Good location amazing hotel but typical to Montreal city parking is very difficult to find close by they dont have an assigned parking. You have to pay additional for valet services but you can get your vehicle in/out unlimited amount of times at least.

Beautifully designed hotel with decent amenities and a lovely rooftop terrace. Valet parking makes arriving and departing in a car a snap. I do find the hallways dark and sometimes difficult to spot your door lock but I guess that’s part of the cool vibe.

Was upgraded to a suite on the top floor with a beautiful view. Thank you! Room was clean and housekeeping was prompt when needed. Just too bad there is no pool at the hotel. Location is great! - close to the metro and walking distance to Chinatown, Old Montreal, and shopping area on St. Catherines! Highly recommend!

Overall a very nice stay. Staff were all wonderful. Parking was easy and they were able to charge my EV while parked for a small fee. Check-in took longer than expected and the bathroom shower was a bit weird in that there was no barrier between the shower floor and the rest of the bathroom. The bathroom floor became was quite wet after each shower. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We would stay here again. Again- kudos to the staff.

This hotel was amazing! I booked a suite for my anniversary. Would definitely return if I were to visit old montreal again as everything was within walking distance and only a 8 minute walk from Gare Centrale station for those coming from out of town. Beautiful views, and super polite staff with great amenities. The gym on the 4th floor was also surprisingly well-rounded with aesthetic lighting and overall theme. Looking forward to coming back!!

The hotel is nicely designed and fairly new (about 7 years) and we were upgraded to a small corner suite with floor to ceiling windows stretchng the length of both sides--so that was beautiful. Lounge/restaurant was good, good service, not too busy, good buffet breakfast. Major downside with the facility was that valet parking was full on the day we arrived and it was a hassle to find parking nearby for that night. Location is excellent--close to Old Montreal, both Catholic basilicas, and the Musee des Beaux Arts, so we walked everywhere and didn't need the car at all.

Nice central location to explore all the main attractions of Montreal. Room was ok, however we had to ask for it to be cleaned better as there were hairs and bits of plastic over the carpeted area. Despite telling the hotel about 4 times that the ice machine on our floor did not work and them telling us they would look into it - it did not work through the whole week’s stay. Their suggestion was we go to another floor - not best response for customer service. In fact at one point we felt we were being asked what was wrong with it and questioned about its use. Nice to have a coffee machine and tea making facilities, two small coffee cups, but only one tea cup? Television control in the the room did not work for one of the TV’s when we arrived - this was fixed. However as both TV’s which are back to back in the studio suite room (one facing the bed, one facing the sofa) are the same make and model when you turned on one TV both came on. We were forever trying to turn one off or on when using them. The hotel needs to look at this annoying feature- we did feed this back. Overall a comfortable star with only a few niggles.

Very small room. Nothing to put your stuff. No water provided. When checked in I ask for one day one person breakfast. They changed five day two person breakfast. When call nobody answer. Desk Clark say it’s not refundable. I have to call credit card company to make a stop payment. Finally hotel remove all charges.

The interiors are modern and well designed. Bed was comfy and staff were welcoming. Lots of access to everything you need in the downtown core within a 20 minute walk. It’s also close to the convention centre – I could see it from my hotel window.

Great hotel in a great location. Room was on the small side which was fine because we were gone most of the time exploring the city. Very clean and updated. Wonderful terrace to watch the sunset. Only odd thing was little privacy when using the bathroom in such a small space with a sliding door that doesn’t seal.

Monville was very beautiful, so central (we walked everywhere) and very clean! Our only complaint was that the room was very hot and for some reason we couldn’t bring down the temperature.

The hotel is in a great area close to the train station and old Montreal. It offers a good breakfast and the staff is nice. However I had a series of unfortunate events while staying there. When I checked in, I was charged the deposit twice but it was remedied. My room was very noisy (some sort of metallic banging all throughout the night) - no other room was available and the staff send ear plugs but even with those I was not able to sleep. And lastly my seeing glasses went missing from the bag that was stored for me while I explored the city before my departure. I called the hotel to ask about them and haven’t heard back. The hotel is overall nice and maybe I was just unlucky but I’m not sure I would stay here again.

Hôtel très bien situé entre le Vieux Montréal et le centre-ville. Belle terrasse sur le toit. Par contre les chambres sont petites et peu commodes pour un séjour prolongé car à peu près pas de rangement. Nous avons dû demander des serviettes de bain, du café et du savon qui étaient manquants dans la chambre à notre arrivée.

