Off the tourist trail of Amalfi coast. This gem of a hotel and resort is untouched by the large tourist areas of sorrento and beyond. The facilities boast access to the local beach club with a fantastic restaurant underneath the hotel (best meal we had). Lovely people, weather great and the local Grangano to die for. Please dont let the popularity of Amalfi/Atrani/Positano reach Seiano

We booked Palazzo Murrano after reading the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our choice! What a lovely boutique hotel, very spacious, clean and bright rooms with lovely sea views. Situated on the harbour it gives easy access to buses, ferries and some lovely restaurants. It also has Murrano Mare a beach area to relax and sun bathe with a restaurant and waiter service- wonderful! The very best part of our stay however were the staff at the hotel. Alfonso is a superb host, he was in contact with us via email soon after we booked our stay to help and advise on trips to book and places to visit . He welcomed us on arrival and showed us around and gave us all of the information we needed. He had already booked 2 full day trips with a driver ( Libero) to visit Herculaneum, Pompeii and a super wine tasting at Russo wines (day 1) and Ravello, the Emerald cave and lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. ( day 2 )Libero was a brilliant driver/guide who was very personable and provided great insight into local life. He ensured our 2 days were very relaxed and stress free. We would definitely recommend his services. Alfonso was always on hand to suggest and arrange trips. We felt very looked after at all times thanks to Alfonso. We must also mention Nella who provided a wonderful array of breakfast options every morning which we enjoyed on the roof terrace. Breathtaking views, extremely helpful staff (especially Alfonso), ample air conditioning (esp. in August), easy access to pier with lounge chairs and the water! But you need to rent a car, or use a taxi or bus to get around.

We enjoyed our Stay at Palazzo Murrano. Alfonso & Giuseppe were wonderful hosts going out of their way to accommodate. Breakfast in the morning was enjoyed on the roof top which was a nice perk and a great way to start the day. The beach club access was a wonderful amenity of the Hotel. Restaurants in the area varied in quality and service. Ferry to Sorrento was easy access from the Marina. Thank you Palazzo Marina Team.

Struttura molto carina con la disponibilità del servizio spiaggia (una bellissima piattaforma di lusso che ti fa sembrare di stare in barca in mezzo al mare), colazione varia ed ottima (la caprese al limone era buonissima). Il parcheggio convenzionato è a pochi metri dell'Hotel in un campeggio. Di fronte all'hotel c'è anche il capolinea dell'autobus che vi porta al centro di Vico Equense ed alla stazione della circunvesuviana. Qualche difetto: - Le camere al primo piano (la mia), sono proprio sulla strada ed un pò rumorose, la mattina presto si crea un pò di casino con le persone che prendono le barche che hanno ormeggiato, però se sei chiuso con l'aria condizionata non senti niente. - Un Hotel di questo livello che ti dà il Telo Mare, lettini e ciabatte monouso in camera potrebbe anche permettersi di non chiedere 7€ per l'ombrellone, a volte ci si perde nei particolari. Nel complesso il mio giudizio è molto positivo e ci tornerei

The hotel was very clean & the staff was extremely friendly. The marina area had about 10 places to choose from as far as food. There were two public beaches & the beach club as options for swimming. The breakfast was on the roof & had a good assortment of things to eat. The view from the room was great. There was a bus to bring you to town but it was very unreliable. They helped us arrange our ferry transfer to our next stop. Would definitely recommend.

The Palazzo Murano is a jewel in the shoreline part of Vico Equense. Situated opposite Vico Mare (the main pier), and nestled in the nook of the mountain, the rooms are fabulous; pretty, modern, clean, and comfortable. The linens were clean, and the towels were fluffy and clean. Compared to bigger cities, the lower part of Vico Equense is quiet with just the right mixture of nearby restaurants, pizza shops, gelato shops, and convenient transportation. The hotelier, Alphonse, is a marvelous host, providing transportation for us each of three days, with several drivers, at less than Uber rates. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. My wife and I highly recommend Palazzo Murrano, and Alphonse!

