Second time staying at this excellent hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable and the three swimming pools are all very clean and lovely to use. The staff really go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. Always smiling and friendly and happy to take time to chat with the guests. The food is wonderful and the head chef takes great pride in his work. He is also very accommodating and happy to take on any challenges if you want something that’s not on the menu. The owner takes the time to meet the guests - thank you for the chocolate cake which was amazing! I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and we will definitely return.

Everything about this hotel was top notch. Excellent location right in the centre, however on stepping in from the busy road, it feels like a peaceful oasis. It was kept spotless and the grounds were continually tended. The staff without exception were very friendly and keen to please. Breakfast had a superb choice to suit all palates. As well as the daily choices, the buffet varied each morning. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent. There are 3 pools which were very peaceful and we never had any issue getting a lounger. Highly recommend and hope to return.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The rooms were wonderful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Best breakfast out of the 6 hotels we stayed in India and the dinners were beautiful too. Especially as you can take lessons with the chef to make curry. This was free of charge although you do pay for the dishes you make. Owners were so friendly and so well respected in the resort when talking to people. They genuinely take an interest and speak with you at breakfast. The pool (3 in total) was excellent and the pool bar cheap as chips. Especially if you buy the bucket deals which works out at 6 bottles for about £3.80 (Kingfisher premium). This was as cheap if not cheaper than anywhere else. We were given a chocolate cake on our second day which was lovely. Nothing was a bother to them. Highly recommend this hotel.

All staff at Seashell suites and villas makes this hotel a very special & comfortable stay, from check-in to leaving it was great! Breakfast had a selection of Indian and European foods plus made to order on a menu. Standard rooms are very spacious with 2 sofas and 2 televisions. A lovely roof top bar and restaurant too. Big thanks to Kim and Somnath for going the extra mile.

Excellent property, large guest rooms and great amenities including 3 swimming pools, poolside bar and lounging areas. Extensive buffet and live food station in breakfast options included with the room plan we had booked. The food in the restaurant was also very good and meals we had in the hotel felt almost like home cooked. The owner took personal interest in our comfort and the staff too were extremely attentive, responsive and courteous. Overall a great hotel experience to compensate for the 2 very rainy days we spent in goa.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom villa, located next to a pool on the property. The villa was set back from the busy road, so it was very quiet and relaxing. We saw many lovely birds just outside our villa. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent. We ate a sumptuous breakfast one day, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beach is about a quarter mile from the hotel, we went for walks a couple of times. It does get crowded so we preferred to hang out at the hotel pool.

What a gorgeous hotel and absolutely spotless. Everything from the room to the pool to the gardens to the location really was amazing. I have never stayed in a room that was so immaculate and the staff were incredibly attentive. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for Maintaining the hotel so beautifully

Excellent hotel, large clean rooms with a balcony and nice poolsGood breakfast for both western and Indian tastes. Very quiet at night but good location close to the main Candolim beach road, about a 10. walk to the beach along the quiter beach road. Its my second visit to this hotel. Friendly staff. One of the more expensive options in Goa but definitely worth every penny. From the time of booking to checkout the hotel had no faults. Staff were always polite, helpful and accomodating - nothing was too much to ask. Owners/managers checked in with us regularly to ensure we were okay which made us feel very welcome. The cleanliness of the hotel was spot on, inc the bathrooms and kitchen area which were spotless. Thank you so much for a memorable experience, I will definitely recommend this accomodation to others.

I highly recommend the Seashell Suites and Villas in Candolim, Goa. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and immaculate. We had a very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. During our stay we enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning and appreciated the owner, Shelly Gonsalves, personally stopping by our table to welcome us. The pools and outside dining are lovely. It is in a convenient location for walking to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Overall, this is a wonderful resort.

Seashell Goa was simply amazing. The property is clean , comfortable and rooms are very spacious. The service is great and staff goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We also received a complimentary cake which was so delicious. Buffet breakfast has a good spread and is very yummy. We will definitely go back as we loved our stay .

Great property specially if you are traveling with multiple families. We stayed in 3 bedroom villa, it was spacious with nice layout. One bedroom was downstairs along with living area and two bedroom upstairs. We had booked 3 rooms in Taj , Panjim and cancelled and booked 3 bedroom villa here and glad we did. Service and hospitality was better than Taj and we have stayed in several Taj properties. Overall we had very good time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. We booked a villa and it was really large and cleaned daily. All of the members of staff were friendly and really helpful and we would definitely come back here again. It is also situated in a very good position for the beach, shops and restaurants so we didn’t need to get any taxis anywhere apart from the airport. The food was also very good too.

