The pool was excellent, and it was only a short walk to the beach (shuttle avail if needed)with the white sand . The room was 5 star elegant.Dining options are small in Talawa but outside the gate there are tons of eating choices..the breakfast buffet which was included turned out to be very tasty with plenty of choice for all.You cannot use the pools at the different resorts and it is closely monitored. They need to offer a better price on sodas so make sure you just walk out the gate and buy from 7/11unless paying 5 to 7 Canadian for a coke is worth it .Told us outside food wasnt allowed but after seeing all the guests eating Jollibee and McDonald's most ignored that.Next year we will stay at other Hennan resort to try it as it has tons of pool and its right on the beach

1 bad thing. There 3 Hennans next to each other. Only 1 has beach access and its not this one. You are treated as second class guests because of that. You have to pay to use the gym. You cannot use the beach fronts swimmimg pool.

수영장이 별로 안깊고 어린아이들이 많아 시끄럽습니다. 편의 시설도 헬스장이 없고 이용하려면 알로나 비치 리조트까지 걸어가서 이용료를 내고해야한다고 합니다. 가격이 저렴한 다른 리조트에서도 편리하게 이용한 짐을 굳이 추가금을 내면서까지 이용하고싶지 않았으며 매우 실망스러웠습니다. 수질은 그동안 이용했던 숙소 중 가장 않좋아서 필터가 반나절만에 갈색이 되었습니다. 가격대비 가장 별로였던 숙소입니다.

This property is very nicely decorated and is in walking distance to bars and restaurants on the beach. The only issue I had was the pool at the beach end of the building was off limits to tawala guests unless we paid 1500ph. Seems extreme to swim

I enjoyed this resort! Really liked the bedding in my room. The only minus - it is noisy during the day because there are lots of kids playing and shouting in the swimming pool. However, I think for this very reason the pool hours is only until 8:30pm. Amazing breakfast buffet. Walking distance to the restaurants and shops outside the resort.

룸 컨디션(바닥,벽 얼룩 및 청소상태)이 안좋고, 화장실에서 악취가 계속 올라와서, 하수구로 자주 물 부어야 그나마 악취가 덜해요.(s트랩 미설치인듯) 근데 물도 잘 안내려감 ㅠㅠ 요금 지불하고 저녁6시로 레잇체크아웃 요청했는데, 퇴실 당일만 확인이 된다고 하더니, 결국 프리미어룸이 풀부킹이라고 디럭스로 방을 옮겨서 1박을 추가하거나, 12시 퇴실하라고 당일에 안내해줘서, 그냥 체크아웃했어요. 수영장은 접근성이나 타월사용은 편한데, 락스를 엄청 쏟아부어서 아침에는 락스냄새가 진동했고, 우리 애들은 수영장 반나절 쓰니 피부도 뒤집어져서 사용안했어요. 그리고, 5일간 있었는데, 해난에 한국분들이 많았는데..제발 밤 11시 넘어서 술먹고 한국어로 노래 떼창하고 소리지르고 ...그러지 좀 맙시다. 보고 있기도 너무 챙피했네요. 전 재방문 의사 없습니다. 하지만, 침구는 깨끗하고, 배드도 쉽게 옮겨지고 (프론트에 말하고 헐리우드 트윈으로 재배치 사용함), 배딩 상태도 좋아서 그건 만족해요. 침구가 중요한 분이면 방문 추천해요

I stayed at this resort for 7 nights and was very disappointed with how a serious hygiene issue was handled. On the second day, I began experiencing itching. When I reported it to the front desk on the third day, they simply handed me a single-use ointment with no real explanation or concern. That evening, my friend also developed itching and signs consistent with bedbug bites. The hotel didn’t offer a solution—we had to directly request a room change ourselves the next morning. Although they agreed to move us, we had to carry all of our luggage without assistance. This completely disrupted our morning plans and added unnecessary stress. For a resort of this level, I expected much better cleanliness and guest service. We Have stayed at Hennan Alona before and now prefer Tawala . Its newer and caters for less ppl. The large Resorts like Hennan and BE Grand attract mostly Korean Chinese clients. As a Australian do not expect to conversions with other ppl. Just saying. Hennan is great .this trip Tawala offered good value as we booked non refundable and in advance. Highly recommend. Only thing that bothered me a little was all the pillows are massive soft marshmallows. A few smaller pillows would be fantastic.