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean, the breakfast offered was very good. Alphonso and Giuseppe were always willing to assist us with local directions and offering advice on local tours. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Vico Equense area. It sits right on the sea and the view is spectacular.

A cute lil boutique hotel in a small seaside town. The staff was amazing and gave great recommendations and overall service. It was clean and quiet. The room felt a lil sparse and could use some redecorating to maximize the space and needed an upgrade, in terms of the furniture. The bathroom was big, the shower was awesome and loved the vibe lights, but needed more counter space. We’d have liked a bigger tv. It was very small and placed off to the side of the room. The balcony was beautiful and we loved our sea view! The breakfast buffet was decent, mostly pastries. Transportation in the area was difficult but the staff was helpful with the trains and bus routes. Overall, a great stay.

Great place to stay. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. They make you feel at home and like your part of the family. The front desk staff very helpful and Alfonso is super great with giving tips on things to do in your stay. Francesco is great with giving advice where to eat or what to do in the night. The view is amazing and super clean hotel. Breakfast is great also the ladies cook really good, they give you a lot of options to pick for breakfast. They make a great coffee everything was excellent. 10/10. The staff make sure your safe getting to the hotel and going to the airport.

The room was extremely clean and the management were so helpful in organising public transport. We paid the maid to take us to the train station because we couldn’t get a taxi. They organised this. There was a good range of food for breakfast and we could see the seas and Vesuvius from our bedroom window. You have to walk up a hill to get to the train station and then you can get to Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii

We had a lovely stay. Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with modern furnishing, well equipped kitchen, clean and well maintained. There was no parking on site so we had to park at the St Antonio camp site a few hundred meters away. Not too much of an issue. Unfortunately, the sea was too rough to swim during our stay. The location was good as Seiano is much quieter and Vico Equense is a short hike uphill (uneven stone steps). Sorrento is around a 30min drive during the peak summer season and I don’t recommend Positano unless you’re willing to head out very early and battle for very limited parking spots!

We booked Palazzo Murrano after reading the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our choice! What a lovely boutique hotel, very spacious, clean and bright rooms with lovely sea views. Situated on the harbour it gives easy access to buses, ferries and some lovely restaurants. It also has Murrano Mare a beach area to relax and sun bathe with a restaurant and waiter service- wonderful! The very best part of our stay however were the staff at the hotel. Alfonso is a superb host, he was in contact with us via email soon after we booked our stay to help and advise on trips to book and places to visit . He welcomed us on arrival and showed us around and gave us all of the information we needed. He had already booked 2 full day trips with a driver ( Libero) to visit Herculaneum, Pompeii and a super wine tasting at Russo wines (day 1) and Ravello, the Emerald cave and lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. ( day 2 )Libero was a brilliant driver/guide who was very personable and provided great insight into local life. He ensured our 2 days were very relaxed and stress free. The Palazzo Murano is a jewel in the shoreline part of Vico Equense. Situated opposite Vico Mare (the main pier), and nestled in the nook of the mountain, the rooms are fabulous; pretty, modern, clean, and comfortable. The linens were clean, and the towels were fluffy and clean. Compared to bigger cities, the lower part of Vico Equense is quiet with just the right mixture of nearby restaurants, pizza shops, gelato shops, and convenient transportation. The hotelier, Alphonse, is a marvelous host, providing transportation for us each of three days, with several drivers, at less than Uber rates. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. My wife and I highly recommend Palazzo Murrano, and Alphonse!

We loved our stay at the property. The rooms are clean and updated with a nice balcony with stunning views. The owners were very accommodating and served a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. The area is small and quiet, but would make a great base for various excursions away from the crowds.

A cute lil boutique hotel in a small seaside town. The staff was amazing and gave great recommendations and overall service. It was clean and quiet. The room felt a lil sparse and could use some redecorating to maximize the space and needed an upgrade, in terms of the furniture. The bathroom was big, the shower was awesome and loved the vibe lights, but needed more counter space. We’d have liked a bigger tv. It was very small and placed off to the side of the room. The balcony was beautiful and we loved our sea view! The breakfast buffet was decent, mostly pastries. Transportation in the area was difficult but the staff was helpful with the trains and bus routes. Overall, a great stay.

