Views at the main bar/restaurant/pool were incredible.

Breakfast options were rather limited. The room had some issues with mosquitoes, and the air conditioning and lights occasionally didn’t work as expected, which made it a bit difficult to rest well. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful, though the breakfast service could be improved. We were also informed about monkeys in the area, and indeed, they could access the bathroom space, so it’s good to keep that in mind. If you’re comfortable with geckos, mosquitoes, and the occasional monkey visiting during your stay, this place might be suitable. However, the lighting around the property was quite dim, and the stone walls were rather rough — we even got a few scrapes from them. There was also construction taking place across from our room on the roof, and with the open shower design, it felt a little lacking in privacy. Overall, it wasn’t the most restful stay for us, and we decided to move elsewhere for a night just to have a better sleep.

We really like the hotel, two nice swimming pools, a big bathroom and a bed with net covering to protect from insects It does not have direct access to the beach, but it's very close. It's a popular beach and sometimes can be dirty with trash, but I still liked it. The resort food is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful Management was very un flexible when we tried to modify our stay, but at least we got a complimentary transportation to the airport

Really nice hotel in all aspect. Loved their dedikation to be ECO conscious. Only minor remark is that the path down to our room was poorly lit. Otherwise nice facilities, lovely staff and great service.

Staff were really friendly, we benefited hugely by being able to stay till the evening before our flight at midnight. Would highly recommend this hotel and their massages are very good.

I’d like to leave a review of Suarga Resort in Bali. Overall, it was a positive experience, but there are definitely areas that could be improved — and this message is meant in that spirit. The resort has many great qualities, but certain aspects felt uncomfortable and not quite up to the standard one might expect from a place of this category. One of the main issues was the excessive number of paid extras — even for small things like certain breakfast items. It would be much more guest-friendly to include these, as the current approach creates unnecessary discomfort. Another concern was the swimming pool. The water seemed to have been treated with an excessive amount of bleach instead of chlorine, which caused all our swimsuits to turn yellow. Our children, who spent hours in the pool, often came out with red eyes. A better balance in pool maintenance would really help. Lighting around the paths to the rooms and inside the bathrooms is quite limited. Every step should be well-lit to prevent accidents, especially at night. Additionally, the rooms could use more hooks and hangers — small details that make a big difference in comfort and practicality. Service overall was good, though at times a bit slow. Special mention goes to Maria and Yumi at the front desk — both incredibly kind and helpful. The massage at the spa was excellent as well. Great architecture, fantastic views. Loved watching the sunset from the infinity pool, overlooking Padang Padang beach. Quiet - you can't hear traffic, only the ocean. Stayed in the Ulin area of the hotel and loved the style, the walls turn into shutters and it's a great indoor/outdoor experience. The air/humidity system they have under the mosquito nets above the beds makes a hugely positive difference. The bathroom is less outdoor than the average Balinese hotel. Things to improve: - update the design of the furniture in the bar area and soft furnishings (e.g. cushions) throughout - at the included breakfast more attention needed to make sure the buffet has enough glasses, cutlery and napkins; keep better track and improve the speed of the food orders; consistency in food preparation (same egg dish varied wildly in quality on different days) - cocktails were mostly rum based, perhaps personal taste but I wanted more gin based options - spa Balinese massage was below expectations considering the almost triple price over what we paid in Ubud for a 3x better massage; no privacy in the spa area (outdoors, the gardener or guests sitting on the edge of the pool could see you getting changed); - have a signature scent to be used on the refreshment towels, toiletries, mosquito repellent on offer Surroundings: - very conveniently located next to Padang Padang beach - pharmacy nearby - useful for that surf lesson sun burn... - conveniently located on the main road, yet quiet

A beautiful hotel... Beautiful pool and great sunsets. We throughly enjoyed our stay