We met the owner at breakfast who organised for a chocolate cake to be delivered to our room for afternoon tea so we felt very spoilt. The Junior Suite was spacious with a separate lounge seating which was very comfortable.

Probably the best property in Candolim and the area. Super clean, fantastic attentive service from the moment you approach the property all the way through breakfast/dinner where the chef personally asks how you liked the food or you have any preferences. In fact you can request something specific for dinner in the morning any they will make it happen. The owner walks through the dining hall talking to guests. Great rooms, comfortable and functional, kept in immaculate cleanliness. No street (or any other) noise. Taxi always ready for you. Great advice on where to go and what to do. Beach is 3 minutes away. Big Newtown's supermarket next door. I would be happy to stay there again and highly recommend to others!

Treated like a king from minute I arrived. Easily best service at any hotel I have ever had. Unbelievably good. Room are lovely and although paid breakfast it’s was superb for the price. Drinks also were really well priced and on many occasions cheaper than bars. Can’t wait to go back

Second time staying at this excellent hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable and the three swimming pools are all very clean and lovely to use. The staff really go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. Always smiling and friendly and happy to take time to chat with the guests. The food is wonderful and the head chef takes great pride in his work. He is also very accommodating and happy to take on any challenges if you want something that’s not on the menu. The owner takes the time to meet the guests - thank you for the chocolate cake which was amazing! I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and we will definitely return.

Everything about this hotel was top notch. Excellent location right in the centre, however on stepping in from the busy road, it feels like a peaceful oasis. It was kept spotless and the grounds were continually tended. The staff without exception were very friendly and keen to please. Breakfast had a superb choice to suit all palates. As well as the daily choices, the buffet varied each morning. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent. There are 3 pools which were very peaceful and we never had any issue getting a lounger. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Das Seashells lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ein tolles Hotel mit super tollen Personal. Als Deutscher ist man schon echt überfordert mit so viel Service kennt man halt so nicht.(Servicewüste Deutschland Kunde kommt rennt schnell weg) Jeden Morgen kommt der Besitzer zum Frühstück und redet mit den Gästen sowie auch die Angestellten. Kein Wunsch bleibt offen. Als Willkommensgruß gab es eine Torte aufs Zimmer. Da mein Mann zufällig Geburtstag hatte gab es ein Kuchen und von den Angestellten ein Geburtstagslied. Das ist schon einzigartig. Bislang hat das kein 5 Sterne Hotel in den wir sonst waren jemals von sich aus getan. Die Zimmer sind schön groß das macht den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Unter anderem gibt es 3 Pools eine schöne Dachterasse wo man Abends essen gehen kann. Die Preise sind dafür sehr angemessen und von bester Qualität. Für uns ist es das beste Hotel in Candolim.

We had a truly fantastic stay at the hotel everything was simply perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My husband celebrated his birthday during our visit, and the head chef arranged a cake, which was even served with a birthday song from him and his team. Such a thoughtful and personal gesture and the cake was complimentary. I didn’t meet a single staff member without a smile or a kind greeting. A wonderful experience from start to finish, and I can highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

A difficult review to write. The property, the room, the pools, the restaurant, all excellent. The staff try really hard, but management needs to focus a little more on core issues; less on the flattering touches. Instead of sending me a cake, ensure the public are toilet tap is working. Ensure the reception staff are awake and ready for work at 0645 hours, and are not still 'resting'. Stop the staff from asking for good reviews. The hotel is really a four-star hotel, which tries hard and delivers on almost everything. A word about the clientele - many British retirees are at the hotel - this is the key market. If I had known this, I would not have booked. It's a bit like a luxury old folks' home. But this is all nit-picking - the hotel is very very good.

Property is located at edge of restaurants / busy places and at the same time it is walkable distance to some of the nice beaches. We loved our stay and will return back with entire family to Seashells Villas. ves: Service was amazing - Chef Nitin customized Ros Omelette for us and it was delicious, Omkar / Sandesh and other breakfast staff were incredible. House keeping / Room service very quick. Replenished the water bottles multiple times. They even gave a thermometer to check our daughter's fever and got a Doctor when needed. Rooms were cleaned thoughly and the property is kept green and very clean. Even though it is a big property, the best touch was the owner Shelly Gonzales personally inquiring about our experience. Overall experience - better than the US brands that I've always preferred. -ve The front desk refused to extend late check-out by 1 more hour. Our daughter was sick and we would have preferred to stay in our room instead of in the lobby. But I would not hold that against them.

