Greenfield Lodge Hotel Bar & Bistro

Laundry was clean. Bar was pretty average. The staff were not working with much to be honest.

No other residents. Bar/Restaurant closed and no staff there after I checked in until next morning. Not close to Headford. Had to exit through side door to get to my car and drive about ten miles to get dinner.

Comfy bed & nice view. We can see they have updated the rooms a little but the bathrooms need upgrading. Rooms & restaurant cold. Would definitely pay more if upgraded & warm

Out in the middle of nowhere, this hotel is fabulously situated by the lake. I just wish I had had more time to explore. Bar staff friendly, locals friendly, and busier than you might expect. Food was good, although I was too late out to try the breakfast. Rooms are a bit basic, and I was kept awake by the wind whistling through the double glazing, but that's probably just the one room. Recommended, I'd certainly book again.