The location of this resort is incredible and the view is out of this world, I could never get bored of sitting by the main pool looking out at the 180degree views of the ocean. The pools are also amazing, although there were meant to be 3 but 1 was demolished which you don't find out until you arrive. And the service is very good although many of the employees were trainees, so things were slow. The restaurant food is very overpriced for what it is but the breakfasts are good. The rooms are small and dark and there seems to be an issue with plumbing which makes the rooms damp and mouldy - the stone walls are literally growing thick mould and our bed sheets smelt of mould and had mould on them. The showers and bathroom floors are unhygienic as the water just sits under timber slats, which rot because they have turned soft. Everything falls under the guise of eco-friendly but the prices should reflect this and it needs to be explained on the website and not only during the walk through from front desk.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They asked for our credit card at check in, took to the back to make copies without asking (no other hotel in bali did this, their excuse was its a bank requirement). The bellhop stares expecting a tip when we didn't request him. Towels were dirty with mud and other's hair. Bed canopy had dirt and suspicious reddish/brown stains (i.e. possibly blood). The walls had gaping holes to the outside (their excuse: its "sustainably engineered"). No air conditioning other than some vent installed on the bed. The safe box is not attached. No screens on the windows. HERE'S WHERE IT GETS BAD. We booked a romantic sunset dinner elsewhere. Upon leaving for it, we found the lock on the door was broken. We spent an hour waiting as the "engineer" fumbled around (it just needed batteries). The sun had set and we missed our dinner. Two separate manager's came by (we were livid), saying they would make it right, we asked them not to do ANYTHING. When we got back from our LATE dinner, we found our room entered and our belongings moved around (the opposite of what we asked). At 5am I wake up to my fiance screaming due to a giant cockroach on her toothbrush. That was the last straw. We called the hotel, no answer (Per manager, theres no 24 hour service!) We spent 6 hours on the phone with expedia, our credit card, and the hotel once they finally answered. Hotel refused to refund us for the miserable 12 hours we survived before leaving! Don't pay for this broken product!

All the staff were very kind and the property was beautiful. However, the hot water wasn’t always available, and I recommend bringing mosquito repellent. The breakfast was amazing!

I chose Suarga Padang Padang for its beautiful design and eco-friendly ethos, and while the service from the staff was warm and responsive, my overall experience was deeply disappointing. On our very first night, we encountered a severe roach infestation in our room — we found at least 10 roaches, which was shocking and unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. We immediately contacted the front desk, and to their credit, they responded quickly and attempted to fumigate the room. However, the infestation was so extensive that it was impossible to relax or sleep that night. Despite the property’s unique appeal and the staff’s efforts, the presence of roaches completely undermined our stay. For such a premium rate, I expected a clean and restful environment — not a sleepless night and a pest problem. The only compensation offered was a couple of complimentary cocktails, which felt insufficient after such a disturbing experience. I genuinely wanted to love this place, but cleanliness is non-negotiable. Until this issue is properly addressed, I cannot recommend Suarga to other travelers.

Air conditioning unit not functioning well. Poor quality room condition. Had to request for an AC portable unit but this unit operated like a fan. I didn’t sleep Comfortably at this hotel.

Unterkunft hat keine 4,5*! -Papier mit 10 Punkten soll unterzeichnet werden bei Check-in, aber keine Zeit gelassen, es zu lesen - "Hütte" mit Ritzen/ Spalten bei den Türen / in den Wänden wo alle Insekten inkl. kleiner Tiere ins Zimmer kommen können, Ameisen gehören zum Inventar - Moskitonetz mit Löchern - Nachts SEHR LAUT, direkt neben der Hauptstraße, viel Hupen, Hunde bellen, morgens kräht der Hahn - nicht barrierefrei, Wege schlecht beleuchtet - beim Frühstück wurde die schmutzige Tischdecke einfach umgedreht und die Brösel der Vorgänger mit der Hand runtergefegt - Frühstück quasi NICHT inklusive, nur 1 sehr kleines "Gericht" von der Karte auswählbar, Buffet seeehr klein, zu unserer Zeit quasi leergefuttert, Getränke außer balinesischer Tee / Kaffee kosten alle extra - während dem Frühstück sollten wir 3x eine offene Rechnung vom Vortag begleichen, welche definitiv nicht von uns war, da wir am Vortag erst angereist waren. Erst als wir schon fast die Stimme erheben mussten, wurden wir endlich damit in Ruhe gelassen. Die Rechnung war von den vorherigen Gästen unseres Zimmers. - Bettwäsche, Handtücher mit Flecken - kein warmes Wasser mehr, wenn die anderen Hotelgäste zu viel verbrauchen, duschen mit kalten Wasser draußen mit kaltem Wind sehr kalt und unangenehm - überall schmutziges Geschirr von der Bar - Gäste von außen benutzen die Bar, daher ist es nicht enstpannt am Pool.

