This has to be up there with one of the best stay-cations I’ve ever been on!! Motel molly was everything I hoped it would be and more! We stayed in the spa suite and it absolutely exceeded every expectation I had and more! From the stunning luxe furniture (the huge beautiful bed!) smeg appliances and so many gorgeous amenities to the beautiful colour palette used in all the rooms, not one detail was left unnoticed. And to wake up in the morning so close to the beach was the cherry on the top! All access to rooms is by a private security code lock so no room key to look after which was a huge plus. We spent time relaxing by the pool and spa too everything was just superb. Well worth the 3 hour drive from Sydney just to stay at this place. Thankyou for the best service and the most wonderful stay Motel Molly! We are dying to come back already!

My best friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend. We were in room 10 (pastel blue themed) which had a huge king bed, separate living room and bathroom (shower only) plus kitchenette. Our living room looked over the pool which could get noisy with windows open, but there was something nice about the buzz of it. Check-in was easy (and friendly!), there were boards you could borrow and bikes as well. A stone's throw from the beach and if you took a shortcut through the complex, even shorter to some great coffee! The room was well-appointed (cute smeg kettle and fridge to match the colour-scheme). Thanks for a great stay! Would 100% stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights for a mini getaway. The staff were amazing, from notifying me when my room was ready to check out. The rooms were well-appointed and clean. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was adequate. It was very quiet. They also have 2 EV chargers that are free for guests, vs the motel next door that charges for use.

Very unique retro motel with lots of creative thought going into the obviously fairly recent renovation. Excellent facilities within a short walk of one of the best beaches in Australia. Short walk to Mollymook golf club which has excellent food and stunning over the ocean views. Wow. What a place!

Motel Molly is fantastic - rooms are well decorated and have everything you need, fantastic location just meters from the beach and a beautiful pool to swim in when you want a change in swimming location. Service is also wonderful, with staff on hand for anything you need.

Everything was excellent except for housekeeping which was terrible. Ist morning towels only changed, 2nd morning no service despite sign going on the door at 11.30am ( housekeeping until 2pm ). Friendly receptionists cleaned the room when we complained.

I liked the 60s vibe. Very comfortable little place with a great view of the ocean. Close to a couple of places to eat. Very clean. Could not find any blankets. Chairs on balcony bit hard and uncomfortable. But apart from that quite good. Would go bsck again.

Girls Weekend in Mollymook We had an awesome time in Mollymook! The place was adorable and nicely decorated. The beds were really comfy, and I slept like a dream. Plus, the body lotion and shower gel smelled fantastic! It would’ve been nice to have some board games for entertainment, though. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!

Mollymook is a lovely town but unfortunately this property is not the place to do it from if you can help it - very overpriced for what is a no-frills experience on a noisy road. Uncomfortable bed, the lounge chairs were unsittable (not a word but you get the gist) and there is no table - double glazed windows would help. For more than $500 a night it felt disappointing and which is what I paid for an up market terrace stay in inner city Sydney a couple of weeks back so was expecting something a bit nicer. Photos are not really indicative. Still … lovely Mollymook and surrounds are worth the trip and close by so that you don’t have to hang out in the room. Lovely beach side and Rick Stein’s Bannister’s were highlights.

A lovely position near the beach and friendly, helpful staff. Sadly, that is where it ends. We stayed in an ‘Oceanside’ room. The room, freshly renovated was inadequate as there are NO shelves or draws or proper table to sit at for a drink or a snack but most inadequate of all was the lack of any place to put and use a laptop or to do any work. Having somewhere to work, while we are away from home and conduct, some business is extremely important to us. The fancy pink refrigerator is all very nice but even then no provision for ice trays and therefore no ice for a drink without going to the office to request some. Last, but by no means least Motel Molly is extremely overpriced. There are at least 6 other places to stay in the same excellent position at a far less nightly rate with more comfortable rooms. We used to stay regularly at this motel before renovation and name change, but never again.