Struttura molto carina con la disponibilità del servizio spiaggia (una bellissima piattaforma di lusso che ti fa sembrare di stare in barca in mezzo al mare), colazione varia ed ottima (la caprese al limone era buonissima). Qualche difetto: - Le camere al primo piano (la mia), sono proprio sulla strada ed un pò rumorose, la mattina presto si crea un pò di casino con le persone che prendono le barche che hanno ormeggiato, però se sei chiuso con l'aria condizionata non senti niente. - Un Hotel di questo livello che ti dà il Telo Mare, lettini e ciabatte monouso in camera potrebbe anche permettersi di non chiedere 7€ per l'ombrellone, a volte ci si perde nei particolari. We had a lovely stay. Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with modern furnishing, well equipped kitchen, clean and well maintained. There was no parking on site so we had to park at the St Antonio camp site a few hundred meters away. Not too much of an issue. Unfortunately, the sea was too rough to swim during our stay. The location was good as Seiano is much quieter and Vico Equense is a short hike uphill (uneven stone steps). Sorrento is around a 30min drive during the peak summer season and I don’t recommend Positano unless you’re willing to head out very early and battle for very limited parking spots!

We were immediately impressed by the message from management at Palazzo Murrano upon booking our trip. It was welcoming and informative. And the quick response to our questions, offering suggestions to make the best of our week on the Amalfi coast made us realize we made the perfect choice for our vacation! When we arrived (using the transportation they arranged), we were greeted and taken immediately to our room, the Amalfi Suite. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The balcony was beautiful, with views of the coast, and Vesuvius in the distance. We then went to breakfast, and was greeted by Nella with an espresso, fresh pastries, eggs, and more in the breakfast area on the 4th floor. She was there every morning at 7:30am to greet us with a smile! The entire staff was so friendly, and Alphonso the manager was always available to help. He arranged transportation to the local train station (10mins to Sorrento, 25mins to Pompeii, 60mins from Naples), booked our boat trip to Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi, and so much more. This resort is close to numerous local restaurants, their own pier that has sun chairs, food, and drinks, and is a great central location to see the Amalfi Coast! In a week we were able to visit Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and Pompeii. If you are looking for an intimate setting with excellent service and accomodations, this is the perfect place!

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean, the breakfast offered was very good. Alphonso and Giuseppe were always willing to assist us with local directions and offering advice on local tours. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Vico Equense area. Enjoyed a fabulous stay at Palazzo Murrano. Room was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful. One particular member of staff went far beyond the call of duty Alfonso, what a guy! He arranged the most fantastic trip for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We would definitely love to return at some point.

La chose la plus formidable de cette endroit c’est le service, le manager Alfonso fait tout son possible pour que vous ayez un séjour incroyable , il a même acheté un gâteau de fête pour ma femme. Si vous avez des demandes Alfonso sera là pour vous. Ce fût une lune de miel formidable merci Alfonso.

Great place to stay. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. They make you feel at home and like your part of the family. The front desk staff very helpful and Alfonso is super great with giving tips on things to do in your stay. Francesco is great with giving advice where to eat or what to do in the night. The view is amazing and super clean hotel. Breakfast is great also the ladies cook really good, they give you a lot of options to pick for breakfast. They make a great coffee everything was excellent. 10/10. The staff make sure your safe getting to the hotel and going to the airport.