It's a hard property to review! It's very pretty with exquisite views and a sense of connection to the ocean. I love the bamboo-built common area and bar. The villa is very Balinese and looks pretty too. However... No in-room coffee, no in-room tissue, lots of in-room cockroaches, no luggage stand, poorly lit, food pricing is stupid, breakfast is minimal and any extra food or coffee is chargeable. I find the hotel to be in complete contradiction to all the other Bali properties. It's pretty but is very low value.

Pool area was beautiful and the staff were very attentive. The food was ok, but I think given how expensive it was compared to the places locally, the quality could have been better. The local restaurants were excellent, so we chose to go out more after an average bbq experience there. The rooms are lovely and in great condition- only comment would be that there is no chair or surfaces in the bedroom areas, so it’s hard to keep the room tidy. Also only a mirror in the outdoor bathroom which has poor lighting in the evening, so getting ready is a bit of a challenge. A full length mirror and a chair in the bedroom would instantly sort those issues out!

What I liked was the friendly staff, pool, bathrooms, and the Suarga Water bottles. Couple of things that can be improved are, hot water unavailability in the morning for shower, and lack of insulation in the room which makes it difficult to sleep after 7am.

The Suarga has fantastic views and being in an ocean view villa ensured that we made the most of them. The Ulin villa was delightful and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. As the facilities are very minimal our 4 night stay was long enough. The staff were friendly and helpful and attended to our needs.

I stayed in a Muso room. The room and property are very well maintained and looked after. However, the walls were paper thin. At 3am last night some guests arrived next door to me. They were very loud for over an hour… The staff were excellent and the view from the pool was sublime. This was my second visit to Suarga, if I stayed there again, I wouldn’t choose a Muso room.

Excellent location, plenty of dining options within walking distance. Padang Padang beach less than one minute walk. Stunning views from pool area and restaurant/bar, perfect location for sunsets. We were in Ulin room with a sea view. Room spacious, amazing air conditioned bed. However no other air conditioning in room. Large bathroom however lighting not that good at night. Advised not to leave belongings in bathroom and keep all doors secure - we didn’t have any problems with monkeys or any other creatures in our room. We would definitely stay here again, would highly recommend.

Indonesia is very hot and humid. We stayed in a villa down near the bottom pool. Sleeping was comfortable in the airconditioned sleeping pod however in the bathroom is is hard to feel comfortable as the heat is overwhelming and I come from Brisbane Australia - known for it's humidity. Further there is electrical plug in the bathroom so you cannot dry or style hair. Then no mirror near electical switch in sleeping pod or bedroom area. There is also no where to sit in the room so you need to sit outside. The lighting is very romantic however impossible if you want to apply make up.

Das Suarga ist wirklich klasse und jedem zu empfehlen! Du hast einen wirklichen, einmaligen Ausblick über das Meer, siehst tausende Surfer und kannst die größten Strand Hotspots von oben aus sehen. Die Zimmer sind auf balinesische Art und Weise stilvoll und luxuriös ausgestattet. Außerdem betreibt jedes Häuschen mit seinen eigenen Solaranlagen Strom und das Bett erzeugt durch ein spezielles Innenleben, eigens die Kühle, die man selbst verstellen kann; so wie man es will (nie mehr geschlossene Nase) Außerdem wird man täglich zweimal mit einem sauberen Zimmer überrascht. Wir haben hier unsere 1. Unterkunft unserer Flitterwochen vollbracht und ich würde es weiterhin wieder tun! Tipp: Englischkenntnisse sollten vorhanden sein und man sollte sich unbedingt zuvor mit Roller fahren vertraut machen.