It was a matter of what wasn’t there at what appeared to be a recently renovated and charming property. We had the spa suite which took up a large part of the space, but was just in Essence a bath tub. No spa and could only enter by climbing over end of tub. Had to live out of suitcase as only steel rack to hang a few things. No shelves/drawers to put any clothes. Chairs to sit on had a high piece of timber which came round at shoulder height but no other support for back Very uncomfortable. No shelves or cupboard in bathroom for cosmetics etc. Had to stay in bag on floor Very interesting door lock. A round black disc in which you had to enter your code. Did not even need a card. Great idea Only trouble was numbers really small I mean about font size six and in the afternoon when sun on door had no chance of reading. Six attempts to get into room just guessing where numbers were. A shame - as all style and little substance with just a few changes could be a really great experience.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and the included snacks and drinks were exceptional. The staff could not have been more accommodating and lovely. 2 minute walk to the beach. We would stay here again.

Decor and mini bar aesthetic and contents were excellent, bed so comfortable, beautiful linen and towels , carpet and fixtures . Would like less bathroom noise and laundry dryer noise at night but otherwise it is just a lovely beachside place to visit and stay.

Everything was excellent except for housekeeping which was terrible. Ist morning towels only changed, 2nd morning no service despite sign going on the door at 11.30am ( housekeeping until 2pm ). Friendly receptionists cleaned the room when we complained.

Well located, quiet appartment with a good aspect, nice breeze, morning sunshine and easy access. The addition of a shelf in both the bathroom and kitchen would add to storage ease. The only downside was that when we arrived we had to call an outside number and wait for their arrival and though friendly, she said she wasn’t expecting us and struggled to find our booking which was a bit unnerving. The exit receptionist was quite unfriendly which was a pity as we had a lovely stay.

Motel Molly is fantastic - rooms are well decorated and have everything you need, fantastic location just meters from the beach and a beautiful pool to swim in when you want a change in swimming location. Service is also wonderful, with staff on hand for anything you need.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and the included snacks and drinks were exceptional. The staff could not have been more accommodating and lovely. 2 minute walk to the beach. We would stay here again.

My best friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend. We were in room 10 (pastel blue themed) which had a huge king bed, separate living room and bathroom (shower only) plus kitchenette. Our living room looked over the pool which could get noisy with windows open, but there was something nice about the buzz of it. Check-in was easy (and friendly!), there were boards you could borrow and bikes as well. A stone's throw from the beach and if you took a shortcut through the complex, even shorter to some great coffee! The room was well-appointed (cute smeg kettle and fridge to match the colour-scheme). Thanks for a great stay! Would 100% stay here again.

Mollymook is a lovely town but unfortunately this property is not the place to do it from if you can help it - very overpriced for what is a no-frills experience on a noisy road. Uncomfortable bed, the lounge chairs were unsittable (not a word but you get the gist) and there is no table - double glazed windows would help. For more than $500 a night it felt disappointing and which is what I paid for an up market terrace stay in inner city Sydney a couple of weeks back so was expecting something a bit nicer. Very unique retro motel with lots of creative thought going into the obviously fairly recent renovation. Excellent facilities within a short walk of one of the best beaches in Australia. Short walk to Mollymook golf club which has excellent food and stunning over the ocean views. Wow. What a place!

I liked the 60s vibe. Very comfortable little place with a great view of the ocean. Close to a couple of places to eat. Very clean. Could not find any blankets. Chairs on balcony bit hard and uncomfortable. But apart from that quite good. Would go bsck again.

Decor and mini bar aesthetic and contents were excellent, bed so comfortable, beautiful linen and towels , carpet and fixtures . Would like less bathroom noise and laundry dryer noise at night but otherwise it is just a lovely beachside place to visit and stay.

Outstanding accommodation. Beyond our expectations! So many inclusions we weren't expecting and our 3 bedroom apartment instantly felt like home. Easy parking, cosy courtyard, right near the beach, free bike hire, amazing staff and Sunday yoga with Tina was fabulous! We want to come back every weekend.

The room was amazing, large and very welcoming. Checking in was easy and staff were very helpful. The facilities were great and the owners have thought of everything. If you get a chance would recommend staying here. Wish we could have stayed longer.
