First, the property is awesome. We loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the water, and the restaurant is fantastic. When we checked in, it was clear that there were rooms available aside from the room we were assigned. We were assigned room 204, which was the recipient of a constant pounding until close to 11 PM at night, and started up at 6:30 in the morning. It was a pounding that never stopped, and controlled our sleep experience. When we went to check out, and shared the information about the room, the two ladies working the desk, looked at each other and at the same time said room 204 right? Upon check-in, we were knowingly given a room that is a problem with noise. It is incredibly frustrating to know that the resort was not sold out, and they chose to give us the worst room available. It is also a reflection of how disinterested the staff member who checked us in, was in making sure that we were taken care of. Upon arrival, I started a conversation to check in, and the phone ring. The person working the desk proceeded to take 10 minutes on the phone with the guest that called in while I stood there. That same representative is the person that we spoke with about the noise after we checked in. We were told that we received the room that we paid for, and that nothing could be done about it. The property is gorgeous, and we will definitely return to North Hero Island again, but we will not stay here.

Stayed 3 nights

The property is very nice and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast included with our stay was very good. The food at the Pier House was delicious! We ate there all 3 nights of our stay. The live music on Monday and Wednesday night at the Pier House was very enjoyable. All in all a very nice, relaxing stay.

What a sweet room and wonderful shower. We were only there for one night but wished that we were staying longer. The breakfast was perfect and the region beautiful.