The room was extremely clean and the management were so helpful in organising public transport. We paid the maid to take us to the train station because we couldn’t get a taxi. They organised this. There was a good range of food for breakfast and we could see the seas and Vesuvius from our bedroom window. You have to walk up a hill to get to the train station and then you can get to Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii

De très belles prestations pour ce petit hotel sur la marina de Vico Equense, loin des foules mais dans un village animé. Vue extraordinaire sur la baie de Naples et le Vesuve. Plages publiques et privées à proximité immédiate et point de départ pour les excursions en bateau à Capri et Amalfi. Vico centre est à 20 minutes à pieds par un chemin très sportif (surtout la première fois...après on s'y habitue) ou par des mini bus qui mènent à la gare. Sur la ligne Naples-Sorrente, hyper pratique pour tous les sites. Alfonso est d'une aide précieuse pour toutes les questions et le personnel est très aimable et accueillant. Great hotel. Everyone very helpful. Not a lot to do in the area but ferry to Capri is right in the marina. The train is a bit of a hike but coming back is all down hill.

We had a lovely stay. Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with modern furnishing, well equipped kitchen, clean and well maintained. There was no parking on site so we had to park at the St Antonio camp site a few hundred meters away. Not too much of an issue. Unfortunately, the sea was too rough to swim during our stay. The location was good as Seiano is much quieter and Vico Equense is a short hike uphill (uneven stone steps). Sorrento is around a 30min drive during the peak summer season and I don’t recommend Positano unless you’re willing to head out very early and battle for very limited parking spots!

Off the tourist trail of Amalfi coast. This gem of a hotel and resort is untouched by the large tourist areas of sorrento and beyond. The facilities boast access to the local beach club with a fantastic restaurant underneath the hotel (best meal we had). Lovely people, weather great and the local Grangano to die for. Please dont let the popularity of Amalfi/Atrani/Positano reach Seiano

We booked Palazzo Murrano after reading the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our choice! What a lovely boutique hotel, very spacious, clean and bright rooms with lovely sea views. Situated on the harbour it gives easy access to buses, ferries and some lovely restaurants. It also has Murrano Mare a beach area to relax and sun bathe with a restaurant and waiter service- wonderful! The very best part of our stay however were the staff at the hotel. Alfonso is a superb host, he was in contact with us via email soon after we booked our stay to help and advise on trips to book and places to visit . He welcomed us on arrival and showed us around and gave us all of the information we needed. He had already booked 2 full day trips with a driver ( Libero) to visit Herculaneum, Pompeii and a super wine tasting at Russo wines (day 1) and Ravello, the Emerald cave and lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. ( day 2 )Libero was a brilliant driver/guide who was very personable and provided great insight into local life. He ensured our 2 days were very relaxed and stress free. We would definitely recommend his services. Alfonso was always on hand to suggest and arrange trips. We felt very looked after at all times thanks to Alfonso. We must also mention Nella who provided a wonderful array of breakfast options every morning which we enjoyed on the roof terrace. Thank you so much Alfonso and all at Palazzo Murrano for giving us an unforgettable stay.

We were immediately impressed by the message from management at Palazzo Murrano upon booking our trip. It was welcoming and informative. And the quick response to our questions, offering suggestions to make the best of our week on the Amalfi coast made us realize we made the perfect choice for our vacation! When we arrived (using the transportation they arranged), we were greeted and taken immediately to our room, the Amalfi Suite. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The balcony was beautiful, with views of the coast, and Vesuvius in the distance. We then went to breakfast, and was greeted by Nella with an espresso, fresh pastries, eggs, and more in the breakfast area on the 4th floor. She was there every morning at 7:30am to greet us with a smile! The entire staff was so friendly, and Alphonso the manager was always available to help. He arranged transportation to the local train station (10mins to Sorrento, 25mins to Pompeii, 60mins from Naples), booked our boat trip to Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi, and so much more. This resort is close to numerous local restaurants, their own pier that has sun chairs, food, and drinks, and is a great central location to see the Amalfi Coast! In a week we were able to visit Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and Pompeii. If you are looking for an intimate setting with excellent service and accomodations, this is the perfect place!

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean, the breakfast offered was very good. Alphonso and Giuseppe were always willing to assist us with local directions and offering advice on local tours. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Vico Equense area. It sits right on the sea and the view is spectacular.

