Clean spacious room but not a 5-star room as coffee/creamer was sub standard quality. Internet was slow for the smart tv. The rooftop bar was good and nice drinks. Amenities around the area was good with 24 hours places nearby to eat and drink Would return again if nothing else is around to book with similar price

Pool and Onsen was nice, we also had a nice bathtub in our room. Great location! The water dispenser on each floor was very convenient to fill up our drink bottle and kettle. We could hear the street noise from the 17th floor and our view was of the building opposite, the fridge was not cold at all.

the humidity INSIDE the hotel was off the charts, all of my clothing the bedding the towels (which they would not provide more than 2 per room) we CONSTANTLY damp throughout my stay. And there was a mold/mildew smell in the halls and the room. I live on the road as a digital nomad and basically live in hotels and Airbnb's and I amost never write reviews but this was so awful that I feel compelled. A tiny window that can be propped open to deafening traffic noise in a desperate attempt "air it out" did not help matters. Gross. I got sick from the mod for an entire week.

Hotel experience overall was OK, but I got a very smelly room the first night. Smell was in fact unbearable. I only was changed to another room the next day and had to wait another 2 hours upon checking in the morning. This was very slow and cost me time and nerves. I did not receive an official apology from the hotel either. The room after was OK. Suggest checking the room upon arrival as some of them seem to have mould or aircon problem

My room drainage at the shower and sink seems have a problem, I raised concern about it but it wasn’t fixed during my stay, as their engineer department says it’s “normal” so i let it be since im tired from my flight. Front desk staff czannel doesn’t have sense of urgency, keep me waiting for 20 minutes just to reactive my keycard. I wonder why they don’t have access to override such thing. Simple troubleshooting might help. Customer service is not genuine, non-chalant all the time. Thanks to elle for assisting me, specifically for my dry clean laundry that was on time.

This was the first time staying at this hotel, I enjoyed the more modern atmosphere but the air conditioning in the room would turn off at the same time every night allowing the room temperature to rise to an uncomfortable temperature, trying to adjust the air conditioner wasn’t possible due to being locked with a password, the mini bar fridge didn’t keep drinks cold on it’s lowest setting, the front desk staff were very slow but always helpful when needed. For the price of the accommodation you would expect a slightly more attentive service and classier room

Good: 1. Staff was courteous. 2. Room was clean. Not good: 1. The AC in the room was really loud. 2. The “king” bed was just two beds pushed together. I could feel the seam in the middle. 3. WiFi was unusable due to my room being at the end of the hall. 4. The Churros and pizza I ordered were really doughy and barely edible. 5. I tried the breakfast buffet the first morning and got there kind of late (about 15 minutes before last order, 30 minutes before closing). As I was trying to find a seat I noticed every table was dirty. All the staff were just standing around. Finally one of the staff runs up to me and asks “Where do you want to sit? I will clean it for you.”

This property is between 3-4 star Needs a facelift and the staff is not very helpful Staff couldn’t even provided a coffee at breakfast on Christmas morning Also on check in we needed to leave a deposit in cash or they would take a month to return the deposit on card, nowhere else did this occur! Restaurant was average, with no AC working and many food items not in stock. However, Check out was awful and unacceptable. Took 30 minutes to check-out, which included waiting in a long slow-moving line. Staff appeared to be very slow, showed little sense of urgency, and even asked everyone to wait in the lobby for 5-10 mins after checking out while your room was checked by staff. I have not encountered this request anywhere at any other hotel in any other country. I probably wouldn’t stay here again due to the check out experience. It should’ve taken no more than 1-2 mins to check out. I advise if staying here to check out with plenty of time, especially if you have a flight to catch.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars, however I strongly disagree with the policy requiring staff to personally cover the cost when an invoice isn’t provided. And the fact that you tape this sign at each front desk monitor for guests to see is a terrible reflection on management and not the employees: "ASK FOR INVOICE If we don't hand you an invoice, your order/service is free. Our staff will be accountable for covering the cost." Holding employees financially responsible for missing invoices is unfair and unacceptable. Policies should support staff—not threaten their wages. This creates fear, not accountability.

This is a nice hotel in an excellent location. Easy access to lots of shopping, dining and several other options. The big let down though was service. You can’t even dial the front desk from the room. It does not even connect let alone people answering. I wanted a bathrobe and there was no way to get is besides going down to the front desk as asking for it. However I was at the antidote and one of the staff there took it upon himself to ensure that I got what I needed. Even at check in there were multiple lines however some of them were manned by trainees and it took over 30mins for me to get checked in!! She kept saying the system as slow and not loading etc. mind you it’s not even that there were long lines. There are bar codes for you to order room service but no one tells you that you can call antidote directly and get access to the expanded menu of all that they have for in room dining.

VERY slow check in process. 6 front desk staff with 4 monitors. Took 45 minutes to check in and there was no line. Just took my passport then told me to have a seat. No explanation given, very unfriendly, no eye contact. I felt I was annoying them by checking in. Once in the room, nice stay. Pool is unique but limited sun. Good central location to nightlife and felt fairly safe.

The hotel requires the security deposit but the card reader at the front desk is not working. The staff asked us to go to an ATM but did not offer any other help. They let us stand at the front desk for about an hour. During this time, there was one staff constantly rolling her eyes which is extremely unpleasant.

