surprising not to find other standard things in the room, like an iron, but it was provided when asked. Despite being disappointed with the quality, the location, powerful AC and beautiful view made for an overall decent stay. But, we did not feel like it was worth the price

Overall, this stay was great. It was in an ideal location, close to everything you could possibly need, and I would stay here again. However Expedia did not send us the needed information to acsess the building and it was difficult for us to get in at first. If it weren’t for people leaving we never would have gotten in. I will say the walls in the room were extremely thin and there’s no elevator if you need access. But the room was clean, and comfy, with friendly staff. If you’re here on business, the wifi is terribly slow, I would recommend the hotel look into upgrading their wifi package.

While the room was decorated nicely and was clean, it felt very cramped. It felt like a closet with very little natural lighting. The safe stuck out from under the bed which was a tripping hazard (I stubbed my toes multiple times). The photos of this room on Expedia booking site are misleading - although the shower was great and the staff were nice. The "balcony" connected to another room with no seating. It was in a good location but underwhelming.

While the room was decorated nicely and was clean, it felt very cramped. It felt like a closet with very little natural lighting. The safe stuck out from under the bed which was a tripping hazard (I stubbed my toes multiple times). The photos of this room on Expedia booking site are misleading - although the shower was great and the staff were nice. The "balcony" connected to another room with no seating. It was in a good location but underwhelming.

Excellent experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower was excellent and room was always cleaned to a high standard during the day. It might be know harm to have better signing outside the building. We had a little trouble figuring out which door to go in from the outside! Would highly recommend!

Definitely one of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. Check in was a little complicated but we ended up figuring everything out. The staff was accommodating- helped us with our luggage, provided umbrellas, only thing I didn’t like was being woken up every morning by someone knocking on the door to clean my room. Very nice to offer the room clean but maybe they should try those door handles saying do not disturb or come on in! Otherwise everything was great. I Guess you can’t be too mad about woken up when they are just trying to clean as much as they can! Location was perfect. We felt extremely safe. I would definitely stay here again!

Great central location to be in, especially if it's your first time in Nice. There's literally cafes and restaurants downstairs, with bakeries and the nearest supermarket just minutes away by walk - and not to mention all the shops! The hotel itself is very boutique - a very subtle entrance (we missed it when we first arrived), but I loved having a pin code to enter the building and room as opposed to carrying a hotel card. We had the Superior Suite with Balcony and it was well worth it - spacious, clean and a view to the street below. The stairs are no joke (we were on the 4th floor), but we were very fortunate that Florian helped carry one of our bags up and down on check in and check out. When we didn't have the suitcases, walking up and down the stairs was fine - helped justify eating all the local delicacies during our time there. Would definitely happily stay here again, loved it!

Ce qui m'a déplut c'est le fait qu'il n'y ait personne à la réception à notre arrivée. On a dû téléphoner pour avoir du service. Même chose au départ, personne à la réception pour descendre nos bagages par les escaliers. Pas d'ascenceur, c'est difficile. Sinon, le personnel était poli et gentil.

I will pre-face this by saying I travelled alone. Excellent room and location. However staff was very rude and unhelpful when I had a medical emergency. There is no lift (which is fine, I am 23 and able to carry my own bags typically), but I threw my back out on the way up and was in tremendous pain. Could not sit up, stand, walk, or bend down. I called asking for help (ice or pain killers) and was promptly told no. I had to ask for assistance carrying my bag up the one remaining staircase, in which she was very rude but did bring the bag. When she came in the room, I was kneeled over on the bed unable to move and crying. She promptly dropped my luggage and left. No human kindness in offering me any help or making sure I was okay. She was out of the room in under 10 seconds despite seeing my condition. She did offer to call a doctor when I called reception on the phone, but I needed to try pain killers before visiting a doctor in a foreign country where I do not have insurance. By the time I was fully debilitated in bed, unable to move at all, reception had closed (closes at 7PM) and there was no one to call for help. I had to call emergency services and be taken to the hospital for pain killers. Horrible service in the case of a medical emergency. It is a shame because if she had been helpful or if the situation didn’t arise at all, I would’ve had a pleasant stay. But because of this, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The suite was perfectly as seen on the reservation site! Loved the room, the size and the overall amenities. Front desk staff varies from day to day, so you are not always greeted in the same welcoming manner, it’s unfortunate given the quality of the accommodations!

I had a wonderful stay at Le Dortoir, its in a great location, close to the beach but also central to shopping,nightlife and some great high-end retail stores. It was the perfect location close to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. Will definitely be staying there again the next time I'm in Nice.

