It would've been a great stay but the whole reason we booked was for the pool. And it wasn't open. They kept putting it off every 20-30 min before giving a definite no at 6. That was super frustrating. The staff was all so friendly and hotel very nice but pool not being open was a problem.

Friendly staff who checked in on us and made sure we had a good stay. The hospitality staff quickly responded to any requests. The guest hospitality happy hour was nice too. Fitness facility met all expectations.

Its a great place to stay when visiting St. Charles. It has ample parking with a nice fountain on the backside. Easy access to highways and restaurants close by. The pool is nice with a small gym to the left. Small breakfast buffets with french toast and eggs fruit and yogurt. There is a bar i didnt vist but looked nice. Room service was good. A salmon with shrimp and a cheesecake. The rooms all sleep 6 seperating the bedroom from the living space. Great price for the space given. It has a convension center with another area looking to be updated soon. Bonus the historic part of St. Charles is just down the way along the river and the ampetheater is about 10 minutes away. AND if you download the HILTON APP you will be able to recieve a digital key to your room to unlock your door with the press of a button.

It had easy location on / off Interstate. Quick and easy check in. Breakfast was fair could have been better. Parking was an issue at this location. Limited parking in front entrance, if you arrive late plan on parking in rear lot and entering in back hotel entrance. Was well lite but just a hassle.

Room was pretty clean with comfortable bed. The pool was very dirty and water had a bad odor. Breakfast was cold and there wasn’t a clean table to sit at. If you are going on the weekend expect a big crowd.

The hotel staff were always nice, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Elevators were always busy and had very long wait times. But all together the hotel was very clean and breakfast was great!

The breakfast buffet was great. A good selection. The sofa in the room was filthy. The pull out mattress was awful and I don’t think the blanket had been washed in months. So the best part was the buffet and location.

I’ve stayed here several times and had a good experience but this time was different. I paid $985 for a five night Wellness room with the air purification and when I arrived I was told it wasn’t available so I was given a corner room. I didn’t need a large living room since it was just my husband and myself. I feel like I got overcharged for a room I didn’t receive. When we got into the room, the carpet wasn’t clean. The carpet next to the living room table had something sticky on it which stuck to my socks. We found Doritos on the floor between the bed and the wall (there was a 2 foot gap). We found deflated balloons on the floor next to the couch. The bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned. Our socks were dirty after walking on it. What was really weird is that we kept finding lady bugs on our bed and on the table. We found 4 of them on the ceiling in the living room. Not sure we’ll stay here again.

The location and surrounding environment of this hotel were great. The actual room appeared to not have been cleaned well in quite some time, other than the bed linens. The couch had visible stains and dirt on it, the wheels fell off the ottoman when we moved it to the side of the room. The bathroom had a strong urine odor and there were orange stains and body hair on the sides of the toilet. We also found a bug in the shower. The hallways are obviously not vacuumed regularly. The food here was good and plentiful. The staff were friendly, but when we brought our concerns to them (not seeking any monetary benefits, just to let them know the room needed attention), there was no effort to write down a list of concerns. Just an “ok, thanks for letting us know”. The building is beautiful, it’s unfortunate it’s not being well-maintained.

The room smelled like mildew. There was a ladybug on the bed pillow and one on the floor. There was hair in the shower, the bathroom floor, and the bedroom floor. At check-in, we asked for maid service on Saturday. We did not receive it. The breakfast food was very average, if not below average. We will not stay here again.

So glad we switched hotels to come here. Not only is the hotel big and nice with a pool, but the freaking free breakfast is phenomenal!! Eggs anyway you like made to order! Pancakes, potatoes, fruit, muffins, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy!! Fountain pop and juice on tap!! Omelets made to order as well! Also, for us, big family with four kids and two adults, it’s important to have that sofa couch but it’s more important to have that sofa couch in its own room! One that can be separated by a door and the room we got was just that! The only issue I had was that the window opened although not a whole lot but enough for a toddler to get their head through and/or a small pet. There was no screen on the window either but again, not an issue for us, just something I thought twice about. The staff at the front, specifically the older woman, super sweet and energetic!!

The hotel is pretty. It is loud. I had to put earplugs in to sleep because of the noise from the attrium. Omlet bar line was a joke. Pool looked dirty.

The was clean enough and the beds were pretty comfy. But the room had a real tired look and feel. The carpet seam had split and duct tape was used to hold it down. The cold water handle fell off, the coffee maker didn't work, the desk chair was in rough shape, and the couch cushions had seen better days.

Check in was short. He didn’t bother to mention happy hour or breakfast. We had to call maintenance because our room was HOT. Thirty minutes later he had the air going. During happy hour I heard a lady ask about transportation options. He could tell us there was a trolley, no idea of the hours.

Came in late after driving 6 hours, with a number of others. Reception staff was wonderful. Geneva helped us, and she was quick and efficient. I'd accidentally only booked 1 night and she made it right instantly!

Staff was nice, room was clean. When we checked in, we were put in a room that had people in it. We had friends joining us and 2 other couples were also put in rooms with people in them. It made us afraid to leave our things in the room during our event we traveled for because this seemed to be a common problem, giving people keys to already occupied rooms.

We called and left voice messages that ac didn’t work, not answered upon. Next day called front desk who sent man up! Unit froze so he thawed it and left. 2 hours later froze up again. This time he brought a box fan with him! 2 nights of ni air and room was stifling! Did not sleep well! Should have been handled on day one!

The air conditioner didn’t work in our room, we had maintenance come and fix it, worked for an hour then didn’t work all night. Called again, no one came. The bathroom light was flickering for two days. Again, no maintenance came to fix.

