The location is absolutely lovely – just a short Uber ride to Copacabana, Ipanema, and the Santa Teresa area. The hotel also offers free bikes, which are perfect for a ride to Flamengo Beach. The rooms are small but cute, with big windows and kept very clean. Breakfast was excellent in both quality and variety, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The highlight is the rooftop – the views are simply amazing.

room a bit on the small size hotel very modern & good location in botafogo which is a lovely part of Rio all the staff were very professional & very helpful when needed any issues were resolved very quickly stayed @ yoo2 before & will return next year the pool is really small but the rooftop dining / drinking area far outweighs the small pool good wifi throughout the hotel

Could not be much better. Large room with an amazing view of the bay and pao de asucar. Quiet at night. Nice employees. Great rooftop bar and pool (additional view of corcovado). Excellent breakfast included. Quiet around but central to visit RDJ.Botafogo filled with goodcrestaurants

We were robbed at the crossroad of the hotel at 1 PM and the mobile phone was stolen while talking on the phone, The police came after 2 hours despite several calls. The hotel’s area is UNsafe not only at night, but also during the day. The hotel’s swimming pool is just for decoration, it is 1 m in depth and 2 m in width. The visuals published don't reflect the reality. The personnel were very polite and helpful, especially manager Natalia and Gabriel.

My friend and I recently stayed at Yoo2 for the holiday week (NYE). From beginning to end, everything was exceptional! The staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful with all of our questions. The views from the rooftop were amazing and the location is perfect! While our room was small, the beds were so comfortable! The included breakfast was an added plus and the spa massage booked was a well needed and convenient service. I would absolutely rebook if visiting again and recommend to others.

La verdad mi estadía fue muy inferior a mis expectativas, me dieron una habitación muy pequeña en la que quieren aprovechar los espacios pero la tornan incómoda, la TV y lámparas están muy mal ubicadas, en una de mis noches vi una cucaracha que se me salvó de aplastarla lamentablemente, pedí limpieza de habitación 2 veces y no la obtuve, mucho del personal sumamente amable otros no por último la vista desde el rooftop insuperable

Hotel moderno, limpo, recepção maravilhosa. Meu quarto era 1º andar. Solicitei a troca por um andar mais alto e atenderam à minha solicitação prontamente com um upgrade de quarto, que tinha uma vista lindíssima. Chuveiro, cama e travesseiros excelentes. Banheiro um pouco escuro, mas tudo bem limpo. Isolamento acústico no quarto. O único detalhe que precisa melhorar é o ar condicionado que é central e é desligado durante a madrugada. Esse foi um grande inconveniente. Café da manhã excelente e um rooftop super agradável com uma bela vista e música ao vivo. Em resumo, um hotel com preço justo em relação aos outros hotéis entre Copacabana e Leblon com ótimas instalações, acolhedor e próximo à zona sul. Voltaria.

Di sicuro non un 5 stelle, lo standard è quello di un 4 stelle. Mancano davvero alcuni fondamentali per un hotel a 5 stelle e per le regole dell'hotellerie. Moltissime cose da rivedere, dal servizio, alle camere, alla dotazione di asciugamani, alla totale assenza di caffè all'interno delle stanze e di acqua. Non ci sono neppure le ciabatte o gli accappatoi che ho dovuto chiedere più volte. Inaccettabile per un hotel a 5 stelle di recente entrato nel gruppo alberghiero Hilton. Colazione decisamente buona anche se mi sarei aspettato una maggiore varietà di assortimento del cibo, Le sedute macchiate e lo spazio angusto della sala della colazione non sono un must dell'hotel. Un plus è il roof con una vista fenomenale sul Pan di Zucchero e sulla baia di Botafogo. Dopo il mio reclamo a Expedia per la camera sporca e con i capelli nel letto, mi è stata fornita una camera meravigliosa con vasca Jacuzzi davvero molto molto buona e che finalmente avvicina lo YOO2 a un hotel a 5 stelle. Caro YOO2 potenzialmente sei un ottimo hotel ma ci sono una infinità di cose da rivedere. Inaccessibile poi il centro fitness...

The staff is super nice and helpful. Gabriel was a great receptionist. Good energy. The breakfast is nothing crazy. The rooftop view is stunning. Best part of the hotel. I could see the sugarloaf and redeemer from there. Even the view from my room was great. I think the floor in the room should be pressure cleaned and there’s dusts on fixtures and I found too many hair strands in the shower. Besides the cleanliness room service was on point. The restaurant next door Pura Brasa has great food.

