The Foresters Guest House

On the west coast of Scotland, not far from Glasgow, Inverkip is a small but highly welcoming city in front of the see. Forrester family honours the legendary hospitality of Scotland and will do their best to make your stay a trip to remember. The room is small but well-furnished and beds are comfortable. The breakfast served in the room is generous. A welcome booklet presents the good deals not to be missed around Inverkip. If you come by car, there is multiple option to park around the house. If you’re a golfer, you will have the choice of 10 different courses 10 miles around. ------------- Sur la côte ouest de l’Écosse, non loin de Glasgow, Inverkip est une petite ville très accueillante face à la mer. La famille Forrester honore l’hospitalité légendaire de l’Écosse et fera de son mieux pour faire de votre séjour un voyage inoubliable. La chambre est petite mais bien meublée et les lits sont confortables. Le petit déjeuner servi en chambre est copieux. Un livret d’accueil présente les bons plans à ne pas manquer autour d’Inverkip. Si vous venez en voiture, il y a plusieurs options pour se garer autour de la maison. Si vous êtes un golfeur, vous aurez le choix entre 10 parcours différents à 10 miles à la ronde.

Stopped off mid journey for central location.

Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. Quiet area within walking distance of the train station 10 mins max and a lovely marina across a main road bridge which you could walk round and come to the river Clyde I think it was as it opened up to the sea beautiful views about 20 mins walk from the BNB. Only shop was a Sainsburies local. There's a hotel with a restaurant minutes walk away although I never eat there. Buses every 15 to Largs and Greenock in the other direction cheap enough and you can buy an all day bus ticket for £6 and go anywhere on the bus line as many times as you want.