Fantastic structure, exceptional location and sea view. Excellent service and quality and cleanliness in general. Positive note the attention to the environment. The only negative note is the lack of a kettle in the room, having to pay for the espresso at breakfast and the noise of our room (we were close to the road full of scooters and trucks) I recommend a room away from the road.

Nice villas with patio overlooking the ocean. Each unit is pretty much just a bed with hidden door leading to bathroom. Windows have no glass panels and only blinds but openings them would invite bugs into the room.

Me gustó que había donde guardar la tabla de surf de mi hijo. Me gustó que nos prepararon y llevaron un desayuno madrugador para el día solicitado. El hotel en general está muy lindo. Nos reservaron los taxis a la hora requerida y fueron en general todos muy atentos y amables. Mi única queja es que cierran la piscina demasiado temprano (7 pm), y el proceso de “check in” tomó bastante tiempo (te hacen una explicación del hotel y del cuarto y de cómo funciona todo). Así que cuando fuimos a la piscina ya no nos querían dejar entrar. Tuvimos que alegar y discutir con los encargados, lo que NO es agradable cuando lo que buscas es relajarte y disfrutar de tus vacaciones.

We had a bad stay. From the check-in service that was not good, they never explained how the hotel worked to us, to when we wanted to check out and there were no people at the reception at 6 am. Very uncomfortable bathroom outside the dark room. We bought a CocaCola at the bar and when it arrived a bee felt inside the glass., we asked for it to be changed and they wanted to charge us. The breakfast is terrible, they charge you separately for everything. We expected much more from the hotel. We leave with a bad feeling.

Suarga Padang Padang gave us one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives. They helped make my surprise engagement absolutely unforgettable, handling every detail with such intention, care, and warmth. What could have been a simple stay turned into a moment we will cherish forever. The views are breathtaking, the villas are designed with elegance and soul, and the staff made us feel like family. Dining at Dugong as the sun set over the ocean was the perfect finishing touch. We are forever grateful to the Suarga team for going above and beyond to make this stay so special.

The property was nice but we had money stolen out of our room and the hotel did nothing to about it nor did they accommodate us in any way for the $200.00 USD that went missing. I wasn't very impressed with their response....but the room was nice, the views were spectacular and the hotel is centrally located to the beach and shops.

We stayed in the Villa. Overall experience was great except I could not believe that when we requested a bucket of ice. They make you pay for a bucket of ice??? We spent $3000 in a villa, and they charged for ice. Unheard of! Also, the food in the restaurant is okay! Better off eating outside of the resort.

Panoramik okyanus manzarasına karşı havuzda yüzmek, sürdürülebilir koşullarda bir tatil istiyorsanız bu otel size göre. Otel personeli her konuda yardımcı oldu. Konumu çok iyi. Padang Padang plajı hemen yanınızda. Restoran ve kafeler dibinizde. Teşekkür ederiz.

Lovely place to stay. Fantastic location with views overlooking the sea. Very friendly staff, especially Andre on reception and John in the restaurant. But all the staff were fantastic.

O quarto do lado East é menos silenciosa pois fica mais perto da rua.

The hotel is beautiful and you really can't beat the views from the pool and restaurant area. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The location is ok, possible to walk to a few places but towards the other direction there are no sidewalks at all so really need to have a scooter or get a taxi. The restaurant at the hotel is only ok, quite over priced though and the breakfast was so average that we ended up not bothering and just went elsewhere for nice coffee and food.

Proximity to Padang Padang Beach and the afternoon sunsets, overlooking surfers, is incredible. Food and beverage pricing is higher than the surrounding restaurants.