Reservei um quarto q tinha vista para o Pão de Açúcar e para o Cristo, até bem mais caro do q os outros. Porém quando chegamos o quarto era no 2º andar, não tinha vista pro Cristo e meia vista para o Pão de Açúcar. Mas o hotel é muito bom, limpeza e quarto bons, café da manhã ótimo. Só não faria upgrade de quarto novamente.

Considering Rio standards, this is a good hotel. The rooms are fairly modern, and the rest of the facilities are exactly what you would expect at this level. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Rio. The neighborhood was also very pleasant – much less touristy than Copacabana, which made the stay feel more authentic and relaxed.

brilliant hotel in a lovely part of Rio pros - very modern hotel , great veiw from pool area of botafogo bay , sugar loaf & christ the redeemer , good breakfast selection, very friendly helpful staff , close to botafogo metro station, shopping mall & supermarkets nearby , plenty of restaurents close too good sized bed & nice clean shower cons - rooms on small side , cable tv very poor for english selection channels , ridiculously over priced @ new year

Yoo2 is great for an in and out trip but some of the rooms like 1010 have great views but some like 1006 have very poor layout. Anyway, makes you feel like it depends on the room can determine how you enjoy your stay. I found it odd there isn’t tea and coffee in the room. You have to request for a kettle. It’s a little odd but the breakfast and amenities are decent

Larissa was a great help at the property! Her customer service skills and kindness are unmatched. The entire staff was extremely helpful. The cleaning team did a phenomenal job. My room was cleaned daily regardless of my schedule and they even organized a few things. Overall experience, 10/10. Thank you so much to the whole team!

Great location if you do not want to be in the hustle of Copacabana Beach area, we were able to walk to Sugar Loaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer, and Copacabana Beach. (we are walkers but Uber and Taxi’s here are very inexpensive.) The hotel is very good and reasonably priced for Rio. The front desk staff were amazing and spoke English. A shout out to Fernanda she was very helpful with all of our questions. We stayed at this hotel and booked a basic King room, which was nice but not the view of the beach and the Marina. After three nights the hotel offered us an upgrade to a much larger room with the view. Amazing! My suggestion would be book a the view room on the upper floors. The rooms are nice, clean, good wifi, the shower has hot with great water pressure. The rooftop pool and bar are nice for relaxing and a drink. The breakfast is really good, with lots of selection and good tasting coffee! The restaurant manager Denise is very friendly and takes pride in her job. Overall we had a great stay and all the staff are very friendly and helpful PS They have courtesy bikes which was great as the biking bath is across the street from the hotel. Shopping mall and lots of restaurants nearby

Yoo2 Rio felt like our home for 12 days in Rio and simply enjoyed everything! I can say that our hotel room offers one of the best views in Rio! And what do I have to say about its hospitality service? The manager, Nathalia, greeted us warmly and her team promptly helped us with any request that we needed! Big thanks Nathalia, Larissa and Vanessa and her team at the restaurant. Overall, we loved our stay and all the amenities especially rooftop area!! Thank you Yoo2 Rio for a wonderful stay!

The room service is not good. They take a very long time to bring the food. I asked 2x for spicy sauce. The first time, it never arrived; the second time, they didnt sent it again and the boy had to go get it. when he came back, it was just Tabasco. Usually good restaurants have their own sauces or at least fresh chillies.

We were robbed at the crossroad of the hotel at 1 PM and the mobile phone was stolen while talking on the phone, The police came after 2 hours despite several calls. The hotel’s area is UNsafe not only at night, but also during the day. The hotel’s swimming pool is just for decoration, it is 1 m in depth and 2 m in width. The visuals published don't reflect the reality. The personnel were very polite and helpful, especially manager Natalia and Gabriel.

Yoo2 was an awesome hotel experience. The rooftop, with its pool and bar, has possibly one of the best views of Rio. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location could not be more ideal. It is right on the beach and Botafogo is a great neighborhood with good restaurants and a metrô stop that is in pretty much equidistant to Centro and Ipanema - so anywhere you want to go is convenient. Botafogo is also a lot more chill than the likes of Copacabana and Ipanema.

we spend a nice weekend in Rio The Hotel is not a 5 star but very nice what is 5 star is the view on the rooftop the breakf ast and the nice feeling in the elevator passing via graffitys the draft beer unfortunatelly not dinkable but the cocktails are fantastic

I had a great stay. It was just unfortunate that the spa facilities were not open. It would have been helpful if the hotel had mentioned this at the point of booking as for me the spa was a plus point in making the decision to stay there Awesome staff and good breakfast