Excellent all around. The staff were amazing, really attentive and friendly. The rooms and pool are kept spotlessly clean. We were given an upgrade to their 1 bedroom pool side apartment which was very kind and gave us even more space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. We booked a villa and it was really large and cleaned daily. All of the members of staff were friendly and really helpful and we would definitely come back here again. It is also situated in a very good position for the beach, shops and restaurants so we didn’t need to get any taxis anywhere apart from the airport. The food was also very good too.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom villa, located next to a pool on the property. The villa was set back from the busy road, so it was very quiet and relaxing. We saw many lovely birds just outside our villa. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent. We ate a sumptuous breakfast one day, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beach is about a quarter mile from the hotel, we went for walks a couple of times. It does get crowded so we preferred to hang out at the hotel pool.

Lovely hotel with fabulous staff. Clean and comfortable, very spacious rooms and very close to all the restaurants bars and the beach. My only reservations are that the restaurant is a bit soulless for lunch or dinner and the rooftop bar really needs to decide whether it’s a bar or an extension of the the restaurant - it could be a great little bar area but it’s really lacking in the way it’s set out. However, these minor reservations can’t detract from the whole experience which is brilliant.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The rooms were wonderful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Best breakfast out of the 6 hotels we stayed in India and the dinners were beautiful too. Especially as you can take lessons with the chef to make curry. This was free of charge although you do pay for the dishes you make. Owners were so friendly and so well respected in the resort when talking to people. They genuinely take an interest and speak with you at breakfast. The pool (3 in total) was excellent and the pool bar cheap as chips. Especially if you buy the bucket deals which works out at 6 bottles for about £3.80 (Kingfisher premium). This was as cheap if not cheaper than anywhere else. We were given a chocolate cake on our second day which was lovely. Nothing was a bother to them. Highly recommend this hotel.

Extensive buffet and live food station in breakfast options included with the room plan we had booked. The food in the restaurant was also very good and meals we had in the hotel felt almost like home cooked. The owner took personal interest in our comfort and the staff too were extremely attentive, responsive and courteous. Overall a great hotel experience to compensate for the 2 very rainy days we spent in goa.

The room was really big and was very comfortable for 5 days. The rooms were cleaned every day. Hospitality and staffs were awesome. The pool was amazing. It was clean and had less chlorine. Food was average though. Overall it is an amazing property. It totally satisfied us and worth the money spent. Will definitely recommend people to check the property.

Seashell Suites and Villas is one of the hidden gems in Goa that I found when browsing for a place to stay. Our arrival was marked by a stream of helpful front office staff who promptly, eased our check-in process and escorted us to our rooms, The room itself – a Junior King Suite was huge with ample space capable of seating 4-6 people comfortably, a nice bed and the bathroom was well stacked with amenities. It was not till the following morning I realized how refreshing the rain shower was. I’ve never been to Goa during the rainy season, but the water force from the shower seemed as if I was being drenched by the famed Deccan monsoon. The breakfast was big spread of both western and Indian dishes with made to order omelets and dosas/uttappams. Sanjay, the director of the place and the owners constantly were present every day introducing themselves to the guests and ensuring that each was satisfied with the spread and had plenty to eat. Nitin, the head chef and his team of sous chefs ensured that we were satisfied. Lunch and dinner are also served (a la carte). The food was excellent, and Nitish smilingly catered to our needs. If you have any dietary restrictions, this is the place to eat, as Nitin will dly oblige to meet your needs. The food was so sumptuous that I regretted eating dinner outside the first two days we were there, Finally, no review of this place would be complete without acknowledging the charming and vivacious nature of Asha as a well accomplished hostess.

The breakfast was big spread of both western and Indian dishes with made to order omelets and dosas/uttappams. Sanjay, the director of the place and the owners constantly were present every day introducing themselves to the guests and ensuring that each was satisfied with the spread and had plenty to eat. Nitin, the head chef and his team of sous chefs ensured that we were satisfied. Lunch and dinner are also served (a la carte). The food was excellent, and Nitish smilingly catered to our needs. If you have any dietary restrictions, this is the place to eat, as Nitin will dly oblige to meet your needs. The food was so sumptuous that I regretted eating dinner outside the first two days we were there, Finally, no review of this place would be complete without acknowledging the charming and vivacious nature of Asha as a well accomplished hostess.

Great location, lovely staff, comfortable rooms, great pools and breakfast. We had a wonderful 13 night's staying at the Seashell Resort. A real home away from home. Exceeded our expectations and lived up to the excellent reviews we read before booking it. All staff very friendly including the owner who checked in regularly to ensure we were happy with everything.