Ein großartiges kleines Boutique Hotel mit Raffinesse. Großzügiges Upgrade auf eine höhere Kategorie. Kleine Mankos: Dusche läuft selbst bei "sparsamen" duschen auffällig stark aus auf das Laminat/ junger Mann mit Capy an der Reception wirkte grundsätzlich gelangweilt und wenig Gäste orientiert - übriges Personal freundlich/ die Gepäck Aufbewahrung am Abreisetag ist etwas fragwürdig und wirkt nicht sicher - keine Quittung und beim abholen keinerlei Check ob man das richtige Gepäck entnimmt oder überhaupt berechtigt ist - der junge Mann mit Capy starrte weiter unberührt auf sein Laptop.

The location was perfect in the middle of shops and restaurants. There is no elevator which you do not know when you initially view this property on the website, they inform you after booking. Room was very modern and a good size based of European standards. I did not like that when leaving for the day with the Do Not Disturb on our door the staff still entered the room and cleaned.

Le secteur était parfait ainsi que les chambres personnel aimable quand on en trouvait .accueil ouvert a 10h et pause déjeuner de midi a 14h..du jamais vu..plus 4 étages .on a la gentillesse de vous les monter mais vous devez les descendre vous même puisque il n y a personne avant 10h. A 70 et 74 ans ca n a pas été facile

The stay was better than expected. The room was clean and the personnel always made sure drinking water was replenished every day. The only minor thing is that the pillows were very thick and they had no additional thinner pillows to offer. We could also hear the people on the floor above us most of the time. It is located in a very central area with access to restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, and very close to the train station. However, because it’s located in a central area, on the weekends it can get pretty loud at night if you’re trying to sleep before 2am it may not be possible. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and we would stay again at this beautiful hotel id we come back.

Très bon séjour. Chambre spacieuse et de qualité en plein centre de Nice, des beaux quartiers de Nice :) . Boutiques, bars, restaurants, animations, plage à 5 minutes à pied, promenade des anglais… le tramway a 5 minutes à pied également qui nous emmène à l’aéroport. Bref très bon séjour dans cet hôtel, nous reviendrons.

The photos looked great but we were worried it might not deliver. We were wrong! The unit was exactly as pictured... even better with not 1 balcony but four!! Wow... what a beautiful property and the location is excellent! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and old Nice. Restaurants and shopping just steps away. The only minor downsides are that the 4th floor is really the 6th (remember no elevator) and the front door doesn't have any signage indicating that you're at the right place (we weren't the only ones confused). We would definitely stay at this gorgeous and modern hotel again!

Dersom du klarer å se 95 trappetrinn (har ikke heis) som god trening - så er dette stedet for deg. Vi likte oss veldig godt her. Hyggelig betjening, fine rom og svært sentralt plassert. NB - de har ingen frokostordning e.l. du betaler kun for leie av et rom/leilighet. Daglig Vask og renhold er veldig bra !

This hotel is very central and close to many shops and restaurants. I love the modernness of the rooms and even the ease of access to the rooms/hallways via access codes. Very nice! I enjoyed how close it was to the beach. Despite the lack of elevators, the 2nd floor is not a bad walk up and the receptionists were very helpful in assisting you with your luggage.

Lovely clean room, everything worked well, the suite itself was very spacious, we particularly enjoyed the terrace. The Hammam/shower was fantastic and the bath was very relaxing. Staff were very helpful, helped us with our bags and booked us a transfer for our departure. Great location near lots of good restaurants, short walk to the tram and the train station and walking distance to most of the main attractions including the old town markets. We had a hire car on arrival and parked in an underground car park 5 mins walk away, there are several options in the area.

The only bad thing is that you could hear the rooms around you. Not talking but foot steps, doors closing, showers on and toilets being flushed so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear buds. Rooms start on the 4th floor but really that’s like 6 flights of steps thankfully the front desk worker literally took our suite cases up for us. If you want to use a beach towel it’s 5€ to rent which was kind of disappointing but for the price it’s really a nice and safe place to stay

Pros - - good location - comfy bed - air con was great Cons - - shower that flooded the room every-time you turned it on, asked the staff to look into it, the answer was ‘take more towels’. - no storage for clothes or suitcases. - had to store suitcases by blocking the door at night time.. Thankgod there was not a fire! - bed board was so dusty. - staff are only available at certain times of the day and contactable via WhatsApp, could not get a reply via WhatsApp and desperately needed more towels for the shower water but couldn’t get any as no one around even though there was meant to be. - luggage storage was agreed, when we checked out at 11am, no one on reception or contactable on WhatsApp. Waited 20 minutes before giving up. - crack on shower floor - safe was under the bed, smashed our toes so often as not easy to go around a small room and avoid suitcases - no lift so lots of flights of stairs to carry cases up and down. - had a room that was meant to have a view.. view was off the next door roof.