The overall stay was cool but to have somebody walk in your room and open your door with another room key is crazy. I went down to the desk and they said I wasn’t checked in all the way.

This stay was the worst of all stays in any hotel we have ever had. We prepaid for the presidential suite to find out upon arrival they gave our room away because they “hadn’t assigned rooms at that time” we are a family of 4 with two small children and the room was given to a couple. After no solution they gave us a “suite” and when we get to the room it’s 80 degrees with two double beds after requesting a king. The couch was disgusting, it looked like someone walked through mud then walked all over the couch. We were only refunded for a half of a night.. I don’t know why we expected anything more from an embassy suites but it’ll definitely be the last time i let my family stay at one.

Right off the highway. Easy access. The staff was amazing and friendly. Very willing to help in any way. Assistant General Manager, Geneva, texted me when we got to our rooms to make sure we had everything we needed.

This Embassy is always so great. Beds are comfy, rooms are large and clean, and breakfast buffet is top notch. The convention center is an easy walk to and from the hotel. We love getting to stay here every year for our tattoo convention and we will continue to book our stay here!

Its a great place to stay when visiting St. Charles. It has ample parking with a nice fountain on the backside. Easy access to highways and restaurants close by. The pool is nice with a small gym to the left. Small breakfast buffets with french toast and eggs fruit and yogurt. There is a bar i didnt vist but looked nice. Room service was good. A salmon with shrimp and a cheesecake. The rooms all sleep 6 seperating the bedroom from the living space. Great price for the space given. It has a convension center with another area looking to be updated soon. Bonus the historic part of St. Charles is just down the way along the river and the ampetheater is about 10 minutes away. AND if you download the HILTON APP you will be able to recieve a digital key to your room to unlock your door with the press of a button.

Great conditions, easy in and out and access to highway to and from airport, which was just 10 minutes way driving time. St. Charles has a historic area I did not know and was great for dining and drinking options, having plenty of them within easy access. I will stay there again without a problem.

The hotel decor is dated. The coffee is removed as soon as breakfast is over. No free coffee in lobby, must buy at cafe. Kitchen closed early, had to leave for dinner and came back to no parking spaces.

The stay was good per usual. They have a different cook at the omelette station than when I last came and he was absolutely awful. He had an attitude, he was slamming things around, he barely spoke at an audible level, he was rude, & seemed as if he didn’t want to be there. It made me uncomfortable to ask questions or make requests. Even when I tried to remain positive by saying “Have a blessed day” he didn’t respond and shook it off. I know people have bad days but to spill on guests is not ok. It’s not my fault you chose the job working with people. I tried showing kindness despite his attitude and it still didn’t matter.

I had the best lady Katy who checked me in.. Great personality. she made the stay great!! When I went to the restaurant, no waitress ever came or checked on the tables, I ended up ordering from the bar to take back to my room after waiting over a half hour! The coffee shop needs to be open for more hours.

So glad we switched hotels to come here. Not only is the hotel big and nice with a pool, but the freaking free breakfast is phenomenal!! Eggs anyway you like made to order! Pancakes, potatoes, fruit, muffins, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy!! Fountain pop and juice on tap!! Omelets made to order as well! Also, for us, big family with four kids and two adults, it’s important to have that sofa couch but it’s more important to have that sofa couch in its own room! One that can be separated by a door and the room we got was just that! The only issue I had was that the window opened although not a whole lot but enough for a toddler to get their head through and/or a small pet. There was no screen on the window either but again, not an issue for us, just something I thought twice about. The staff at the front, specifically the older woman, super sweet and energetic!!

The breakfast at Embassy Suites is usually the best. Not at this location. The cleanliness, staffing, and lack of food available on the buffets was terrible. The cold pitcher of creamer for the coffee was odd tasting and even the Heinz ketchup tastes like it had turned. They were constantly out of silverware and you had to pick through plates to find one that didn’t have food particles still stuck to it. Sorely dissappinting!

Overall, this property was great! The room was very clean and spacious. The property overall was nice looking and clean. Only disappointing piece was the breakfast. It left something to be desired, it seemed the main attraction for breakfast were the made-to-order omelets but the line remained long so we opted to not stand in it. Also, when asking a staff member if they had cream cheese available because I did not see it, she was a dismissive and just said "in the bagel area"... I got the bagel from the middle of the buffet so I had no idea there was a separate "bagel area" where the toasters were and was left to look around. That was just a small part of the stay though so would still stay here again.

The breakfast was horrible. The sausage was rubbery, the pancakes were soggy, and the website talked about fresh omelets. Precooked omelets with some cheese inside with topping you could put on top. I saw so many plates left that were not even finished. Everything else was great how can they mess this up so bad?

Evening reception greatly reduced it only included goldfish crackers and vegetable trays. In the past it use to include more appetizers so this was disappointing. Also there’s a limit of only 2 adult beverages. Pool was unavailable for the last evening of our stay.

First night fire alarm went off 7 or 8 times, with evacuation orders. They were initially followed by "disregard notices." Eventually they stopped giving the disregard notices, figuring everybody knew to ignore the evacuation orders of they were cut off in the middle. Sleep was horrible. I was sick the next day. Compensation was negligible.

The hotel could use some updating. Almost all the chairs in the atrium/dining area had torn and ripped seats. The afternoon appetizers were a bowl of goldfish and some cheese cubes. Room service was not available. You had to go down and place your order and then either wait in your room for it with a huge surcharge added on or wait for it at the bar. No place on site to get lunch. Overall, it felt tired and in desperate need of an upgrade.
