Room was good, clean and comfortable, but was disappointed with the pool ang gym, Pool had underwater light fitting removed and lying on the poolside. Gym had 3 out of 4 exercise machines broken, and obviously had not bee working for sometime

Staff all friendly and helpful, bed is comfortable. Nice sized room Hotel is convenient and tucked away in safe area. Gym and pool are okay, need some upkeep. Good value for your money. Breakfast options can be improved.

I should have been told when reservations were made that the hotel was under construction. There was only one entrance and exit on the side which made it difficult for accessibility. Much of the parking lot was closed making parking difficult. The pool was closed which we should have known ahead of time as needed for physical therapy. Staff that serviced rooms could not understand request. When we asked for clean towels they must have thought we did not want the room cleaned as did not for the three days. I had to go to them with my garbage and ask for new bags using hand signal. The people at the front desk did not seem to care. At least the breakfast buffet was clean and the food was good. I feel like I was cheated and did not get what I paid for.

I liked the selection at the breakfast buffet. I didn't like the room because the floor was sticky and the carpet wasn't much better. There was stains on the walls, spiderwebs on the ceiling. The sheets on the bed were scratchy and there wasn't any water pressure coming out of the shower.

We had to move rooms because someone left two barking dogs alone for hours. The whole third floor and elevator always smelled like weed and there was a roach in the dining room and the shower. The shower curtain had mold on it. We left early.

The staff was extremely nice!!! They had the best “on demand” coffee machine in the lobby. The room itself was not bad at all, simple but comfortable. The room was not very clean. There was mold growing up the walls in the bathroom. There was hair left around in the bathroom, dusty and didn’t appear to have been vacuumed/swept well. The room smelt so musty, it was not pleasant.

The absolute worst !!!! Room was obviously not cleaned. - Sheets were dirty, fresh blood on the top sheet. - Smelled like vomit, I went to Target and got fabreeze and air freshener. Gave it to front desk at check out. - No soap, shampoo, or conditioner. - Food left in fridge, take out Chinese from last guest. - Shower door off tracks and would not go back on. - Plastic cups were wet and put back in plastic wraper, not sealed. - 2 dirty towels, refolded poorly. - Hair and band-aid in the bed. Clerk stated she would contact manager for a refund....I would be very shocked, based on experience.

This is not a hotel I would likely stay in again. The Price was ok but it definitely needs updates to rooms and the toilets. In order to flush our toilet we had to take off the tank lid so the arm of the handle ti let the water out. The room smell very stale and unpleasant. The morning staff was away from the desk taking many quick breaks and smoking at the front entrance. It definitely needs work before I would stay again by choice.

Great place to stay in Walker! Overall, it was an average hotel but we appreciated the large rooms, great TV options (Roku TV in our room and many cable channels), the AC was GREAT so we didn't get hot like we usually do, the shower water was HOT and not lukewarm. Hotel was a good price as well. We have family in Walker and will definitely stay here again!

The gentleman checking us in was so friendly and helpful especially when we needed to change rooms. The room we stayed in was pretty comfortable but the problem was the toilet we had to take off the tank lid in order to flush the toilet each time. The rooms are pretty outdated and need a makeover. The morning desk staff and the staff taking care of breakfast were moving around a good deal mostly to take care of their breakfast and take smoke breaks right at the entrance of the hotel. My husband and I travel a good amount and I trusted the reviews I read. This is the first time I would disagree with the majority of them.

My wife and I spent four nights at this motel and had a very pleasant stay. One of the highlights was the included breakfast, one of the best we had at a motel. The food was good and the options were many. There was even coffee and juice available around the clock. The only negatives we had were the pronounced hallway sounds because of the gap at the bottom of the door, the bathroom was not vented and could have benefited with sound proofing. Overall, we rate it a 4.8 out of 5.

Everything was great including the staff. The reason for 4 stars is the bed was hard as rock. I kean no give at all. I kept getting up through the night because my back was hurting so bad. I won't stau here again only because of that. Otherwise the place was great, clean and very easy checkin.

Staff on the evening were super friendly and helpful, we were a little unprepared. Next day when leaving the property after signing out we were hit by another car and the staff continued to be supportive and offered any help they could. Room was nice and comfy. Would definitely recommend if you need to stay over for the night

My fiancé and I had a long term stay. Everything was good besides housekeeping not wanting to clean our room and when we finally checked out they said we would have to pay a deposit because our room was so “dirty” mind you housekeeping never cleaned. If I have to clean my own room I expect a discount

Beautiful hotel… the smell as you walk in to check in tells you everything, clean and comfortable. The guy at the front deck was AMAZING prior to us arriving(afternoon shift). If I wasn’t just passing through it would definitely be a go to hotel for sure.

usually stay here we have tournaments this day wasn’t the best. The breakfast in the morning was disgusting orange juice was broken and it was the apple juice. The lady that checked us in was fantastic but the gentleman that works overnight is an absolute jerk.

The staff here is so kind and caring. The nighttime staff that checked me in was very understanding of my situation. The internet went out for a bit and I needed to use it to order food online for my kids and the front desk staff came up to my room 3 times and left me her phone to use her hotspot. I HAVE never had any staff be that kind at any other hotel.

This was our third time to stay here. The hotel is quite nice for the price. The staff is nice and professional. It's a very clean hotel. It is located in a quiet area. The bed and furniture in the room is really comfortable. I will stay here again.

Liked the size of the room, liked the extra couch, and convenient location to I 12 and Baton Rouge and the price. We disliked age of bathroom, cleanliness of bathroom, trash not emptied daily, Limited breakfast. Lots of stuff out of stock.