Great breakfast menu But the TV in all 5 rooms we booked was very disappointing. They should upgrade to smart tv, the cable channels had poor signals giving off a very bad sound quality, not a joy to stay in the room for long. Had to force ourselves to go out in the rain as there was no reliable room entertainment

The explanation for the pickup service after check-out was insufficient, and the staff's service was very disappointing. I felt like this might be the last time I visit because of it. I had requested a 12 o'clock pickup service, but they provided incorrect directions for the vehicle, and the departure was delayed by about 30 minutes. Additionally, when traveling in the same vehicle as another group, they insisted that we had to pay 900 pesos each for airport pickup service, even though I knew it should be less than 200 pesos per person. This hotel has truly terrible customer service

Aufgrund des verheerenden Typhoons in der Nähe habe ich meine Reise abgesagt. Meine Frage nach Kulanz bei der Stornierung wurde mit der Aussage „müssen Sie via 3-Anbieter wo gebucht wurde klären, unsererseits kein Problem“ Der Drittanbieter meldete das dies Sache des Hotels ist, Hotel hat danach nochmals abgelehnt.

We stayed at Hennan Tawala and felt like 2nd class paying customers. Too many restrictions in pool facilities. They charge your card upon reservation non refundable and charge you $60/ day deposit upon check in. Staff are on edge because there are cameras watching their every move. Will not recommend this resort. Not for the money they charge.

I would highly recommend the Henann Tawala Resort to anyone who wants to stay in a hotel that sets very high service standards and excellent facilities.Location is perfect,close to lots of eateries and some shopping.The rooms are very clean,modern and have everything that you need.The resort’s grounds are well maintained so are all the pool areas.From the time you check in to the time you check out you are really looked after.A special mention to the front desk staff who went above and beyond to make my Birthday a special one during my stay.I am very impressed with this Resort and give it a 10/10.Well Done

I've been to Panglao Bohol many times, stayed at places basically right there in the area when it was being built. I decided to stay there and check it out, and must say I don't regret it. It's acceptable to everything, the beach, stores and restaurants. Especially liked my room, where you can walk out to the patio and there's steps to get in the pool. Breakfast is top excellent. Highly recommend to others going to Panglou.

Henann is very renowned hotel chain and this place was very nice, clean, cozy with cheerful/gentle staff. I enjoyed my stay here so much. One thing was the swimming pool was a bit smaller than expected, warm pool was not filled with warm water, the beach was a bit far away - we had to go out of the hotel and walk for 5-10 minutes through the Henann Alona Beach area. Other than that everything was very good.

The buffet breakfast lacked in comparison to other Hennan properties I visited, mainly the egg, pancake and waffle choices being lukewarm to cold on the egg products along with cold pancakes and hard tochew waffels with a syrup that was to thick to cover the cakes or waffles

The staff and restaurant has international standards. I purchased the breakfast buffet which was worth the price . I felt safe dining inside the hotel versus going to restaurants outside. Panglao is not Palawan or Boracay. If you want a better swimming beach, this is NOT the beach. Balicasag island again is NOT PALAWAN or Boracay or Siargao. But Hennan , is great for lodging, breakfast was great and worth to purchase , dinner buffet- meh , the food was just not well presented and not so tasty. Pasta was mushy, and the Alfredo sauce was just pasty. I would just to the Ala cart versus the expensive dinner buffet

I was surprised by the kind of breakfast that was somewhat less than the price. I stayed at other hotels too, but I was surprised by the small number of types for the price. If I can't increase the type, I think it would be reasonable if I cut the price in half.

The room bathroom towels were stained. The coffee in the room was extremely stale. They charge extra to use the hotel gym. My flight arrived at 9:45am and I checked into the hotel at 10pm after 15hrs of flight travel to find out that room service finished at 9pm. Breakfast buffet food was not good at all, bacon was obviously stale and had been re-cooked/reheated many times, most of the other dishes were tasteless. I couldn't order a cappuccino as they said they didn't have a coffee machine, instant coffee only. I wouldn't recommend this resort hotel to friends or family. I paid good money to stay at a 5-star hotel but the bare minimum wasn't even included in the hotel services such as room service and use of the gym. Waste of money. I'd lower the star rating of this establishment cause it certainly isn't 5-star. I'll try another 5 star hotel in Panglao next time as this stay at Hennan Tawala was really disappointing.