Great staff, good rooms, just a couple of things that are a dealbreaker for me: - Music on the top floor is way too loud and aimed at 15 year old kids, not adults with money and willingness to spend it. We dropped eating there completely (would have eaten 3 big dinners with clients) - learn from City garden grand! - the management has implemented a policy of deducting pay from the employees. So, if they forget to give a receipt, I will get the food (or whatever) for free - and the amount will be deducted from the poor employee! To the GM or whoever came up with this idea: this is the perfect strategy for getting rid of great employees AND GUESTS. you see, I can afford staying in a hotel like this, but I refuse to stay in a place that STEALS from its employees! For your information, we stayed at this hotel, then went to Mindanao and came back before going to Baguio and coming back... and chose to stay at the City Garden Grand Hotel each time, which is located straight across the street. Equally good hotel, greater breakfast, better rooftop restaurant and most important of all: NO POLICY FOR STEALING MONEY FROM POOR EMPLOYEES. To the owner: you need to fire whoever came up with this horrendous idea. I will NEVER stay here until this is changed. I spend 120 to 150 days in hotels globally and this hotel has the most awful policy of all. I will ensure all people I know will get to know this. I will also post on my LinkedIn. So, congratulations.

Embarrassed me. I had 2 local friends that wanted to hang out for a few hours after a night of billiards, the front desk stopped me and my guests and wouldn’t allow them to come up. Once that was handled by showing ID and being interrogated they were gonna charge me per person to go up in a room I already paid for! I couldn’t believe it. I was embarrassed and my friends felt bad and didn’t want me to pay for them. I should have been told all this in private. Horrible. Night ended early and was ruined by poor front desk service.

It has all of the amenities and a beautiful rooftop bar. You are in downtown Makati so you are in the hub of everything. It's a very busy area with tons of traffic. But on the plus side, you're close to poblacion which has a lot of amazing restaurants and bars.

The building is newer and in good condition. Location is good. Room was good except air conditioning. Parking was good. Food served at restaurants in hotel was disappointing. Other hotels in the area serve better food at lower price. Breakfast was very disappointing. The food was cold and limited options for the price. Other hotels in the area have much better breakfast. AC in room seemed to go offline or programmed to higher temperature at night. Every night we woke up to uncomfortable temperature with no ability to adjust the temperature.

We enjoyed the stay, the rooftop restaurant view was great but we sat at our table forever before we got a waiter and the choice of music playing was horrible, more for a younger crowd of people in their early 20's and it was far to loud. Play something with an older crowd which is typically the age of your guest. The music should be just loud enough to hear but not drown out conversation like your in a nightclub.

The breakfast buffet was not worth 888 peso, I should have asked to see the offerings first. Bread had flies around it, no orange juice or other juices just cucumber and ice tea, limited offerings, just not worth it. But the staff make up for any shortcomings the hotel have, my housekeeping attendant warm hospitality.

A Pleasant Stay with Some Room for Improvement I recently had the pleasure of staying at this establishment, and overall, I was quite satisfied. The staff were courteous and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. However, there were a few areas that needed attention. Unfortunately, my floor had a persistent pungent smell, which I couldn't quite pinpoint, but it wasn't pleasant. I hope the management addresses this issue soon. The buffet was delicious, but I was disappointed to find no vegetarian options. I hope they consider adding some plant-based choices in the future. Nice upmarket hotel, with great facilities. The room was large and very upmarket, with a great view of the city from the floor I was on. The staff were friendly and helpful and the selection at breakfast was broad. I was a little disappointed with the choices available at rooftop bar, and decided to go elsewhere. The local area is very lively and may not be wholly safe, but if you stick to the main streets it should be OK. I had no problems.

I will clean it for you.”

Rooms are a little bit dated . This hotel was our main hotel to stay when in manila before covid . First time back since . Breakfast lacks a decent selection. Restaurant menu much smaller choices now . Front of door staff at reception unprofessional.

ゆっくり過ごさせてもらいました。基本的には満足です。ただ、たまたまだと思いますが、コネクティングルームで、隣室に子供がいてずっと騒いでいて、ちょっとまいったなって感じでした。子供がいる場合、コネクティングルームではない部屋に通すなどの配慮があるといいなと思いました。あと、食事は悪いわけじゃないですけど、満足感がそこまで高くないって感じでした。

I stay for 2 nights Nice hotel. Very modern. I use Spa services. Excellent massage only 1800 peso- 30 dollars for 1 hour. But cleaning people forgot about me. Never replace garbage and bed sheets and towels. Only after my request I be got towels. But hotel is nice , has a nice pool and roof top bar. Very good location

I should have partial refund and discount. The cable tv network had been stripped of its normal and routine channels of bloomberg, axn, tap and HBO (and many others). I complained to desk and IT, and they did not know. finally a supervisor of IT came to my room to say that their cable tv had been stripped or taken away. I would have stayed 3 more nights if they had cable tv (a feature in all Manila hotels for foreigners), but when my 2 nights were used up, I left asap.

Hotel looks nice, The rooms are average, and amenities are nothing extra ordinary. Price is due to its great location. Right in the heart of Makati and Poblacion with an active nightlife. Area is very popular with foreigners and expats. Checking out took a while! Not sure why, my guess is that they had to call housekeeping to make sure the room was not missing anything!!! Although they keep a deposit anyways. TOWELS: They really do not provide enough towels. I had one or two and repeatedly requested for more towels. Rooftop: It supposedly has a nice rooftop bar. But when I check it, the outside area with the city views was closed (some nonsense about bad weather). There was only one other patron sitting there indoor and it was really hot, no AC!? It was pathetic because I had ready many positive reviews of the hotel's rooftop bar being a well know place. Pool: Hotel does have a nice pool which is 1/2 covered which is great for the hot sunny days. It has nice bungalows to use to chill out by the pool, I enjoyed the pool and it is one of its nicest things. if you are in Manila and want to stay close to the nightlife, this hotel is as good as the other ones nearby.
