Camelback Resort

Room smelled like old socks and not particularly clean except for the bathroom . Had to keep balcony door open part way to air out room each day . Apparently it was our fault we did not complain about smell when discussed at checkout.Waited an hour in the lobby because room was not ready at check-in time. Only got into a room when we asked why everyone else was checked in with no problem. Front desk asked if we had requested to have a room in relation to other family members because that was why we were most likely waiting. We did not know anyone else at the hotel. Hidden fees for parking and use of amenities total extra $75 per day added to bill at checkout. When we asked about the added on fees front desk personnel told us amenities were such as maid service yet never had anyone entire 5 days empty trash or replace towels in our room. Someone dropped pizza , fries and a container of dipping sauce in front of one of the elevators on our floor. It sat there for two days before I finally picked it up and threw it in the trash myself. Amenities also apparently included the tiny sandpaper towels provided at water park that we had to dig out of a bin ourselves. Hotel.com advertised no hidden fees when I googled the various booking sites so they appeared cheaper than others yet $49 per day for so called amenities and $25 per day for parking I would consider hidden fees. Camelback told me to deal with Hotel.com as to the $49 per night but did take off $100 for parking. Staff polite

The room was really good. Very spacious .We got the 1 bedroom suite. Which has a balcony and 2 Full Bathrooms! Great size for a family of 4. The Aquotopia has seen its day. Needs a big upkeep. And the sanitation needs a big boost. It was fun for the kids, ages 4 and 9. But take a shower immediately after use. Dog Friendly Resort. The buffet dinner and breakfast are worth it. Plus a bottle of wine only costs $15. Rob the waiter was extremely friendly. The mountain coaster is fun,

The place was very clean but when I went to take a shower it was missing the shower curtain. The place was neat and well kept and my daughter had fun.

This was my first time being here and it was a great experience my 3kids liked it as well. We will definitely be coming back. I would say with the amount of money you pay to stay at least breakfast should be free. But overall this is a great place.
