Fantastisk utsikt över båtarna, utomordentligt mottagande av värdinnan som bjuder på dryck och tilltugg och ger tips om vad man kan göra på Murano. Hon gjorde allt för att hitta öppen restaurang när så gott som allt var stängt och vi fick även tillgång till köket ifall det hade slutat med att vi varit tvungna att laga eget, Missa inte detta boende, om du är beredd att ta färjan (15-30 min) till och från Venedig.

Perfect spot overlooking the lagoon, with views of Venice and Burano from the balcony. Staff really helpful with the desk manned the majority of the time even though its a small property. Murano is busy by day quiet by night with most things closed by 19:00. There is a 24 hour ferry to the main Venice island from the Navagero stop which is 1 minute walk from the property.

Abbiamo trascorso un weekend in questa struttura con una bimba di 2 anni. Ci sono state date tutte le indicazioni fin dal nostro arrivo in aeroporto, nonostante fosse sera. Casa Sulla Laguna is a wonderful property, but before booking, there’s one thing every guest should understand: Murano is a separate island. It requires its own ferry ride from Venice — about 15 minutes. The hotel sits directly on the water, offering a level of privacy and tranquility that’s simply impossible to find on the main island of Venice. The location also happens to be right next to one of Murano’s most famous glass factories — I didn’t fully realize how close until I joined a glass-blowing tour that departed from Venice and ferried us out to that very factory. I ended up slipping away from the group mid-tour to pop back to my room for a snack and a bathroom break. That’s how close it is. Host Pino was genuinely hospitable and took the time to walk me through all the logistics of staying on Murano — ferry schedules, getting around, the works. That kind of welcome was really helpful. Murano itself is a pleasure. Calmer, quieter, and far easier to navigate than Venice, it has plenty of shops and good restaurants. Getting to Venice proper via the ACTV local ferry system was never a hassle — I never waited more than 5–10 minutes, regardless of the day or time. The one caveat: after about 10:00 pm they don’t run as often. Overall, a great stay.

Farthest away from all the daily Murano fuss. Sadly we were there early March, too chilly to sit in the garden and enjoy the sunrise. Best views of the bay tide swirls from the rooms. Staff so nice and friendly and helpful.
