Room was comfortable but mechanicals (plumbing and A/C) left a lot to be desired. Also the office area is in poor repair and doesn’t leave you with a great impression when you pull in. Overall rating is 2.

The property is not very well kept. The entranceway is messy and unkept. The coridor leading up to the rooms is dark. Outside there was a dumpster very close to the rooms and there were people using drugs. The room smelled so heavily of perfume or deodorizer it made it impossible to breathe or open the window as the dumpster was near by. There was a room key drop off box at the entrance that was broken and one could not leave the key for the room in and know it was in a safe place..

The property could use a good sweeping outside room doors. There was a dead rat on the paved cut through to go to stores. Extra toiletries would of been nice , kleenex, toilet paper and bags for garbage containers. Maybe a map for the area , or a listing of places for take out. When we got there to register they automatically assumed to pay the other half on my credit card without asking , as my Sister was going to pay it. Beds comfortable and clean , night time was quiet and people were very friendly.

The floor in the bathroom and bedroom needed a good vacuum. There was hair in the bathroom on the floor and the heat register. The bedroom also needed cleaning with cob webs in the upper corners of the room, smudges on the wall and the floor needed a good vacuum as well. Lots of dead bugs and dirt on the floor.

Avoid at all cost! There were bed bugs and we unfortunately brought one home and now we are spending hundreds of dollars trying to get rid of them. We stayed on the side facing away from Tim’s and Food Basic. We’ve reached out to the management asking for a refund but no response. It’s filthy, there is no upkeep, and you will waste your money staying here.

Some rooms had been renovated, we unfortunately had one that had not and had been used to house homeless people. It was in terrible shape. Bedding was clean but old, and the air conditioner was new. Holes in the wall, baseboards in terrible shape, floor was dirty, you could not go barefoot. White towels were grey. Overall, not a good experience.

The bed was terrible. There was a strong insectide odor in the room which seemed to be coming from the bed. Not sure but made me wonder. Could see cracks around the door letting light in. The internet was terribly SLOW and didn't improve till about 8 am. Don't think I'd stay there again.

The only fault was that there is nowhere to hang clothes. They spent the night laying over chairs or hanging in the bathroom from the towel/facecloth rack. No mat inside the door and we had 4" of snow. Nicely decorated, comfortable side chair and stool, TV/Cable worked well and Wi-fi was very reliable.

It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and hotel was very close to the casino that had a great restaurant. Hotel is below average, dated and in disrepair. When I requested they bring another pillow when they made up the room I was surprised to hear that “our policy is not to clean the room, if you want your room cleaned 24 hour notice is required. What?!! At least they brought the extra pillow. If you stay here be prepared to wear shoes at all times, ignore weird sounds from ac unit, and to bring soap, shampoo, hair dryer, iron and bedside lamp that works. We will avoid staying here in the future.

Rented their most expensive room and wanted to check in at 3, room wasn't ready until 4. Had a business meeting at 5. Fridge didn't work. Shower was cool in the morning. No coffee pot on the coffee maker. Sink tap in the bathroom didn't work properly. Not very impressed.

we arrived one hour early, were told room was ready but it would cost us extra to check in ahead of time. The manager was not even there, we had to use a phone to talk to someone as the only person there did not speak english. when we finally checked in there was still no desk clerk and when we got to the room there were no closets or any where to hang clothes up. Rest of stay was uneventfull but did not get a receipt for room. was told it would be charged to credit card. there was no one in office on check out, just a drop box for key. was not worth the price paid. is a one to two star establishment at best.

We have stayed at the Travellers Inn many times over the years. It’s very convenient for us to visit family. The rooms have all been upgraded. we cannot say enough about the staff helping us due to a late arrival in Toronto and holding our room. Good coffee is available to be made in the room in the morning. service is just a phone call away! it’s a pleasure to know we have a home away from home when visiting relatives who live near Hanover … THANK YOU very much

It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and hotel was very close to the casino that had a great restaurant. Hotel is below average, dated and in disrepair. My initial check in when as expected. I was given a key card and told my room number was 122. Upon entering the assigned room there was another guests belongings in the room. Thankfully the guest was not there. I went back to the front desk and the guest representative was quite apologetic but then tried to give me another room key for Room 122. I pointed this out and his response was that he had given me a room key for Room 120. I had texted my sister after receiving the first room number as she was meeting me. It took some persistance to get the Rep to believe me. He then gave me the Room Card for Room 124. The room was fine. But unfortunately didn’t sleep well as I was then feeling anxious as a woman traveling alone that someone might be given a room key to my room and someone would try and enter. Won’t be recommending this hotel or staying here again.

Very disappointed in this motel. Seems a lot of the rooms are permanently rented out and very junky looking outside, alot of what looked to be shady characters, smell of pot, drinking, etc. Lobby to motel is vet poor and upside down. There were 2 doors to my room. The door to inside hallway was thin, hallway had strong odor. The door to outside had no bolt to securely lock door and the door didn't seal properly. You could see straight thru and at times the snow would just blow through. Snow removal in the parking lot was questionable to say the least. Would recommend Best Western in Walkerton which is only 6 miles west of Hanover.

The motel itself is very good. Bed is comfortable and clean. Modern finishes, fridge and microwave. Excellent window coverings, excellent A/C. Casino, coffee shop and grocery store within 5 minutes walk. Exterior is well lit. The other guests didn’t bother us, but looked untrustworthy. I would stay again, but on even-numbered rooms side of building.
