Nice location, looks good on the outside, easy parking, bed good, shower good, comfortable interior temperature and pleasant atmosphere (air), service very good. Negatives- toilet seat loose, bathroom door drags on floor, tv had lines through screen and refrigerator worked but bably yellowed. Overall would stay again because of good price, location and service.

I had a 2 night stay and only stayed 1 night, spoke to the person who checked us in and informed him that the rugs were dirty and stained, the bedding was ripped on both beds, the mattress cover was stained and very worn there was no hand or body soap, the refrigerator was filthy my husband is a diabetic and his medicine needed to be kept in fridge so I had to sleep in the car and keep it running every so often to keep the electric cooler cold enough I sent a message to the property and I spoke to the man who checked us in and asked him to speak to the owner and ask him can he please refunded us for the second night since the room was so bad and unclean, we did not return to the room for the second night and let them know that.

Hotel was dirty, smelled and had no shampoo or soap for shower. i was on road for 2 days needed a place to stay and thought since it was the only place in st charles on expedia it would be ok. At least I got some sleep!

Whats good about the stay; affordable rate. What can improve; staff told us to not touch the thermostats. Sheets were dity. Dead bugs in the room. Dishes were dirty. A lot of things were broken in the room and falling apart.

The toilet still had evidence of the previous occupant and the room smelled like mold. When my husband told staff we could not stay there five minutes after checking in, they would only refund one night's stay - they told him that was Expedia's rules. I will not use Expedia again.

Bathroom was clean but floors were not, garbage found under bed. No soap in the bathroom, or really anything in regards to disposable cups or Kleenex even. I've stayed in sketchy places but this really took the cake. Idk why I paid a $20/pet/night... It's not like they could have made it worse. Also paid more than quoted on here. I'm usually not very hard to please but this was not great. Also random loose dog outside on the propertywhen I was trying to walk mine.

There was a dirty mask in the trash can when I arrived. The floor in the bathroom was dirty. No one came in to refresh the room between the dates of my stay. When complaints were made; we were told they “ were going through some stuff”. I will not stay there again.

Bedbugs!!! Do not stay here. The room was disgusting. I’m not a high class girl, but I expect to the room to at least be clean, and the bedding to be washed. Absolutely horrified to pull the bedding and find a bed bug and stains on the bedding.

The beds were good, shower was OK. Just a very small bar of soap and shampoo, I couldn't find them but my wife did. No place to plug in a phone charger except the bathroom.

claustrophobic shower was so tight it was impossible to bend over. Room was very quiet. The motel has a good variety of cable stations. The warped bathroom door doesn't close completely. Location is perfect for those going to the Winona County Fair across the street.

Check in was easy. Desk clerk (owner) courteous . Room was average clean. Room was very cold. Hot water heaters appeared not to function, only heat was from a small electric baseboard heater. Extra blankets had an odd smell. Probably not used since last winter.

Rooms floor was filthy, floor was not level. Beds were clean, has microwave I did not use and apt size fridge worked great. Bathroom was small. Did not know about the reservation from previous day, but luckily had one room left.

The check in person was very nice and very understanding, because I missed placed my drivers license. This is an older motel but more than adequate for a man attending Gladiolus Days in St. Charles. Clean and the Air Conditioner worked Great for the Hottest weekend this year. I will stay again next year.

This hotel is old and in bad shape. The bathroom was extremely small, and badly in need of renovation. The rate quoted was not the rate that we were charged; it was significantly higher. Checked out a day early, and on-site manager told me he only had authority to charge, not to refund, even though he told me that checking out a day earlier would be no problem. Ended up paying a lot more for two nights in a dumpy hotel.