Things to improve: - update the design of the furniture in the bar area and soft furnishings (e.g. cushions) throughout - at the included breakfast more attention needed to make sure the buffet has enough glasses, cutlery and napkins; keep better track and improve the speed of the food orders; consistency in food preparation (same egg dish varied wildly in quality on different days) - cocktails were mostly rum based, perhaps personal taste but I wanted more gin based options - spa Balinese massage was below expectations considering the almost triple price over what we paid in Ubud for a 3x better massage; no privacy in the spa area (outdoors, the gardener or guests sitting on the edge of the pool could see you getting changed); - have a signature scent to be used on the refreshment towels, toiletries, mosquito repellent on offer Surroundings: - very conveniently located next to Padang Padang beach - pharmacy nearby - useful for that surf lesson sun burn... - conveniently located on the main road, yet quiet

We loved staying at suarga. The air curtain, air conditioning is amazing. The rooms are lovely with plantation shutters allowing privacy but airflow, bed was comfortable. 2 pools beach access next door. Plenty of restaurants close by.Staff amazing as was breakfast. Highly recommend hotel

Expedia up sold me to a lager room room of 80 sqm with an ocean view On arrival our room was less than half that size and no ocean view. It was nevertheless beautiful and I don’t blame the hotel - Expedia ripped me off! And it’s not the first time. It’s a beautiful place to stay with views that cannot be bettered. Drinks and food are extremely expensive( more like 5 star $) for a 4 star resort So eat and drink out would be my advice

One of the most beautiful exquisite resorts i have ever been to. The rooms and view were some of the best in bali. The food was amazing. The service so kind amd sweet. This feels more like a 5 star that a 4 star.

We had a bad stay. From the check-in service that was not good, they never explained how the hotel worked to us, to when we wanted to check out and there were no people at the reception at 6 am. Very uncomfortable bathroom outside the dark room. We bought a CocaCola at the bar and when it arrived a bee felt inside the glass., we asked for it to be changed and they wanted to charge us. The breakfast is terrible, they charge you separately for everything. We expected much more from the hotel. We leave with a bad feeling.

Loved our stay here. The restaurant staff are great but food is very average - breakfast wasn’t good at all. Plus to be charged extra for a cappuccino ( 65k ) is ridiculous when paying 600 AUD a night. They’d be better off capping it at one per person. If they were to over haul breakfast and restaurant food then it would be a big improvement. It’s a shame as the view is incredible but we went out for every meal as the food was so bad compared to the phenomenal restaurants around.

Proximity to Padang Padang Beach and the afternoon sunsets, overlooking surfers, is incredible. Food and beverage pricing is higher than the surrounding restaurants.

Minha estadia foi maravilhosa. Como surfista, vim a Bali com um amigo em busca de ondas. O lugar é lindo, com uma vista para o mar de tirar o fôlego, e as piscinas de borda infinita proporcionam um visual incrível. Todos os dias, o pôr do sol é acompanhado por músicas clássicas americanas e lounge music ao vivo. Local perfeito para famílias, casais, amigos e negócios. Há um quarto para pranchas de surf separado do bangalô. Café da manhã, almoço e jantar com pratos italianos e indonésios, além de lanches, sucos e água de coco. Também são oferecidos todos os tipos de bebidas. Além do mais, o quarto é limpo duas vezes por dia. E a equipe do hotel está sempre sorridente, agradecida e oferecendo o melhor atendimento.

We stayed in the Villa. Overall experience was great except I could not believe that when we requested a bucket of ice. They make you pay for a bucket of ice??? We spent $3000 in a villa, and they charged for ice. Unheard of! Also, the food in the restaurant is okay! Better off eating outside of the resort.

Property was beautiful, on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food prices, and services were ridiculously overpriced for the area. We live in Los Angeles right on the ocean, and the food/alcohol prices were equivalent to the hyper inflated prices in our area. But worse because the serving sizes were smaller than our local restaurants and lower quality. If you ordered a glass of white wine for example, they would pour it into a smaller than normal white wine glass and only fill it half way. Very frustrating and felt like we were being taken advantage of, considering the prices of food and services at other hotels and restaurants in the area. Finally, on our last day, we ordered breakfast right before being taken to the airport and both my son and I got food poisoning. We know it was the breakfast because it was our first meal of the day and did not eat anything else before getting violently sick. We both ordered the eggs and suspect that was the culprit. If you are going to inflate your prices to insulting levels, your kitchen better be able to practice the highest level of food handling integrity. Will not recommend this property and will not be returning. The only reason we gave any stars for this hotel is because the property itself was beautiful and most of the staff were wonderful. As for the management, I would give them zero stars for insulting their customers.