All I have to say is BRAVA!!! If you are looking for an absolute amazing staff and cleanliness spacious rooms with beautiful views and accommodations, then look no further, it’s this place! From the moment we arrived we felt like family and now I can definitely call them that! The breakfast is on the rooftop with awesome views in the cutest room where we started our day with their wonderful chef Nella! She was an absolute doll, and made the most delicious breakfast and always there with your cappuccino or expresso. She goes out of her way for you and is so sweet, friendly and did I mention she makes delicious food? Just making sure because I can’t say it enough! She is amazing and such a pleasure! Giuseppe and Francisco, their front desk representatives and their manager Alfonso are so sweet, friendly, delightful and absolute gems to be greeted with and so helpful. They accommodate and go out of their way for you with their own little special touches! They definitely point you in the right directions for when it comes to food, excursions or transportation! These guys are the best and can’t say enough about all of them! Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us! We absolutely loved you guys and had such a blast and funny moments because of all of you! Although this was our first time, it most definitely won’t be our last! We will be back! We loved our stay at the property. The rooms are clean and updated with a nice balcony with stunning views. The owners were very accommodating and served a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. The area is small and quiet, but would make a great base for various excursions away from the crowds.

A cute lil boutique hotel in a small seaside town. The staff was amazing and gave great recommendations and overall service. It was clean and quiet. The room felt a lil sparse and could use some redecorating to maximize the space and needed an upgrade, in terms of the furniture. The bathroom was big, the shower was awesome and loved the vibe lights, but needed more counter space. We’d have liked a bigger tv. It was very small and placed off to the side of the room. The balcony was beautiful and we loved our sea view! The breakfast buffet was decent, mostly pastries. Transportation in the area was difficult but the staff was helpful with the trains and bus routes. Overall, a great stay.

Struttura molto carina con la disponibilità del servizio spiaggia (una bellissima piattaforma di lusso che ti fa sembrare di stare in barca in mezzo al mare), colazione varia ed ottima (la caprese al limone era buonissima). Il parcheggio convenzionato è a pochi metri dell'Hotel in un campeggio. Di fronte all'hotel c'è anche il capolinea dell'autobus che vi porta al centro di Vico Equense ed alla stazione della circunvesuviana. Qualche difetto: - Le camere al primo piano (la mia), sono proprio sulla strada ed un pò rumorose, la mattina presto si crea un pò di casino con le persone che prendono le barche che hanno ormeggiato, però se sei chiuso con l'aria condizionata non senti niente. - Un Hotel di questo livello che ti dà il Telo Mare, lettini e ciabatte monouso in camera potrebbe anche permettersi di non chiedere 7€ per l'ombrellone, a volte ci si perde nei particolari. Nel complesso il mio giudizio è molto positivo e ci tornerei

Great place to stay. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. They make you feel at home and like your part of the family. The front desk staff very helpful and Alfonso is super great with giving tips on things to do in your stay. Francesco is great with giving advice where to eat or what to do in the night. The view is amazing and super clean hotel. Breakfast is great also the ladies cook really good, they give you a lot of options to pick for breakfast. They make a great coffee everything was excellent. 10/10. The staff make sure your safe getting to the hotel and going to the airport.

During all of my travel experiences, I have never had the pleasure of experiencing as attentive and caring staff members as I did during my stay here. They were all friendly, extremely helpful and made me feel at home. My every need was taken care of expeditiously and with a smile. The breakfasts were outstanding and Chef Nella took obvious pride in the plentiful breakfast that she provided. She even went out of her way to prepare a breakfast for me before the official breakfast started as I was departing early on a day trip. The beach club and its staff were equally spectacular. The location is ideal just steps from the hotel. The staff remembered me by name and were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was also ideal, in that it was close enough to many major attractions, but out of the hustle and bustle of bigger cities like Sorrento or Naples. It allowed me to live a truly Italian experience and one that I will never forget. I would highly recommend this location and property to anyone who asked me. Thank you once again to all of the staff who took me in like a wayward son!!