The hotel itself is absolutely fine. My complaints would be very minimal to most people but worth mentioning for those who may care. The communication is minimal, checking in was speedy but it certainly wasn’t a warm convo with information about the property or offers to help with anything. No one is saying hello to you as you come and go through the day by any means. The HVAC has minimal controls in-room, we found the room a bit stuffy and couldn’t get it as cool as we like for sleeping. There was no dinner room service available, I also couldn’t get the QR code instructions to load for room service for breakfast, despite having a full service resto downstairs, I ended up ordering from a nearby spot and had it delivered. The shower head dripped constantly at varying speeds. We had no success in trying to correct it ourselves and didn’t bother the desk staff with it as closing the door muffled the sound just fine. The space is beautiful, the location is handy. The street was almost entirely torn up but obviously that’s no fault of the hotel. Absolutely not a bad stay, but not rushing back either. I’d likely try another hotel in the area on my next visit.

Customer service at the Monville is excellent. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. I had mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday in my message to the hotel through Expedia and they surprised us with a box of chocolate and champagne, which we both really enjoyed and appreciated! We also called for a shower cap and they came within a minute which was excellent because we were in a rush to get ready. The valet was super easy and cost about 30$/night. They also gave us an umbrella to roam around the city with in the rain. All in all, amazing hotel, will definitely be back here the next time we’re in Montreal. They made for an unforgettable experience!

Overall the hotel was pretty average with absolutely no customer service. Check in is on a screen in the lobby. You cant speak to someone regarding your stay. The one receptionist0 that was there was extremely rude and not willing to help. They actually ticketed me for $97 for parking longer than 15 minutes at the side of the hotel. This was absolutely ridiculous that the hotel purposely tried to get you a parking violation with the city. This to me just goes to show how much they really care about their customers. There are hundreds of better locations if youbwant some customer service.

For vip, I find it to be quite disappointing. All rooms were booked, so there were no room upgrades. In lieu of this, they gave me later check out and 2 bottles of water. They did not even acknowledge the vip until I reminded them.

Property was very modern and clean. Check in was amazing. They send you a QR code ahead of time and you can check yourself in. Very quick! Valet was quick and easy to use. Very walkable area with great restaurants and shopping!

Hotel Monville is conveniently located next to the RESO underground, the metro, bus station, and Old Montreal. The hotel was clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and it was a pleasant stay.

There was no bar or food services between 3-5pm which is really odd for a hotel. We had to go across the street to another hotel to get a beverage and food. There was an education program happening in the bar, but the lobby should have some sort of f&b service.

Lovely modern hotel. Friendly staff. Accommodated my request for non feather pillows which were in my room for arrival. Easy check-in with either self-checkin or with front desk. Room was clean and very comfortable. Only downside was food options. The restaurant stops serving food at 9.30pm with no room service option. Continental breakfast is very expensive for what you receive so I’d recommend avoiding that.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Monville. Our room was available for an early check in which was so helpful. We had the breakfast in the lobby restaurant one day and it was excellent. The location of the hotel was great- very close easy walk to Chinatown, Old Montreal and the Old Port. Room was clean and comfortable. Great stay. Highly recommend.

Staff was excellent, got us checked in early. Washroom was kind of small. Bed was comfortable. Bar and restaurant were nice but didn’t open until 4pm or 5pm, which wasn’t great.

We had a great stay. The breakfast buffet, though a touch pricey, was excellent. Note to future travellers: It took as a night to figure out that the room is equipped with blinds that raise and lower by pushing a button in the desk near the window. We sat something in front of it when unpacking. In future, we'll know to look for that if we return.

A nice hotel but there were a couple of issues which stood out for me: 1.) you cannot turn the air conditioning off in your room (something to do with the fact that windows cannot be opened) so if you are a light sleeper then this hotel is not for you as the air conditioning makes a racket. A member of staff told me that this is a known issue but no concrete plans to fix. 2.) you have to pay a security deposit of CAD 100 per night. Not sure what for as my room was pre-paid and there is no mini bar in your room - if you buy drinks, food etc. then you pay at source. Yes this block is lifted on check out but it is an inconvenience as you have to wait for the block to be lifted, which can be days or even weeks. On the plus side rooms are decent and housekeeping is very good. Also breakfast is very good so I would recommend if you not sure whether to pay the fee or not. Staff in general are both courteous and efficient. Hotel is centrally located, close to subway stations, so easy to get around the city . Unless they can sort out the air conditioning issue and have a more flexible security deposit policy, then I would not consider staying here again.
