We forgot some items in our room after checkout. I contacted the hotel and they said they found them. We made the arrangements that they were going to mail my belongings. They asked for me to pay for the shipping, which I agreed because it was my fault that I left my items behind, but after sending the money they said through PIX, they stopped communicating with me. I have not been able to get my belongings back. They scammed me and they don’t even care. I felt the need to put it out there so that if this happens to you, you know more likely what the outcome will be.

Air conditioning is good! Room is outdated and small (hence the “budget” in its name) but it served its purpose. Very close proximity to the beach which we like! Thank you!

The Ibis budget RJ Copacabana hotel was a good fit for a short stay. Just two blocks from the beach and many dining options nearby. I loved the extra security features that make your stay feel safe. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The area was very safe and full of nearby shops, restaurants and bars. The subway metro was four blocks away to explore nearby city attractions. Overall, a very nice option for a short stay.
