You have to taper your expectations for a luxury stay. This is a novelty hostel to stay in. As it's a bunker, it really plays to the theme. It's deep underground and dark by design. It does wind up a bit chilly inside, but the sleeping bag i was provided was surprisingly warm. Breakfast was a simple affair, a basic buffet. You don't get any phone signal inside, but the wifi actually works for once. Showers attempt to be warm, but you have to keep it running to get some warmth, possibly not ideal if you're feeling under the weather. It's worth noting it's also a museum, so depending on where your room is, you may be hearing the music and videos for a fair amount of time during the day. I found that when the museum is closed on monday or any time after 7pm, you have to ring the doorbell for a member of staff to let you in. It can take them a while if you're coming back late at night, but not a big issue and at least it's secure. It's an experience, worth trying out, just be mentally prepared for it.

Stayed 2 nights

I was a little hesitant about staying in a bunker, BUT it was completely fine for two nights. It’s definitely not luxurious, but it is clean, an experience, and my private room was comfortable. While it feels like a basement, the room and bathroom was clean, and the sleeping bag and bed were actually very comfortable. It was perfect for a summer time stay as it’s a nice 65 degrees Fahrenheit all year round. If you are interested in history whatsoever, staying one or two nights is definitely worth it. Plus you get to tour the bunker for free. There’s even a free breakfast that was pretty decent! Aside from the experience, the staff was amazing. They are dedicated to hiring folks of different backgrounds and teaching people about peace, totalitarianism, and history. And on top of that, they are extremely friendly! While not a five star hotel, the staff are deserving of working in one. It was also super close to the city center and train station. I couldn’t have asked for a better location.

What a unique experience in Brno! The bunker room was clean, comfortable and rather spacious. We found the temperature pleasantly cool, especially enjoyable during summer. Although the toilet and shower were shared with other rooms, they were clean too. Wifi worked fine. Both the entrance fee for visiting the museum and a breakfast were included. Mind you that you need to be at the breakfast area early in order to enjoy the full spread. What makes this place so much more than the sum of all those mentioned? The friendly and helpful staff! Don't miss this if you're in Brno. I won't hesitate to stay there again if I revisit Brno.
