We came here to take our kids swimming shopping. Pool was closed for cleaning but due to re open at noon which was our check out time. Probably clean the pool on a weekday when you’re not as busy or possible let your guest know at check in?

Overall my fiancé and I had a great time. The hot tub wasn’t very hot but we didn’t mind too much. Parking is very limited since the hotel is in a shopping center and there isn’t a sign saying hotel parking only that we saw but we were eventually able to find a spot. The breakfast was very good.

Great stay. Spacious, clean and updated rooms. Inviting lobby. Friendly staff. Breakfast had lots of choices. Kids loved the pool. It s a little small but we had it all to ourselves. It was warm enough for them to stay in it for a while and not try to just take over the hot tub. The hot tub was nice and hot! So many aren’t hot enough. Walkable to many restaurants and so many stores in outdoor mall. A grocery store is walkable. High end shampoo/ conditioner. Would definitely stay here again.

Highlight is breakfast - variety of healthy/premium options and environmentally conscious (real plates, silverwares, glasses unlike plastics at other places like Springhill Marriott). We stayed here for 2 nights, specifically want to call out Olga who was tirelessly working to make sure guests are satisfied with breakfast experience. We went to Lagoon which was like 10 minutes drive from hotel, so convenient. Lowlight is parking, which was a bit confusing and you can get towed away by parking at wrong place as this hotel is in mall area. However, good spot if your primary focus is shopping.

Hotel is integrated into a shopping area, so plenty of chain stores. *the rubber shower mat had visible mold on both top and bottom. Hotel room was beautiful, loved that the pool towels were larger than a standard towel. Everything was VERY clean. Wi-fi was fast, breakfast was great. Mattress in the room was VERY firm (if you like a firm mattress this place is for you).

Been staying at this hotel for about 5 years now when we travel to this area for business. We had booked a trip in two parts first part on my corp. card, second part on my husbands. Got in around 9:30 PM lugged all our luggage to our room, to discover hair on each of our beds as well as the washcloth that was hanging in the bthrm was stained. The walls were dirty with splatter marks in various areas, overall felt dirty. For the rate per night I found this unacceptable! We promptly checked out, I was told that the manager would have to approve my refund the following day (which they did) This unfortunately doesn not change the fact that I didn't get to bed until 1:30 AM by the time we found suitable, alternative accommodations. This was awful since I had a big presentation the following day, when I tried to get the second half of our trip (booked on my husband's card) refunded I was met with flippant, staff and extremely poor customer service not willing to work with me at all since I had booked through Expedia. I ended up losing $$ through this whole experience which I find extremely unfair seeing as what was provided. Will not be staying her again and will definitely be spreading the word. Do better Hyatt Place.

Hyatt Place Salt Lake City/Farmington/Station Park is an excellent location - primary reason we chose it. Many shops/restaurants are short walking distance. Service is just okay. Break is offered, but food is not of high quality. One very frustrating issue was with TV signal constantly going in and out and the staff's seeming non desire to truly investigate and resolve. This was happening in multiple rooms.

Location is excellent. That said, the room smelled like someone sprayed it with perfume/scented lotion. Asked the front desk what could be done, but was told it was likely they all smelled that way and it was the last room with queen beds. They suggested running the shower to help with my asthma. The beds were uncomfortable to the point my son chose to sleep on the pull out couch. The blanket for the pull out wasn't clean. It appeared to have chocolate (hopefully chocolate) or something on it. The fridge wasn't cool enough to keep the food cold and the connections for the TV didn't work.

If you enjoy fun shopping and lots of good eating choices and a terrific hotel location this is the place to stay. Great place! Rooms nice. Breakfast good & dining area large. Easy & free parking. So much fun! Only slight nuisance is the bathroom door. It's glass & in the middle of the night if someone turns on bathroom light it lights up the entire sleeping area. Bring eye mask. Very minor. I'd stay here every time!

The staff and breakfast was quite good. However, in our 4-day stay, our room was frequently without heat. On one day, the holiday, no one was on duty to fix it. When the crew came back, the heat was on for some hours and then didn’t return until 4 AM on the day we were checking out. December in Salt Lake is typically in the 20’s -30’s- too cold for problem heat.

We showed up finally found a parking spot way out away from the hotel, go our room andnthwnnwentntongetbsomthing honeybee to the fact there is a massive amount of retail stores around this hotel when we returned we had to park farther away from the hotel than we originally did. The next day which was a Saturday we left the hotel to go and enjoy ourselves when we returned it was impossible to find a spot near the hotel due to the restaurants and retail stores. That evening it was about 80 degrees outside and the air conditioner stoped working in the hotel room. The next morning we checked out spoke to the person at the counter they said they’d give us $50 refund but we had to call and talk to a manager the next day (Monday). We never called them, it wasn’t worth the effort. All in all not very pleased with the hotel or the parking. It was supposed to be a bit more on the upscale side and it was really a horrible experience.

What’s the purpose of locking the doors. We arrived bags in our arms ready to check in couldn’t get in the doors Hit the call button 4 times hot no response has to ask someone in the parking lot if they had a key to open the doors so we could get inside the hotel. Reservations made over a month in advanced. Poor way of doing business would rather wait inside for available employees to check us in than stand out side in the doorway. Poor business practices. Winner staying here again.

Staff was rude as all get out when checking in. I had an early check in. Staff wasn’t very accommodating even after I got it approved and paid the extra fee. Then when we were checking in staff was helping us and asked us to step aside so she could help somebody else after she started helping us. When she finally did help us she was very rude. Almost as if we weren’t worth her time. Unexpectable! Later after we settled in and were going down to the pool again she was very rude telling us that it was only for paying customers and that we needed a card key to get in. Just rude all the way around!

This was our second stay at this location. It is in the Station Park shopping center, with its various shops and restaurants, and is also adjacent to Univerity of Utah Hospital's satellite care center. The hotel is clean and up-to-date, and the staff is friendly. It is far enough away from the freeway that our is quiet.

The hotel was nice. The entrance was super confusing. You walk into a wall with a set of stairs off to the right. There was no sign. You had to go upstairs to check in which was fine but weird. The bed was not comfy. The room was clean. Breakfast was terrible. Cold powdered eggs and potatoes. Pulled a glass mug for some cocoa and it was really dirty inside so we got a paper cup instead. I won’t stay here again. Not worth the extra money.

Air conditioning went out at midnight on 1st of 2 nights. Moved to another room at 2:30am. No offer made for any rate reduction or anything else. Restaurant claims to have 24/7 service, but all we had choice of at 10 pm on Sunday was a pre-made Caesar salad or a frozen pepperoni pizza.

Terrible Breakfast very bland no flavor. Most breakfast items were out when we arrived around 8am. I'd rather pay more for a nicer breakfast. Coffee was terrible as well. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
