Got a family room. It was large and the bathroom was great! Around the hotel, nothing much to explore. 10mins walk to nearest train station. Taxi from anywhere around the central attractions and malls will cost you upwards of 200baht due to the bangkok jam. Gym is very good. Pools are non-heated with a jacuzzi.

Everything was great! Good location, great amenities, and it was very clean. The only issue was the pool temperature. It was way too cold to swim for me, let alone my kids. All in all, it was a great place to stay in Bangkok.

To say this at first: Writing this opinion/review about the hotel takes into account that this is a pretty expensive 5-star-hotel. I would not book again. Staff was polite like everywhere in Asia but pretty cold, also no welcome drink on arrival. Everyone seemed a bit snobbish and careless. Breakfast is very expensive (more than 20 Euros per person) if it is not included in your booking; it is very good though and plenty of nice food to choose from. Location is pretty bad. There is nothing really great around this place within walking distance. To walk from MRT/BTS Petchabuhri or Makassan with your luggage is possible but you will probably have to cross a pedestrian bridge and lift your luggage up the stairs and it's a few hundred meters walking. The room was nice and pretty big, bed was good too. But the aircon was extremely loud even on the lowest level and the street and MRT was clearly audible in the room. Didn’t bother my sleep but it might bother others. The pool had way too much chlorine, seemed a bit ageing and the hot tub was too hot and moldy wood around. The shower near the pool had an unpleasant sleazy floor and a dead cockroach in it, so I didn’t use it. Overall I just expected more on many different levels for the price I paid.

The location is convenient and walkable distance the sightseeing. However, the house keeping service has to be improved. We stayed for 2 nights, the second day my husband and I have no big towels to use. They took away the used towels but forgot to give us the new one. We use the towels for face to dry our hair and body. This was a very careless mistake for 5 stars hotel.

This is a very nice property and offers great value for a 5 star hotel, but there is not much walkable in the area. You need to take the MTR (10 minutes walk) to go anywhere... I also had significant Wi-Fi issues where it kept kicking my phone off every 30 seconds even after having the tech guy come to my room for 30 minutes. This issue never got resolved during my stay there. Breakfast and staff are very good and rooms very nice for the money. I've stayed here multiple times, but the Wi-Fi issue is new and hopefully gets resolved soon as everything else is great!

The Lancaster was a great base for our family trip to Bangkok. It's not in the perfect location for seeing all the sights but it is a good one - very near to Petchaburi station on the MRT blue line which went to all the major locations and we managed to see everything we wanted to from this location The only critical I have is that the family room while spacious, was let down by the glass positions between the rooms - that means if you have small kids like us you essentially have to sit in the dark while the kids get to sleep, or have them go to sleep in light. Not ideal. Otherwise we were very happy with the Lancaster, we ate there one night too and the Thai food was good, the pizza for the kids was a little undercooked on the bottom.

Had to change rooms three!! times before I got the room I booked and an acceptable clean room. Shuttleservice which was promoted before booking was not existent. had to pay full for the taxi to MBK which was organized by the hotel. After complaining about the check-in experience and the shuttle-service, I was asked if "a drink" would make me happy again .... Altogether would never again book the hotel since it has to much of "wear and tear", cleanness not 5 star standard and needs a lot of TLC....

Amazing hotel. Spent 1 night already checked 10 nights for when I return in April. Great service, great atmosphere, rooms are incredible. From the entrance to you are in your room there is complete service. Served an amazing drink while checking in also. 10/10

When we checked in our room, the hotel only had one bathrobe prepared for us. Since we are a couple, we called the reception to bring anther one to our room. We left both in our room. However, they insisted that we should return three because they were mistaken for the pieces. Finally we had to pay B750 for the issue in order to leave for the airport. Though we got to the airport the last minute to catch our flight, I still believe we should not buy for their mistake and this was a not professional way as a so called grand hotel.

recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lancaster Bangkok, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The reception team deserves a special mention – Guy, Bank, and Bees went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and seamless. The team there did an incredible job providing top-notch service. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the quality of the food and beverages was outstanding. The lounge itself was a serene and stylish space, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Bangkok. The hotel facilities were also excellent. The fitness center is well-equipped, the pool area is beautifully maintained, and the spa offered a tranquil escape with exceptional treatments. Very satisfied with my 1 night stay. Gym, pool, sauna and all other amenities in the property were great. Staffs were amazing too. Himms in Concierge was very resourceful and top notch. Best Service in Thailand we stayed in multiple well know 5 star brands across Thailand and nothing compares to the club level service at Lancaster Nuchy and the rest of staff where fantastic, Hotel had a great location with the best access to airport and multiple options to spread across Bangkok after multiple Bangkok hotels this will be the only one we will come back for seconds too!

For the first stay, unfortunately the hotel was too occupied to provide room upgrade. However, we managed to get room upgrade on the second booking. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, they provided luggage storage service for us whilst us travelling around other parts of Thailand. Room is very spacious and clean. The hotel surrounding is more quiet compared to some central areas of Bangkok, but it is very close to MRT station and it was easy for us to get around via public transport.

Lovely stay at a premier hotel. From the moment we arrived on the property we were treated with care and attention. The room was spacious and gorgeous with no details overlooked. The pool and fitness facilities exceeded expectations as well. The breakfast was a special experience and wonderful way to begin the day. The hotel restaurant was satisfactory for the price while the food at the rooftop bar was subpar. Overall it was an amazing stay and we would love to return.

Great hotel, overall 5 star quality with much lower price. The gym is excellent and the sushi restaurant was an amazing meal. We also got a room upgrade through being elligble from Expedia but only after we asked for it. The area the hotel is located in is a very heavy traffic road but very central to everything. You may want to plan your daily trips around the most busy period which is from 5pm to 8pm. The only down side is that the door man were very strangely rude. The same door man/ bell boy came to my room to take my luggage down, the strangest part was his lack of smiling or response to me. Then as we were leaving at the door of the taxi he stopped putting the luggage in the boot and just left with most of it non inside the taxi. We had no prior disagreement or any indication why he wouldn't do it but it wasn't due to him and the other doorman being too busy, I could see it was a purposeful decision that they would no longer do it. We left the hotel on Saturday at noon. I hope the hotel management ensure this no longer happens. If he wanted me to help put the luggage in the taxi he could have asked but I was trying to help my pregnant wife at the time.
