Annexe Machiavelli - Luxe nouvellement restauré appartement au coeur de Florence

Wow! Apartment is in a great location. Plenty of space, very clean, comfortable bed, great AC- if looking for a home base in Florence this is the place. The host is wonderful to work with- let us check in early, booked a taxi for us and has many great tour ideas.

We are so glad we found this beautiful apartment in a walkable location just close enough to everything but away from the tourist hub. Pierpoalo (our host) greeted us and spent a great deal of time acclimating us to the apartment and Florence. Upon our arrival he sat the dining room table with a map and marked some restaurant suggestions. (We went to all of them, each one better than the next!). The apartment was perfectly appointed and very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom quite nice. Pierpoalo offered us a trip to the Tuscan hills. It was an amazing day. He made arrangements at a small family owned winery where we had a wonderful wine tasting and lunch. He also took us to two villages. We loved spending time with him. He has mastered the art of hospitality. If we are lucky enough to return to Florence we have a beautiful place to stay. Grazie mille Pierpoalo!

Apartment was fantastic and perfect for our 5-day stay in Florence. Location was brilliant - close to everything including train station, which allowed us to maximise our time as tourists. Pierpaolo was wonderful to deal with, friendly, helpful, gave us great ideas and suggestions, checked up on us during our stay, and went so far above and beyond our expectations. He was a fabulous host!The apartment was well fitted with everything we needed for our stay, and everything was perfectly clean and nice and modern.We found lovely, reasonably priced restaurants close by, and supermarket and fabulous little coffee shop right downstairs. Perfect place, perfect host and a perfect stay in Florence. Highly recommend this property.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in the apartment. Pierpaulo went above and beyond to assure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Pierpaulo helped us book several tours and was a wonderful guide. The apartment was spacious, very clean and modernized. The location was conveniently located near the train station and very easy to walk to. We easily walked to all other locations throughout the city from the apartment as well. We would definitely return to this apartment for another trip.

We could not have asked for a more centrally located location or more communicative, helpful and friendly host. The apartment is lovely and incredibly comfortable and cozy. Just steps from the apartment is a wonderful bakery, a grocery store, and nearly everything you could want from Florence. We will be back!
